Great hotel in the heart of (or one of the hearts of 😉) Lyon! Great location next to tons of restaurants, shopping, and bars. Easy to get to several modes of transportation. The room was very clean, the bathroom spacious, and the shower was very good (pressure, hot water, space). Free water and coffee in the lobby at all hours. Pro-tip: use ZenPark for a slightly more affordable option instead of nearby LPA public garages (which can be upwards of 45€ a day)

One of the worster Hotel with 4 stars I ever stayed. The room was clean and equipped, but... but: 1. There were not any drinking water in the room at all - i suppose, it is already standard, that it should be there. Isn't it? 2. We travelled 3 people and therefore Hotel prepared a sofa for the hight as an additional place - and this sofa is creaking all the time. Not only when you move, but even when you just breath 3. The door in bathroom is also creaking for each movement 4. The sink was soo old and i guess it is here from the first day when the building was completed 5. The breakfast was so simple and poor, that i thought, that it is 2 stars Hotel. 6. And additional, i guess, they do not any available space for the kitchen. But this room close to the canteen, i heard every sound out of this during the breakfast 7. Final point as a cherry on the cake - I stayed in room 101 and the view from the window... it is something unforgettable I would not recommend you to stay in this hotel at all. Especially for the price they ask. It is not 4 stars Hotel - Max 3, but with many assumptions.
A good hotel in a great location but not sure if it's a 4*. Room was good with a very comfortable bed and effective air conditioning but corridors were tired and the lift was broken. Breakfast was ok and they did provide a gluten free one but you had to carry your own tray up a spiral staircase to eat outside. Location was excellent and free tea, coffee and filtered water was a bonus.
If I could could give 10 stars, I would. Location is central to everything and is within walking distance of everything. The only time we took a taxi was when we arrived and left. We used the hotel as a base for our travel around the Lyon area. The biggest compliment however has to go to the staff. As an example some of our luggage was delayed and Matilde called Air France on our behalf and stayed on for almost an hour until the issue was resolved. The biggest surprise came at the end when the staff gave us a farewell gift. Rooms were great and we had a good night’s sleep each night. We will definitely stay at the Silky again and will recommend it to everyone visitong Lyon.
This hotel was a wow from check in to check out and everything especially the buffet breakfast was delicious. Beds comfortable, rooms functional and high levels of friendly helpful service The room was whisper quite though located on a busy street super central to great bars and restaurants. 15 stars 5 each for rooms service and location
