I got a Privliege room with free refreshments, tea, coffee, etc. The one issue is that the night tables are too small. Nice to have some cake. At reception in the afternoon. Coralie and Josefa did a great work in cleaning the room. All was perfect. Staff at reception were helpful and nice to us. They provide also with toothpaste and shaving soap when asked. Not all hotels keep these toiletries available nowadays. I will come back to this hotel in my next trip to Lyon.

Location is really good. Walking distance to the old town. The room was clean and cool during this heatwave which was good. But it’s very tiny , you can barely move around the room . The bathroom same thing, very small. I didn’t have the time to try breakfast as it starts at 7am. Usually it’s 6:30 am but anyway , I haven’t tried it.
Based on what you described, I’d give 4 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆. The positives (clean room, friendly staff throughout the hotel, good service, great location) are strong. The noise issue sounds significant but not severe enough to drop to 3 stars, especially since your overall experience seems positive. Review: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ We had a pleasant stay overall. The room was clean, and the staff were genuinely welcoming and helpful throughout our visit. Everyone we interacted with, from the front desk to the bar and service teams, was friendly and professional. A special mention to Celestina from housekeeping, who was lovely and did a great job keeping the room spotless. The location is excellent and makes it easy to enjoy the area. That said, the hotel feels more like a 3-star property than a 4-star one in terms of facilities and overall atmosphere. The main downside was the noise in the morning. Even before 9 a.m., we could hear vacuum cleaners, doors closing, and general activity in the corridors, which made it difficult to sleep in. Overall, a good stay thanks to the cleanliness, location, and especially the staff, but something to keep in mind if you’re a light sleeper or hoping for a quiet morning.
Whenever I come to work in Lyon I always try and stay here. Great rooms, comfiest beds, great wifi and close to the centre and Bellecour Square. It’s like a home from home and never been disappointed here. All Reception staff including Ethan plus the bar team are so friendly. Dorcas at the bar has been here over three years and remembers me and my favourite drinks, always with a warm welcome and smile Wonderful team across the board including Housekeeping who keep the hotel spotless. And breakfast is pretty good too. I’ll always return and use this as my base
We visited Lyon early-mid December. We were fortunate enough to participate in the grand spectacle that is the Fête des Lumières. The bed was comfortable and plush. The bathroom was spotless. The bar provided free water refills. Above all, the staff was able to retrieve a lost item in the room after check-out and get it to me even after I've left the country. They provided stellar service.
