Mikhail was a terrific, knowledgeable and accommodating guide! We loved the personal tour through the city. The experience exceeded our expectations! He gave great recommendations for follow up activities. Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our tour guide provided so much information on the history and insights of Lyon. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour.
Michelle was very charming and knowledgeable. My husband and I learn much about Lyon. 2 hours seemed perfect. Since I can not walk very well, this was an ideal option than a walking tour. He also had recommendations of what to see and visit and eat and drink. I highly recommend.
Micheal was excellent and knew everything about Lyon. Would highly recommend.. my mother is unable to walk far and so this was perfect for us to see more of the city
Great tour! Much more of a history lesson. You don’t cover very much ground. Concentrated on Bellcor and the old city. I enjoyed what I did see, however I was wanting to visit all of the areas of the peninsula.
We had a good time. Got to go to places down tiny roads with beautiful cafes and stores regular vehicles cannot broach
WOW! This was beyond our expectations. We learned so much about Lyon! We took all the advice of our guide down to what to order for dinner and where we should eat! He showed us things we will do tomorrow where we can spend more time.
Wonderful experience! Our guide was no knowledgeable and went above and beyond to show us all the things in old town Lyon! I highly recommend!
Michael was a truly delightful and expert tour guide. He isn’t just an informed tour guide. He’s also a natural storyteller and a pleasant and attentive person. My wife and I found every moment of the tour fun and informative. We could hear and understand him well, and he was highly attentive to both our surroundings and our questions. He also maximized our comfort on the entire ride. Anytime we wanted to stop for a photo, he cooperated. And sometimes he coached us about waiting for an even better photo than the one we were about to take. We cannot recommend him highly enough!!
The guide was knowledgeable, friendly, flexible, and I learnt a lot- got a sense of the city quickly that then allowed me to explore further on my own. The guide knows Lyon’s history well.
A great way to see a lot in a short while - we took the 2 hr option and I think you’d need 2 hrs in Lyon! We had lots of opportunities to walk around and also our driver - Michael - positioned the bike for best photos plus also took photos for us. Michael was very knowledgeable and his English was good!
Our driver, Mikhail is a lifelong Lyonaise resident and a wonderful tour guide for history buffs. As he pedaled along he regaled us with his knowledge of French history and pointed out so many features that would have gone unnoticed without his guidance. A great way to get the lay of the land and a real boon for those with mobility issues. Highly, highly recommend
We booked this tour the day before when we realized we wouldn’t get to walk around / see as much on our own in our short time in Lyon because it was raining in our first day. Michael is knowledgeable and a great story teller who gave us the 1 hour glimpse of Lyon and its history. In hindsight, I wish we would have booked him first bc he showed us a lot of cool places we’d like to return to. Highly recommend!
Mikhail was incredible as our guide and pedicab driver. His historical knowledge and the tremendous pride he takes in his city was central to the tour. We consider this tour to be the best of the many we have taken across Europe and highly recommend it.
Mikhaïl was an excellent guide - he was passionate about the city of Lyon and very knowledgeable. He had a good sense of humour and made the 2 hours trip an absolute pleasure.
He is VERY knowledgeable and we would add extremely kind. He wants to personally show you Old Lyon, while making sure your questions and needs are met. We think anyone would be satisfied if they book the tour. It was a lot of fun!
Fun, informative, great guide, good way to get your bearings in the city and learn some history . Guide friendly and on time.
A wonderful last-minute booking on a drizzly day in Lyon. A fun and informative tour of the old town.
If you don't want to fight your way over cobblestones, this is for you! I have some mobility issues, yet wanted to see more of Lyon. Michael was WONDERFUL! Even though we encountered a huge protest march and police action (May Day), Michael was able to get us around the city and showed us most of what we wanted to see. He was very informative and gave us a lot of the history of Lyon and of France. A great way to see the city!
Enjoyed the ride around old town Lyon. Michael is very knowledgeable and gave us thorough historical info of the different places. Michael is very cheerful and you feel very comfortable during the 2-hour tour.
One hour with great insights into the history of Lyon and particularly the development of Christianity here. Helpful, answered questions, discussed the silk industry as well. Time well spent. We forgot a jacket and we were able to meet up and collect after being dropped off, which was appreciated.
Michael was an excellent tour guide of Old Town Lyon. He knew its history, its secret passageways used in Medieval times as well as by the French Resistance during WWII, shops and where to buy stuff. We stopped at an historic church with an astrological clock, a silk store with an old time weaving machine that he explained how it worked, a praline candy shop, and a cluster of buildings that had an interesting design of how multiple centuries old apartment units could draw water from the same well. And, he did all the driving!!
We only had one day & night in Lyon, so a pedicab tour seemed like an ideal & affordable way to get an overall feel for the city in a short amount of time. We had arranged to be picked up at our hotel soon after we had landed in Lyon, & the timing worked out great. Our guide Michael is obviously passionate about his city's rich history & architecture. We were nearing the end of our two hour tour, headed back towards our hotel & Michael was becoming increasingly careless & aggressive trying to navigate the extremely crowded pedestrian street. He showed no care whatsoever for anyone who got in his way & must have hit (or at least brushed up against at considerable speed) 6-8 people. Pedestrians were understandably upset & Michael proceeded to have loud arguments with many of them as we were stuck sitting in the backseat wondering what was going on. One group of guys encircled us while banging on the back of the pedicab. The whole situation quickly become more alarming & we asked him several times to please stop & let us out but he didn't seem inclined to listen & kept plowing through the busy street. I'm not sure what triggered the sudden change in his demeanor, but we were quite surprised by the lack of professionalism & care for safety by the end.
A great experience with Michael, he was there at the meeting point ahead of schedule. Friendly, good English and his tour was passionate and informative. We just did one hour but almost wish we’d done two! It was relaxing and interesting and didn’t feel rushed. Well worth taking initially until you get your directions.
We enjoyed our tour and our guide was full of knowledge and information. A great thing to do when you arrive in Lyon to see where you want to visit and spend time.
very informative and a wonderful and passionate guide. Definitely worth it. I wish we had time to take an extra hour because it was so interesting and a wonderful experience.
Michael was our pedicab pilot who was very knowledgeable and fun during our 1hr tour. He peddled us around the old town where we also walked through a couple of traboules. We had a good time. Thanks Michael.
Micheal was great. Very knowledgeable. Took us to learn about silk making, and see the old town churches
We really enjoyed our ride. Mikhail was very friendly and so nice and very knowledgeable about the area. We learned a lot from him. We highly recommend taking this tour especially with him.
Michael met us promptly at a central location. Ride was very comfortable for two hours that flew by. Saw a lot of attractions up close. Stopped at some for more info. Spoke English quite well. Always helpful with extra stops, answering questions and taking pictures. Took us back to starting point but offered to drop us closer to our hotel if needed.
Excellent way to discover Lyon. Michael was the best driver and tour guide. We saw so much more than we could have imagined. Really appreciated the communication before the meetup time with directions, etc. i learned a lot and highly recommend this excursion in Lyon.
I've discovered and just love these pedicab tours. They are slow, fresh air, good explanations along the way, no windows in the way of pictures. May not cover as much distance as a bus tour but they can get places that busses can't and that is worth a lot. Michael was a wonderful guide, easy to understand, born in Lyon so really knew the city and some of the merchants along the way. Very accommodating of my mobility issues with ankle problems. I would definitely recommend.
The pedi-cab tour was the perfect activity on the afternoon we first landed in Lyon, after an overnight flight. The operator was super knowledgeable. And we felt like we learned a lot… without ever leaving our seats. For the price, it totally exceeded my expectations.
We had a fabulous tour around Vieux Lyon (the old town) with our guide, Michael. Michael was extremely knowledge and friendly and answered all our questions. He pointed out extremely interesting elements of Lyon we would not have seen or experienced otherwise. From seeing a silk loom, to the traboules, the history of the Lumière brothers and so much more. Best guided tour we have ever been on. Can’t recommend this tour and our guide highly enough.
We had a great time with Michael on the tour, he is friendly and knowledgeable and you really get to explore Old Lyon and it's treboules. Would definitely recommend it as a relaxing eco-friendly way to see the city
Lovely way to see the most interesting parts of Lyon with a helpful, friendly and knowledgeable guide.
My sister and I had a great time on our Pedicab tour today. Our guide was very knowledgable about the history of Lyon and showed us all the historical sights. We added a few other sights that we asked to see. He also gave us some suggestions for after the tour we thoroughly enjoyed too.
Michael did a great job. He was knowledgeable, friendly, fun and entertaining. My only suggestion would be to make this a longer experience. Maybe 120 minutes at a higher price. I would have loved learning more and seeing more.
Michael was a wonderful tour guide. We especially learned a great deal about the silk weavers. We were able to get to areas cars cannot go which was fun. We also walked into a hidden passageway - and learned that many of them were used by the Resistance. Went into the beautiful church St Jean with colorful stained glass windows and an astronomical clock. It was a fun two hour tour.
Very nice tour guide. He even dropped us off at the location of our next tour and saved us a lot of walking in the extreme heat.
Had a great two-hour tour. A great way to get out of the Lyon summer heat and save your energy for the rest of the day. Great tour guides making sure we got to see the most important parts of Old Lyon we would have probably missed otherwise.
Very knowledgeable, great information waiting on time excellent activity. Would recommend. Guide was so helpful.
Perfect option to walking. Our guide was informative and made many stops to catch a snapshot. You could never walk the distance on your own - why try. Worth every penny. Don't forget to leave a tip - the driver earns it!
Thoroughly enjoyable 2 hour pedicab ride with Michael who was very knowledgeable and informative on the city. Revealed things we had walked past and not known about the day before. Also was a plus that kindly dropped off nearer our hotel at the end. Would recommend a pedicab ride to see some of the city and learn more of its history.
Our guide had the most wonderful French accent. He could voice a Disney character. He was kind, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable.
Michael was very knowledgeable about Lyon and he gave us a very good introduction to the city and it’s history
Excellent experience. Went to old area was great. He as pleasant and knowledgeable. We’ll worth it. Very good experience
This is a great way to see Lyon and have a detailed explanation of the various locations. Michael was a great guide. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Nothing against the guide, but he introduced us to a guy selling photography, and he charged us twice for the item. Michael, please ask your mate to refund or send me his email.
Take a rain poncho/coat JUST in case! We left our hotel in hot sunshine; a thunder storm rolled in. Michael was quick to find shelter where he could and turned it into a learning experience, sharing about that location; his knowledge is amazing and he is so passionate about his city and it's history, it's infectious.
Michael was a gracious guide. We enjoyed his commentary. It was a bit of a chilly day, so a lap blanket would have been welcome.
