Grand Hotel Des Brotteaux Lyon Ctre - Handwritten Collection

Great location right in front of probably one of the loveliest looking small railway stations I have seen in France. We walked to Les Halles food market plus the hotel has a very good Michelin-starred restaurant on one side and an historic brasserie on the other. The room is soundproofed and beds are very comfortable. The hotel staff could not have been more helpful.

Family of three, we stayed 2 nights, our room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff was welcoming and professional. Very good breakfast. Overall a great stay. The hotel us also in a great location especially if traveling to/from the main train station.

Absolutely gorgeous place to stay. The staff was friendly and professional, everything was super clean and the rooms were perfect. Very comfortable bed!! Located perfectly in walking distance to anything you need. A must stay!!

Very disappointing stay. We had a sleepless night because the air conditioning didn’t work. When we called maintenance, we were told that none of the AC units in the hotel are working. Opening the window isn’t an option since the hotel is right across from a train station and the noise is unbearable. The staff were friendly and offered to move us to another room, but it wouldn’t solve the issue. What’s most frustrating is that reviews from two weeks ago already mentioned this problem, and as of April 30th, it’s still not fixed. This is not a temporary issue it’s poor management. Not recommended until AC resolved.
