A great place to stay while visiting Lyon. The room was clean and equipped with an extra sink, a fridge, and—if needed— two-burner stove which you have to take care of yourself. Must say, that during our 4 nights stay no one came to clean or collect the rubbish bins. But it wasn't a big deal for us. I think, if you need extra cleaning then, it will cost you €10 extra each day.( If I am not mistaken) Better ask when booking. You can walk to the metro station or tram stop in just a few minutes and is up to 10 minutes from close shops and restaurants. The transport in Leon cost €2.10 for an hour trip and for any changes to a trum or a bus within that time. Good connection to city centre. The hotel offers comfortable sleeping arrangements and a private bathroom. Breakfast is at the additional cost, it is served until 10:00 AM and offers a wide selection of items. After hours you can get something from vending machines. My room was at the ground level, but I got to the top, just to take a pictures. So you can see also the view from the upper level. A successful stay for us.

This was the worst hotel. The room had hotel rules stating that I was required to keep the room, including the kitchen, clean. However, I checked into a completely dirty room. At the reception, I was told that I just wouldn’t have to pay for cleaning after check-out. My room was never cleaned during my stay. The kitchen and bathroom were dirty before my check in. For extra cleaning, they charge €10. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Parking is awful as the service at the frontdesk. Need 45 minutes for check in without anyone in front of us tonget a faulty card and can not use the card to open the garage. Where you get the worst possible spot assigned for a sedan.
Why does this hotel advertise it as 4 stars? The room was OK, the aircon worked quite well, although the bedroom was hot but the sitting room was cold (which was a bonus during the heatwave), but it would be better if it was even out , there were minor issues (like a broken hinge on the kitchen cupboard). I understand it is self catering but not providing any dishwashing products, or just two toilet rolls for a week, is a cheap shot. They clean the rooms only every 8 days, and you have to take the rubbish out yourself, or they charge up to £95 for trash removal and washing dishes. The location is very good, a short walk to the Metro, and just a few stops to the old town and the centre, in a business area so very quiet around. The staff were not too friendly and helped with everything but it seemed like a bother, so we quickly left them alone. Free parking outside, paid underground. It is a good place to stay if you don't expect hotel service, but it is not 4 stars, maybe 2 and a half. Make sure you have a bin bag and washing up liquid with a sponge, or dishwasher tablets, as you will have to pay extra to get some from them. Beds are not too comfortable, and heatwave made it worse, but it is a good base to explore Lyon and surrounding areas
Don't book this hotel – Staff Threatened to Kick Us Out twice! This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. Not only did Odalys City Lyon BioParc fail to provide enough hot water and proper heating, but the receptionist threatened to kick us out when we asked for help. • Not enough hot water, they provided bath tub but didn't warn us that they use water tank and the hot water is limited for one person use only. Air conditioner is set to maximum 21 degrees. Electric heating defect. • Receptionist Mr.A wasn't helping but was sarcastic and rude. When we called about the situation that my friend has shampoo on hair and freezes, he asked us to wait for one hour or two for hot water. And threatened us to stop calling: “If you call again, I will kick you out.” After that, he hanged up the phone. • Anonymous call at 04:35 AM after I reported the threat on booking hotel chat channel. And after 4 days I receive no reply from hotel manager. • The next day, when I asked for the manager’s email, he refused saying " I don't want to" and threatened to kick us out again. I have never felt so disrespected and unsafe in a hotel. This is completely unacceptable for any Hotel Standard. I didn't read google reviews before I booked this hotel and this is my mistake. I believe the accounts about this hotel are true. Although the price is good, it's better to avoid this place at all costs. To the hotel reply: I used no improper language which is also what your employee fail to points out. While the hotel considered not resolving issue but making threat is acceptable or even encouraged, speaks a lot for the hotel's standard.
