Marieke is really kindly and has much patient, she changed the schedule to blue lagoon and golden circle, it lets this tour perfect. Today’s weather is also good to every where, unfortunately my phone cannot take the beautiful as sight.

The volcano tour with Vjeran was amazing!! He took extra time and car to show the group additional sites of interest, he knew where all the best photo spots were and was SO very knowledgeable about everything Iceland. What a pretty day for a first day in Iceland...I got to the hotel at 2.30 am and at 08.00 I was already waiting for the bus...I thought I couldn't make it...but oh my God...I didn't even had time to be tired...Vjeran, our guide was amazing, so nice and funny and warm hearted 💕! We did a great hiking up to the top of the volcano and then I got to experience the Blue Lagoon 💙! He made sure that I was all settled and went with me even to the Lobby to make sure that I had all in order! Thank you so much, I was very lucky to have him for my welcome experience in Iceland!!? 💕

Toby Omar’s son, was an excellent tour guide on this tour. I would highly recommend him as he was very knowledgeable and friendly. He introduced us to some wonderful Icelandic music as well. All in all, BusTravel has been fantastic!

You will hike for a bit so be sure to wear good shoes and layers. The views to see the lava spots are amazing. You see where it came from and how it traveled. We also stopped at a small town/village where a lava spot came out that made part of the area abandoned. The blue lagoon was amazing. Soak your body in the waters and did the face mask. This is a must should you come to Iceland. Our tour guide Peter was very polite, informative and a pleasant person to lead our group.

Great tour! The volcanic eruption site was very interesting to see, and the Blue Lagoon was the perfect way to relax afterward. Our guide was very professional and shared a lot of interesting information about Iceland, its volcanoes, and local culture throughout the trip. Highly recommended!

The volcano hike was really cool and intresting! The blue lagoon was cool and we had a good amount of time at both! Also our tour guide took us to more stops listed which was my favorite part! The price was fair. Our tour guide Denis made the trip amazing! He Always offered to take pictures, told us about the landscape and everything and was very funny!

Our guide was wonderful he really made our trip to the volcanic eruption site truly memorable and so fascinating. The whole trip was smooth and on time our guide was so informative about everything Iceland he was also a very nice person and super friendly. The Blue Lagoon was amazing but I think for me when I next visit Iceland I would like to visit more natural springs with much less people but it was an amazing experience which I’m glad I did.

Vjeran and yarik were great! We had a great time and learned so much about lava, and had plenty of time to also relax in Blue Lagoon. It was a great day. We appreciated having plenty of time for photos (and having Vjeran as a photographer!)

Hiking the volcano was an incredible experience and one of the coolest things I’ve ever done in my life. Roman was a great guide, and he shared his videos of the eruptions in the sites we visited, which really brought it to life. I am glad I visited the Blue Lagoon, but I preferred other less commercialized hot springs that I visited elsewhere.

Such a unique experience! The hike was somewhere between easy and moderate, depending on your activity level. There were parts that were steeper, but they are relatively short. Our group had a range of ages and activity levels, and everyone was able to complete the whole thing. Proper footwear is a must and especially a shoe with ankle support if possible. Hler was an excellent guide!!! It is clear how much he loves his job and that makes it so fun to listen to him. I learned a lot about the volcano and about Iceland more generally. The blue lagoon after was really nice after a morning of hiking!

It was a really fun trip. The driver( VJERAN )was really nice and enthusiastic. I’m really enjoying the trip and the places we’re visiting, and he made sure to keep both groups on track during our volcano hike（almost 3 hours )

We had a great day hiking up to the new lava fields, even though the volcano was not erupting. Dress in warm, sturdy clothes and have rain gear/hiking boots or trail sneakers (no slip on Birks etc!). Our hike wasn’t windy but it did rain and I was glad to have an umbrella and poncho. Our guide set a quick pace up the mountain so we could enjoy more time at the lava fields, but this would be a struggle for anyone who is not particularly active. The lava fields were incredible and we saw steam rising from vents and felt the warmth emanating from the ground. Truly amazing! We ate lunch in nearby Grindavik (which was almost destroyed by a lava flow a few years ago; only 100 of the original 3000 residents have returned.) After our vigilance hike, a trip to the Blue Lagoon spa offered a much needed rest. It was quite busy but our guide quickly checked us in for a 2.5 hour visit. This was a good amount of time to relax in the milky blue waters, enjoy an included non-alcoholic drink, and take lots of pictures. I had brought a waterproof phone pouch from home and was very glad to have it since the ones for sale at the spa were quite expensive. If you don’t have a waterproof pouch I wouldn’t take your phone into the lagoon! Also, we were cautioned not to wet our hair, wear jewelry, rx or expensive glasses in the lagoon since the minerals could damage them. I really enjoyed this trip and would recommend it to anyone who is ready for a tough hike and some relaxation afterwards!

It was an amazing trip combining some easy hike (1,5h one way, 1h back) to viewpoints of the recent volcano eruption sites, Seltún hot spring, Grindavik, and around 3h in the Blue Lagoon. We started around 8am and ended around 17:00 in Reykjavik. Our driver and guide Vjeran did a wonderful job, beyond and above his roles. He even made extra stops (Grindavik) as we had extra time after the hike, and shared detailed knowledge of the sites e.g. history, geology, recent events etc. Vjeran is such a witty, personable and knowledgeable guide that made our trip extra memorable.

Vjeran is a wonderful guide, taking care of the whole team (and taking good pictures 😃). Hiking in the morning with hot springs in the afternoon is just fabulous combos!

We had an absolutely amazing experience on the Iceland Volcano Hiking & Blue Lagoon Hot Spring Tour! A huge part of what made this tour so special was our guide, Alain. He is incredible — extremely knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about Iceland’s geology and history. Alain provided excellent guidance while showing us around the lava field, making sure everyone felt safe and comfortable while also sharing fascinating insights about the volcanic landscape. He explained everything in a way that was both informative and easy to understand, which made the experience even more memorable.

This is a trip of 2 halves. Volcano hike was amazing with lots of information and fun facts from our superb guide, Toby. He definitely made this trip one to remember. He kept the group together and kept on schedule. We were lucky with the weather, so had superb views. We had over 2 hours in the blue lagoon. This also was a good experience I will definitely recommend this trip and superb guide. If in doubt, get it booked.

I had an amazing experience! On the way to the volcano hike we stopped at Lake Kleifarvatn and Selten for some incredible pictures. The hike itself was so cool, it wasn't too steep, and when we reached the volcano we were able to explore the lava fields (albeit carefully, as some of those areas crumbled under your feet). And the Blue Lagoon was everything you could expect; there were lots of people there but it didn't feel overcrowded, there were steam rooms and saunas to check out, health smoothies alongside alcoholic drinks at the bar, and best of all, swimsuit dryers in the ladies' room. Our guide had good tips for the trip, we spent an ample amount of time at each location, and the entire day was worth the amount paid. Definitely worth doing!

The hike was a lot more difficult than I anticipated and I am used to long hikes. Its the terrain itself that’s tricky. I felt like I was training to be a mountain goat lol. If you catch it on a windy day like I did, be prepared! The icelandic winds are no joke even on a day when they are considered mild like I had. The sights are incredible, the guide is lovely, truly his personality was a gem of the day. Also, they stop for lunch on the hike, so pack something with you if you’d like to eat as there are not other opportunities until you reach the blue lagoon. The blue lagoon is a welcome treat for soaking. It’s very commercialized though.

This was a great trip. Our guide Toby was very friendly and knowledgeable. We went to a beautiful viewpoint as the sun rose over the mountains, which was a highlight. It was very misty and snowing when we got into the Blue Lagoon but this made it a rather magical experience. I'd highly recommend this tour to anyone who fancies a bit of exercise before a soak in the warm lagoon.

I’ve joined many day tours, and Alain is the best guide I’ve ever had. He is extremely attentive and takes great care of everyone in the group. He is also very knowledgeable and explains everything in great detail. This tour even allows you to walk on a volcano, which makes it a truly amazing experience. I’m very grateful that I joined this tour and would highly recommend it.

It is definitely one of my favorite tours in Iceland, which combined beautiful landscape hiking and wonderful blue lagoon to relax later. Our tour guide is cool and knowledgeable also. Definitely recommended if you like hiking also, instead of jumping in different tourist spots, this tour allow you to really walk a few hours inside the amazing nature, and really feel the special landscape of Iceland.

A wonderful experience! Our tour guide, Alain, was an absolute gem. He was very knowledgable about Iceland and the history behind the volcanoes. Overall a very kind and friendly fella! The tour itself was an ideal day for me. The hike lasted around 3 hours, and it included both flat and steep paths. As a beginning hiker, it wasn’t too bad! After the hike, I was able to relax at the famous blue lagoon! 10/10 would recommend this tour!

Yesterday we received a WhatsApp message from Bus Travel Iceland saying today’s hike was all going ahead as planned…we got a taxi to the pick up point only to stand for 40 minutes in the rain! When we rang we were to had the hike was cancelled!! 😡 which is understandable due to weather conditions but why no WhatsApp message to inform us that it was cancelled?!😡 They obviously had our details but communication was DIRE!!!😡

Wow what an amazing day! From the start our guide Hler was so engaging, interesting and knowledgeable. There a few stops before the hike including hot springs which was great to see. The volcano hike was brilliant with so many amazing stops and photo opportunities. Walking across a lava field still smoking was awe inspiring. After a hike in the freezing cold, the blue lagoon to end the day was just perfect. Free mud masks and drink! It was lovely. On the way home Hler gave us a history of Iceland it was great we could’ve listened to him all day. Thank you for an brilliant day!
