We were on the tour the day after the demonstrations in Lyon. The damage and recovery efforts put a slight dent in the execution of the tour. But the tour guide was great in the way she did not get flustered but did adjust to locked doors/gates/WCs. A great tour of Lyon and the Old City. We would definitely recommend this tour.

Monelle was camazing. We learned a lot of history of Lyon, walked through several traboules, and saw how silk is made. She made the tour very interesting and fun!

Our guide, Manel, was fantastic. Super knowledgeable. We learned so much about the history of Lyon. Our guide went the extra mile to customize to our group. I would highly recommend this tour and especially Manel.

I had half day in Lyon and made a reservation for a 3pm guided tour. Unfortunately they cancelled the tour only 30min before the starting time. Very disappointed, as it disrupted other arrangements of the day.

Wonderful tour and very knowledgeable guide!

Our tour guide Manel was wonderful. She knew so much about Lyon and its history and its place in French and world history. It was such a pleasure learning from someone who loved the subject so much. The walk was easy, and we saw many beautiful sights and found many places to eat the local specialties.

Sadly Macarena just pleasantly walked us round the sites of Lyon with out being able to answer any questions about the city’s history.For almost £60 this was very disappointing.Would we take a gamble on a trip advisor guide again I’m afraid not.

The guide was knowledgeable about the history and culture of Lyon. The route was fairly flat making the tour very walkable.

Out walking tour of Lyon was excellent. With a small group we were able to easily access lots of small spaces ahead of the larger groups. Our guide, Angela was very informative and showed us lots of things we would never have found on our own. She also sent links to other sites not on the tour that we had expressed an interest in. Would definitely recommend this tour if you want to get a good sense of Lyon.

We had a wonderful walking tour of Lyon with Manlee. We had the good fortune to have her all to ourselves for the duration of the tour, which lasted 2.5 hours. She is a delightful young lady whose knowledge of Lyon was excellent. We covered quite a bit of territory. She also recognized my wife’s interest in shopping and provided her with the opportunity to purchase a silk scarf. Thank you Manlee for teaching us about Lyon’s history and sharing your love for your adopted city.

Must do experience. Lyon is full of history! Manel explained so many things and showed from place Bellecour to Cathedral of St. Jean. Thank you, Manel! We love Lyon, the gastronomic capital of France, the romanian history part of the city, Lugdunum, the birthplace of cinema, puppet, and etc...

Our guide was very nice, but seemed to know little about Lyon. She wasn’t able to expand on any history or answer most questions. Pretty disappointing as this is one of the most expensive walking tours I’ve booked.
