Tailor-made Golden Circle Tour – Private & Fully Customizable

Had an amazing time on our private tour of the Golden Circle! I was apprehensive about booking at first as we had to pay in full several months prior to our tour but everything worked out well. We did not have the usual pick up from Reykavik and not many tour companies could accommodate this. East West Tours was quick in answering questions and communication a few days prior to our tour was well received. Gon, our guide met us in the lobby of our hotel and immediately we felt we were in good hands for the day. Our vehicle was spacious and comfy with wifi and water included. We stopped by the usual stops but the highlights were the special secret stops with no one else around. The ice cream stop is a MUST and Gon suggested we line up first before the bus tour arrived shortly after us. We requested a cozy lunch spot. Had a fantastic lunch at a family run restaurant, Mika and also bought their home made chocolates to bring home as gifts. Gon was knowledgeable about the different sights and told us little tidbits throughout our drive. A bonus was we saw 2 double rainbows on the drive back. We really appreciated how he was attentive to our needs; checking up on us to see if we were hungry to stop for lunch or bathroom breaks. He also updated us on how long the drive would be before our next stops. We would highly recommend booking a tour with East West tours!

This was a phenomenal tour with all the major stops on the golden circle. Simon was a well informed guide, safe driver and knew all the special tricks to make the tour special. Simon even threw in a stop at a dairy farm where we were able to enjoy some incredible ice cream. Everything was perfect and I would totally recommend this tour with EastWest and Simon.

This tour was a fantastic experience. If you only have one day to see Iceland, this is THE tour. From the start, Aldan was informative and considerate of our preferences and needs. With his guidance we were able to create a perfect day to see everything we wanted in our time allotted. During the drive, Aldan entertained us with tales of living in Iceland, its history and modern customs.

We booked a private Golden Circle tour for June 19 for our group of 7. Our guide was Einar. He was awesome. We were picked up at our apartment in Reykjavik and had the best day. My mom has mobility issues - she uses a transport wheelchair when she cannot walk far. Einar was very kind and attentive to her needs making sure she saw so much. He was the best guide that we had the entire trip! Beautiful scenery with a stop for lunch at the tomato farm plus the ice cream at the dairy farm. You cannot go wrong with EastWest !

If you’re looking for a private tour of the Golden Circle, I highly recommend EastWest. Not the cheapest but you definitely get what you pay for. Our driver/guide Leroy was excellent from pick up to drop off. The day was fully customisable to our needs and there were no time limits at each site. 10/10

My husband and I had a fabulous time on our private Golden Circle tour with Smari. We were able to travel on our own timetable and had the flexibility to add stops as we wanted. Smari was an amazing guide; he was very personable and fun to travel with which made the tour all the more enjoyable. The lunch at Frioheimar tomato farm was a highlight as well and should not be missed.

My family of 11 had a wonderful experience with Eastwest tours! We did a private tour of Golden Circle plus a visit to the Secret Lagoon. Our tour guide, Einar, was absolutely wonderful. Incredibly knowledgeable and patient, and went out of his way to ensure we had the best day. I would highly recommend Eastwest! All their communication was fast and helpful, the bus was nice quality, and the actual day was filled with activities and sights and was very thoughtfully planned.

Our guide Leroy has made the difference! He has made the trip at once fun and educational.

We had a fantastic golden circle private tour with Atli as our guide. It was wonderful to have an Icelander as our tour guide and he was incredibly knowledgeable, witty, and very patient and kind to our young children. The whole experience felt safe and pleasant. He took wonderful pictures and shared these photos to us for free, so we could focus on enjoying the time with our family and not taking photos.

Great Tour Martin our Guide /driver was full of information and very friendly. We had given the tour company a rough itinerary for the day in Reykjavik from our Cruise ship to the airport. He made sure we saw want wanted and added a viewing of the Volcano in the distance. Great Day Great service. Picked us up On time and got to the airport when we wanted.

Awesome experience, totally recommendable for everyone who wants to visit a the golden circle and a lagoon. The tour was that great mostly because the tour guide, Julien, who knows a lot about Iceland and always was very kind and friendly

We loved this tour. Fortunately we were only 3 couples on the tour, which made the trip even more interesting and personalised. We got the chance to talk to the guide a lot and get to know him better. He was really well informed and very friendly. The tour is worth the money, since we would not have been unable to drive a car with the weather conditions. We really enjoyed the walk in the National Park even though we were cought by a little snow strom in the middle, we saw the geysers and the amazing frozen waterfall. We could not enjoy the crater very much since it was super windy and cold but it was worth seeing. We went to the tomato farm, we found it really interesting and the tomato soup was delicious. Eventhough we found it super expensive for a tomato soup menu. I think taking the group to the tomato farm is a good idea for people to see how Icelandic people grow vegetables, but they should not booked a table and force people to have that expensive menu if they do not want to.

It was a fabulous trip and our guide was very knowledgeable. The only thing we did not like was the visit to the tomato farm as it was a complete rip off. Very expensive for what we got. Lost my good glove 🥺💔

Excellent trip, well worth the money, saw active geyser, waterfalls, crater & had a fabulous lunch at a tomato farm ( not too good if you don’t like tomatoes in any form!) & had a stop at a farm selling their home made ice cream, delicious! Very informative driver & gave us plenty of time to visit each site.

We booked the Classic Golden circle tour but due to the weather the company decided to combine it with a tour that had been cancelled the day before. This meant that the "small party" minibus was absolutely packed. It also meant trips we hadn't chosen to a dairy farm and also a tomato greenhouse. As a result we were rushed through a stunning world heritage site (25 minutes) to get to a tomato greenhouse with tables set for dinner. After being asked to order from a tomato-based menu we were then presented with a bill for £60 for 4 tomato soups and bread! On the other hand we got a short free bonus visit to a crater that we hadn't booked. Sven was a funny and informed guide despite the merger of 2 groups.
