Overall, the hotel was nice, the rooms modern, with a good AC, a nice balcony, nice breakfast but not something impressive. I'm tired of small rooms, with bathrooms with no doors, just a glass door for design. Also no proper ventilation. Besides this the closet was Incredibly small, and no other drawers or anything in the room just a plain small table and a plain desk. It's a good looking room, but not 5-star.

HORRIBLE & UNHYGIENIC !!!!! I went for honeymoon and all was catastrophic!!! The room was smelling like mold, the A/C was not working some times, when we were flashing the toilet the water was coming out to us (terrible), the water in the sink was not going down even if we took out the stopper, all the room filters full of dust and mold, breakfast: IS NOT EVEN FOR 1 star hotel!!!! Shower room: without towels, without hairdryer and etc ! Swimming pool: 0!!! I’ve asked also for a double bed since I went for honeymoon there and they gave me a twin room! Except the location nothing else is good ! This hotel does not deserve even 1 star hotel to be!!!!!
We recently stayed at the Mediterranean Hotel in Rhodes, Greece, and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The hotel was immaculate, with spotless rooms and beautifully maintained facilities throughout. The location is unbeatable—directly opposite Elli Beach and within easy walking distance of the casino, the port, Rhodes Old Town, the New Town, and many of the island's main attractions. It really is the perfect base for exploring Rhodes. What made our stay even more memorable was the exceptional service. Every member of staff was warm, friendly, and welcoming, always greeting us with a smile. A special thank you goes to Nectarios at the front desk, who went above and beyond to make our holiday even more special. His professionalism, kindness, and willingness to help with anything we needed truly stood out. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and would highly recommend the Mediterranean Hotel to anyone visiting Rhodes. We look forward to returning in the future!
The room was small, the wardrobe was too small and the bathroom was very small. The shower was basically inside the room and made of glass. The bathroom door was also made of glass and I could not close it very well. We also had ants in the room. This is not what I expected from a 5 start hotel. The staff members were nice.
Recently renovated, with the exception of the basement common areas, which still resemble the old hotel. The renovation does not seem to have been carried out with the best materials and shows several flaws. Personally, I did not like the decoration, especially the dark green color behind the bed, nor the glass door in the bathroom and shower. The rooms are small and not suitable for working, as there is not enough space. Two single beds have been joined into one, with a mattress topper that is not particularly comfortable. The breakfast and buffet are quite limited compared to previous years. There were several instances where plates and glasses, and cutlery had a strong egg odor. The staff was polite. Prices for coffee and other bar products are overpriced. The hotel accommodates school groups, which results in overcrowding and disturbance, especially during breakfast hours. On the positive side, the location is excellent, situated on one of the best beaches on the island and very close to the town. Overall, this is no way a 5-star hotel; it is unclear how it was rated as such.
