We were also traveling with my 86-year-old mother, and Aga was incredibly kind, patient, and attentive to her throughout the day. We had a wonderful trip with Agapimenos. I was with my mum and dad who can’t walk very far. He was so caring helping my dad out of the car at every stop and had amazing knowledge. It was a thiroughly enjoyable way to start our holiday! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Our half-day tour to Lindos was just what I was looking for. It was great to get out of Rhodes City for awhile and be around the olive trees and forests. Lindos was beautiful as expected, and was extra great because our guide Nicholas made sure we got ahead of a big tour bus we saw heading the same way. We had the acropolis nearly all to ourselves for at least half an hour, which was fantastic. We mixed our tour with what they typically offer and cut a couple things and added another stop we were interested in, and Nicholas knew just the best way to do it. He's very knowledgeable and fun and passionate about Rhodes - just what you want in a guide. We learned a lot and had a great time.

Nikolas showed us all over the island and was the consummate host. He asked about our needs and wants and made sure he met each and every one. It was an incredible day on a lovely island. My niece lost her earring during the day and Nikos incredibly was called a few hours later by someone who knew someone else who knew he had been looking for something that was lost and she got it back! It would not have happened if not for Nikos and his familiarity with so many on the island. It made our day even better, if that was possible. We saw all of the sites, had a fabulous fresh fish lunch, and were able to get some local pottery to take home. The last thing I'll mention is Nikos' attention to detail. The third in our group is handicapped and needs assistance. Nikos made sure she was always cared for and when she chose to stay in the car he took her for a coffee. Now that is a wonderful host. We very much appreciated his time, kindness, and care while visiting Rhodes. We highly recommend Nikolas as a guide.

Our driver, Vasilis, met us at the ship and took us on a 5 hour tour of Rhodes in an S Class Mercedes. His English was excellent as he told us about the history of Rhodes and what life in Rhodes is currently like. We stopped at many beautiful spots for photos. We went to the Acropolis of Lindos. We asked to be dropped off at a local restaurant before returning to the cruise ship.

Our tour guide Nichollas was amazing! Traveling in Rhodes in January is definitely the off-season. We were having a hard time finding a guide to take us to Lindos until we found Nicholas. It was the best thing we could’ve done. He not only took us to Lindos, but also took us to several other historic places and an out-of-the-way shrine that we would’ve never found ourselves. Plus he called a ceramic store to see if we could stop and watch how ceramics were made. He was closed but let us come watch and buy a beautiful plate. Stopped at a fruit stand had a most delicious orange Thanks to Nichollas. He really made our trip.

We stayed in Rhodes in January. So it definitely was the off, off season. We wanted to go to Lindos but did not feel comfortable renting a car. After much searching we found a private tour on Viator. Couldn’t be happier! Nicholas was amazing. He just didn’t take us to Lindos but to several other historic sights including an out of the way shrine we would never have found ourselves. We stopped at a fruit stand had fresh oranges - that were delicious. He gave us his number just in case we needed anything while we were in Rhodes. He made our trip. As a side note January in Rhodes is a ghost town. If you like shopping this is not a good time. However if you want to see all the sights without all the crowds it was Perfect!

Our guide, Christopher, provided an excellent tour of Rhodes. He was very knowledgeable and professional. We particularly appreciated that he was flexible in customizing the tour to our preferences. My husband has mobility issues and Christopher was very accommodating and helpful. We also appreciated the clear communication before the tour so that we knew exactly where and how we would be met. Rhodes is a lovely island and I would absolutely recommend this tour and guide for a most enjoyable experience.

Requested a custom tour as we have visited Rhodes before. Got a prompt response from Ellie and after a few emails the trip was arranged. Picked up by Aga at our hotel we had a most enjoyable and informative seven hour tour. Aga was great company and very knowledgeable, providing excellent counsel on our best options. He topped it all with an excellent recommendation for lunch. A local fish taverna on the sea front with a beautiful outlook , lovely food and excellent hospitality. Thoroughly recommend and would definitely use again

Aga was an awesome tour guide. He definitely knows the history and the importance of all the different things and places we’ve visited. He made sure we were comfortable and was very attentive to our needs and wants. He took us to all the turista places and also some hidden gems 💎 that were not on the maps or schedules. Definitely recommend taking a tour with him to see and experience the best of Rhodes has to offer.

This was great experience! Our driver Ava met us early morning at the port and we drove first to see the highlights of Rhodes . We stopped for a fantastic panoramic view where we made some great photos. After we drove towards the absolutely amazing village of Lindos. We love old town. Great tour of Rhodes! We had a time crunch and Aga was great! He showed us all the sites, was very punctual, gave us free time to enjoy the sites and kept the kids engaged. Win win. Def would recommend.

We were collected in a lovely Mercedes that was very comfortably furnished with bucket seat a table and wooden flooring .Our guide was Visiis who gave us a wealth of knowledge concerning Rhodes, its history, the buildings and the symbology within the archeitecture. At every stage we were both informed and entertained. I had asked for the lunch stop to take place at a seafood restaraunt. Again Visilis did not disappoint ,and the beachside restaraunt which had opened in 1974 served us a wonderful meal that ewe will always remember. This trip was 5 star from start to finish .

We echo previous reviews of touring with Nicolas. It was a beautiful day and Nicolas was very knowledgeable of the island’s history. And very accommodating. Thanks for amazing day!

Although the communications at the start of my enquiries were a little confusing, Ellie always answered my questions quickly and assured me that the trip was booked even though no funds passed hands prior to the tour. Niko, our driver, was fantastic! He told us a lot about the island and the attractions we were going to see and left us off as close as possible to the path for the Lindos Acropolis, our primary destination. He also made sure we went to the Acropolis first thing in the morning in order to avoid the group tour crowds that we ended up passing as we returned to the car mid-morning. We also managed to go by several other attractions despite needing to go from one side of the island to the other. I highly recommend Rhodes Taxi Tours for informative, reliable private tours of Rhodes, and I especially recommend Niko as the driver!

This was one of the best tours I’ve taken! Niko was FANTASTIC probably one of the top 3 tour guides I’ve experienced. We learned so much about Rhodes, he took us to great spots for photos and we absolutely loved the stops long the way to lindos where we were able to buy local jewelry, olive oil and handmade pottery. Highly recommend!

Our guide, Aga, was wonderful. He was very knowledgeable about Rhodes' history and insightful about its relevance to geopolitical issues. He also creatively accomodated a member of our small group who was unable to navigate walking through Lindos.

This tour with Nicolas was absolutely amazing! The van was pristine and so comfortable. He gave us so much information but he seemed to be able to read our personalities and changed based on what he thought we would like. We have taken many tours with other tour companies but this one was by far the best. Our tour started at the cruise port where Nicolas picked us up. It was just me and my husband. Nicolas had a sign with our names and was actually 30 minutes early. He gave us so much information on the history of Rhodes and stopped at points of interest for pictures always making sure to take pictures of us. Lindos is BEAUTIFUL! He drops you off and gives you time to wander or to visit the Acropolis. The acropolis is definitely worth the walk. On our way back to the port he stopped by a local honey and produce stand where he bought fresh oranges and peeled them and shared them with us. This was a simple act but was very special and really was a nice touch. We arrived back to the cruise port where Nicolas treated us like family. He made sure that we were comfortable with directions and even gave us his card and told us to call him if we had any problems. I wish I could rate him higher than 5 stars!! We had the absolute best day with our driver Vasilis!! He took us to all the major sites on the island and his enthusiasm and personality really made us feel at home. He went above and beyond, and even found us a roadside wine and olive oils tasting stand that was incredible. We would love to come back to Rhodes, and if we ever do, we will definitely request Visalia as our guide!

Vasilis arrived early and was way more than just a driver. He was knowledgable about Rhodes, great sense of humor, and a safe driver for our family. He, along with his team, curated an itinerary for us that was up to what we wanted to do and see. He was flexible and adaptable to what the day brought and able to provide us with the best experience in Rhodes. I highly recommend booking with Vasili and we will definitely use him the next time we are in Rhodes! It ended up being our favorite island, and I know a lot of it had to do with the sense of safety and ease this company and Vasili brought to us!

This tour was superb, we saw Rhodes and Lindos and the driver Vasilis was very knowledgable and was able to give us flexibility to see more of the old town and still complete the tour on time. The van was luxurious with good air con and cold water so we were relaxed and hydrated. We would recommend this tour as despite only 5 hours was ample time to see everything we needed to on the island.

You won’t be disappointed with this tour. The owner Niko does great with communication and keeping you up to date on everything you need prior to the tour. Our driver Agapitos Kara was hands down the best guide we have had. Not only is he knowledgeable of the history and area, he is just an overall great human being that strives to make your experience excellent. We saw all the sites and winded down at a beach club called Tulum owned by a friend of our driver and we had an incredible time. Food and drinks were great and the hospitality we received was top notch. We even got to meet the owner Niko who again is just an incredible person. Bottom line- this is the only tour you want to take. It made our day.

This was the best tour of our trip. We thoroughly enjoyed our driver. He was local to the island but his English was perfect. We enjoyed lunch that he suggested at the fish place. If he takes you there you will not be disappointed. We had fish, potatoes that were grown from their garden and the best Greek salad we had the entire trip. It was amazing. Everything was perfect.

Aga from Rhodes Taxi Tours was a fabulous guide and shared his knowledge and love of his home throughout our time together. He took us off the beaten track to get a sense of how the locals live as well as to the key tourist attractions. Aga was able to adjust the tour to meet our needs and he facilitated all mobility challenges that we faced. Definitely a highlight of our trip to the Greek Islands.

Highly recommend Gus and this Best of Rhodes private tour! Gus was a great guide - knowledgeable, friendly, personable. It's nice to break away from the larger tour groups to have a private guided tour - so much more can be seen in a day and you get a better feel for the local flavor of the island. Gus was also thoughtful and interesting. You can't go wrong with this tour. Also, due to weather our cruise ship had to make a change in itinerary. Gus reached out to us to reschedule our tour date before the ship notified us of the change! Top notch service, top notch day in Rhodes!

Driver was good but more of a taxi driver than a guide. We stopped at several nice viewpoints and then Lindos. In Lindos he just dropped us off and then said to meet him in 1 1/2 hours.

What a wonderful experience with Nickos! Picked up exactly on time in a lovely Mercedes, we chatted away and my 5yr old daughter was put completely at ease! The historical knowledge was absolutely amazing and Nickos listen to wee details like my daughter was hungry, he spontaneously stopped and nipped into a shop to get some water and a wee treat! We told him of our love of food and he took us to an amazing local produce shop to get some wares and then continued on our tour! My wee girl adored him as did we and this is an experience I would highly recommend! Worth every penny for a personalised private tour xx

Excellent and knowledgeable driver/guide. Beautiful scenery and so much history! We had already done a walking tour of Rhodes, and this excursion was a perfect compliment to that.

We were picked up right at the cruise ship and whisked off to see the beautiful sites of Rhodes. We had a fantastic lunch sea side and lovely swim in a beautiful bay. We met many wonderful locals and bought beautiful pottery from a lovely family with a sweet French bulldog. Could not have asked for a better day.

Our guide Nicolas was knowledgeable and so flexible. We had 2 people with limited walking ability. He was so patient with our situation. He chose a restaurant for us that served the freshest seafood. It was amazing.

Met from our Cruise Ship by Nico who rapidly became a friend. His love of his native island was evident in every stop we made and the chats we had, we learned so much. All four of us had a fantastic day in the company of this delightful man, even the downpour at Lindos did not dampen our spirits! What a fabulous day we had with Nicholas, from our greeting by the ship to our farewells outside the Old Town, it was brilliant. Not only did we get to see a lot of the island and some of the best sites ( and sights!) but it was fascinating to talk to such an enthusiastic islander. Our journey to Lindos was full of stories of Nicholas's life and "Grandpappy's weather forecasting". If ever we return to Rhodes we'll be sure to get in touch, can't recommend this enough! We had a tour today with Nicholas and it was wonderful. We learnt so much local knowledge about the island of Rhodes. We felt like we’d known him forever and would highly recommend his guidance for your visit to Rhodes.

My wife, girls, and I had a wonderful day with Nicolas seeing the beautiful island of Rhodes. Nicolas treated us like family by not only showing us the highlights, but also sharing with us the wonderful Greek culture and hospitality. We visited a local pottery maker, an olive oil/wine merchant, and as a highlight, had a delicious seafood lunch on the water near Nicolas’s village. Thank you for treating us so well!

BEST TOUR IN RHODES - Great experince from the very start when our private driver met us at the port. We enter the luxury and fully air-conditioned car and started our trip to see all the beauty of this gorgeous island. We also had a stop at a fab tavern on the sea edge. The best way to start this review is to thank Ellie in the office for helping our planning this tour as I have a walking disability. Special thanks for Nicholas our driver for all the special care he provided for helping me at all places we visited. The large Mercedes made it very comfortable and easy for getting in and out many times. The tour was brilliant visiting all the highlights of Rhodes and we included a number of beautiful small places returning to Rhodes town from Lindos on the east coast which I guess were not normally included on this tour. Nicholas was knowledgeable and so enthusiastic about his heritage which completely sold us wanting to return. When he picked us up by our Cruise ship he said we meet as strangers but he hoped we would depart “as friends”. We did!
