We will start our tour with a drive around the walls of the Old Town of Rhodes - the biggest inhabited medieval town in Europe. It was built in 1300s from the knights of the order of St. John. The Medieval Town of Rhodes is inscribed in the World Heritage Sites List of UNESCO. If you want we can extend the duration of the tour with 1 hour and you can have also some free time to go through the Old town and explore it on your own.
Mandraki harbor - we will stop at the place where the ancient and legendary Colossus of Rhodes once stood. It was known as one of the seven wonders of the Ancient World.
First, we will have a stop for a breathtaking panoramic view of the city of Rhodes and then you will have a walk through the Temple of Pythian Apollo, Ancient Stadium and Amphitheatre
We will enter also the Church of the Annunciation which is the biggest Orthodox church in the town with very beautiful handmade paintings on the walls.
Upon request, we can have a stop at a pottery factory to see how ceramics are made - a technique that has been used from ancient times till now. If you are interested in buying jewelry as a souvenir from your visit to Rhodes we can also have a stop at a Gold factory to find your unique piece.
Before leaving the village of Lindos we will have a stop for pictures at one of the most beautiful beaches on the island with a stunning view
Upon arrival at Lindos, we will spend a few minutes on the top of the hill to soak in the spectacular views and grab memorable panoramic photographs before heading to the village square.
Your driver will leave you just outside the entrance of the village of Lindos. You will have at least 1 hour stay for a walk through the narrow streets of this traditional village. If you walk up through the small, winding streets you will eventually reach the Acropolis on the top. A dramatic view will be your great reward combined with lots of history and great photo opportunities(entrance fee 20 Euro/per person). The Acropolis in Lindos is the second most popular Acropolis in Greece after the Parthenon in Athens. Your driver will wait for you at the exact place he left you.
We will have a stop at an outstanding traditional tavern with a gorgeous panoramic view. Relax and enjoy a fabulous lunch and excellent local wines (the price of the lunch is not included)

An amazing experience Nikos made us feel so relaxed and was full of knowledge and great anecdotes form his grandfather. We got to see so much of Rhodes and he was always happy to answer any questions we had . Taverna we stopped in was amazing alongside the olive oil and local wine tasting and pottery. We never felt pressured to buy from any of these but enjoyed learning about the history and traditions of this lovely island. Would highly recommend the tour company as nothing to much for them.

We had a wonderful time with our guide Nikos in Rhodes! We had no idea what a lovely island with such great people it was. We have had many great days, but this was probably the best! Nikos was so warm and friendly and tailored our tour to our group! We had one person with walking difficulties and he totally worked with us to make it a wonderful day. Besides the normal ancient sites (which were amazing with Nikos’ insights) we were able to go to a little out of town pottery shop and watch the owner make a beautiful vase! The shop was full of beautiful works of art all made on site! We finished with a fantastic Greek meal - best food ever! Would highly recommend!! A day to remember! ❤️

We booked a day trip (5 hours) via Rhodes Taxi Tours. The taxi picked us up directly in front of the hotel. Our driver was Nicholas. He was a very friendly and professional driver! What an amazing day we had with Aga for our private tour of the island of Rhodes! We saw all of the highlights of the island in an unhurried itinerary. Can’t recommend this enough. So much better than tour bus and group tours. Private car can stop where buses cannot for pictures. Drivers know off the beaten path pottery shops, suggests the best spots and things to look at during free time and even had lunch arrangements at a smaller local spot. We’ll worth the extra cost when compared to group tours.
Our tour guide, George, was fantastic. He answered all of our questions and showed us the best of Rhodes. It was so nice to be driven around in an air conditioned vehicle with just our group! I highly recommend this tour.

It was a perfect day from the vey start! We arrived on a cruise ship to Rhodes and we were met just outside the ship by our driver. The car was really comfortable and luxury and it was just for us! Our driver was a local and he managed to show us such a great places! It was a great experience and we would highly recommend this private tour! Would love to return to Rhodes again one day
When we landed in Rhodes on our cruise ship Mr Nicholas who I have toured with a couple of times was already waiting besides the ship for my friends and myself to take us on a tour to Lindos . Because I had such nice experiences with Nicholas a couple of times before I had contacted him again and received fast and detailed responses of what and where he could take us for the day. We had a great ride to the Mandraki Harbour , Smith Hill and up to the Filerimos Hill with the monastery and the big cross and the beautiful view after which we went towards Lindos . Because I had been to the Acropolis before and my friends did not want to climb the big hill we just went to the village and the St Paul's Bay . Last time Nicholas had taken us to a very nice little roadside restaurant with a great view and we had a beautiful Greek lunch there I had asked him to take my new friends there again and asked him to order a very nice Greek lunch with a fish for the 3 of us . It was wonderful and we did not leave much on our plates other than the bones . After going by some very nice beaches he took us back towards the port . We had a wonderful day together and I can certainly recommend that you ask for Mr Nicholas when you are in Rhodes.!

I booked two day tours with Rhodes Taxi Tours and was very happy with both. There was flexibility in terms of putting the itinerary together, I had enough time to visit the different sights, and overall everything was well planned. I had a great driver who gave me a lot of information about the island and very quickly understood what I was interested in, so both days were great. He was also very pleasant to be with and we had good discussions. I highly recommend booking with this company.
Nikolaus picked us up right on time and made us feel very comfortable. His presentation/knowledge of the sites he was showing us was perfect, very basic and just what we needed. He was very good and patient at answering the many questions we had for him. He made a stop at a road side kiosk to better answer some f our questions about olives and had us try some different kinds. Lunch along the ocean was a nice finishing touch for the tour. We really enjoyed Lindos, but more time would have been nice in order to walk up to the Acropolis. Overall a fantastic day and if you have Nikolaus as a driver you are in for a great day!
My family group of 5 took two very comfortable Mercedes Sedan cars with drivers for a full day Rhodes Island tour. Our drivers were Nicolas and Dimetri were awesome. The met us promptly at our cruise dock and got us into the old town medieval early and took us to many spots before they close this to traffic. We went all over the island of Rhodes and saw sights that most miss. For most of the major tourist sites we went to they got us there before the crowds which was much appreciated. We ended at a traditional Taverna and had the lunch of a lifetime at the top of a cliff under a vine and tree covered canopy with homemade everything. My family group loved this tour and I would recommend it to all.

Mr Nikos took my husband, our two teen boys and me on a fantastic tour of the island. He was kind enough to customize the tour to hit some of the spots my husband and I enjoyed on our honeymoon 19 years ago. So wonderful to share our fond memories with our children. He picked us up at the cruise port right on time, took us on a route to avoid as many bus tours as possible, and answered every possible question we could have asked. He also took us for a fantastic lunch and view to Haraki Bay Cafe. We look forward to making it back to Rhodes sooner than 19 years next time, and using Rhodes Taxi Tours for all of our needs. (P.S. My parents have also used Rhodes Taxi Tours multiple times and been very happy with the service. After meeting Mr Nikos I can understand why.)
Very professional but friendly tour from the first correspondence with lovely Elli in the office to the drivers that drove us around the Island. They were full of information and passionate about Rhodes and very good at driving and showing us what we had asked to see on our particular tour. The cars were well maintained and air conditioned which was great. We found this tour to be a very pleasant experience which showed us places that only the locals would be able to explain and show the way our drivers did being a little flexible along the way. A highlight to our holiday and a great way to do a trip as everything ran smoothly thanks to our very courteous and thoughtful drivers (we had 2 cars due to amount of people in our party).
I would highly recommend this. We had a fantastic driver who spoke to us all the way around the island and we got loads of information about the history and saw some fantastic views. Would definitely do it again
We had a wonderful day with Kostas. He is a great driver and told us a lot and took us to the most important points around Rhodes. We always had enough time to look at everything in peace. We loved the fact that he let us out at the "top" of the butterfly valley, so we just had to go downhill ;) That was much easier than if you had to climb everything up. A good conclusion was eating in a tarvern. The view of the bay was amazing. We can only recommend this tour. FYI: This is a "taxi driver" who tells / explains everything to you while driving, the Acropolis etc. you look at alone. We loved this combination. Thank you very much dear Kostas.
