Good, but not great. I found the walking route a little confusing. Might their be a way to integrate it with Google Maps? Might there be a way to match the length of the audio descriptions with the time that it takes to walk from one stop to another? In some places, I wish that there had been a way to ask questions or get more in depth info. Might there be a way to add a button that says, "For more information about this site, press here"?

Very interesting vignettes. Just the right amount of information. We liked that we could split our visit into sectors and progress at our own pace.
Great audio tour of Lyon! Highly recommend for flexibility, easy to use, great value and very informative. Could do at your own pace and even review again afterwards if you missed something. Recommend bringing a battery pack for phone, earphones/buds are extremely helpful and it was a bit hard to mitigate task taking pictures and paying attention so maybe good to start & stop if you have the time.
Extensive tour takes most of the day but very enjoyable and informative. Quite a lot of walking but well worthwhile. Some great views over the city.
I loved how the audio guide takes you through the city's symbolic locations while sharing anecdotes about silk merchants, the Lumière filmmakers, and Lyon's evolution as France's gastronomic capital. The map works perfectly, guiding you with precision, which makes the tour flow naturally. In addition, the sound design, with soft French music, adds a charming touch. Very well produced, engaging, and full of personality.
Setting up the audio was a bad user experience, and excessively complex. I wasted nearly 2 hours figuring it out. Once we had the audio in the app working the commentary was excellent. The map to each sight was clustered and confusing but trial and error worked to get me to each. Overall the audio tour worked way better than a larger organised group tour. It provided a wonderful introduction to the City of Lyon and its history.
Great idea. We're all used to using maps/Google and following the dots around so why not have it on a tour. Very cheap too. The commentaries were good and once you got the hang of it moving between locations was easy. Not so good if you want to meet people though.
I had downloaded the data at home before starting the tour. At stop 11 the app crashed and wouldn’t reload. I had to try and reload the data six times before the app started working again. I had to delete the app and download it again before it worked.
We needed something to keep us busy on May 1, which was a national holiday meaning everything was pretty much closed. This self-guided walking tour saved the day! It was very informative and even though we couldn’t go inside some of the churches or other buildings on the tour, the commentary helped us understand the history and dynamics of the city. It is completely at your own pace so we took the opportunity to stroll from location to location, having a beverage or small bite as desired. Overall, a great way to learn about the city and get some exercise at the same time, all for a very affordable rate!
I really enjoyed the walking tour and learning about the history of the city. I would take another self-guided walking tour in the future.
Interesting idea using your phone as a self-guided tour. Good commentaries. However, there is no interaction with google maps, so the app does not help you to get from one place of interest to the next.
Very engaging audioguide: many details, many interesting facts and all main attraction covered. It's nice that we can do the tour in our own pace.
Nice circular route through Lyon. Imposing structures and great viewpoints. The audio guide provided interesting information.
Great tour through Lyon, it was super interesting. To get started, you need to download the TouringBee app.
Molto interessante aggiungerei però il nome della via/piazza dove si trova il monumento in descrizione
Easy and interesting: a guided tour but adaptable to everyone's needs without time or stops.
Very good experience, I recommend. Good itinerary and clear explanation. You can take the time to discover with ease
Easy to use guide, with very interesting stories about the most important monuments to visit in the city
We loved it! We are totally autonomous and can do the route in several days. I recommend!
Perfect for a quality guided tour at your own pace Downloading the product is not easy but eventually it is done and then use is simple
