Each stop timing was too short, literally was running to catch the bus, the guide however is great

Northern Lights we were able to change to night that was not cloudy. Daniel was GREAT!!! Was able to find them rather quickly. He had years of experience and that was helpful. Got beautiful pictures. Anna was guide for daytime adventure. She was able to work around the rain so we did not get soaked. She was very informative and was able to teach some Icelandic terms. She was WONDERFUL!!!
The tour was wonderful and Anna, our guide was great. She had lots of information to share on the trip about each of the sites.
Saga was an excellent guide. She was terrific at explaining what we were seeing, the history, as well as some of the folklore. I’d recommend her highly to anyone wanting to take this tour.
Saga was a great guide! Great info and kept the tour interesting! Best tour guide we’ve ever had on any tour and we’ve done a lot of them!
We done the small group southern Iceland tour today, it was such an incredible experience! Our tour guide Siggi was amazing he was so knowledgeable and funny, we even got the opportunity to see some puffins! I would definitely recommend doing this tour!
Wonderful day trip to the highlights of South Iceland, including gorgeous waterfalls and the stunning black beach. Vieran was a great host, both entertaining and educating us along the way. Super trip, easily recommended.
Iceland’s scenery is so unique to have to keep reminding yourself that, no, you didn’t arrive here in a spacecraft but on a A321 from LHR! Wonderful and varied scenery from volcanic mountains to lava valleys to glaciers and waterfalls to dramatic coasts, black sand beaches and volcanic islands. It’s a long tour to Vik and back, but worth it. Eva from BusTravel Iceland was terrific. We also had the Northern Lights tour the same evening which was a bit too tiring to be honest, but weather opportunity required this. We were lucky enough to see the Aurora eventually that night just to cap off a great day off.
Our guide, Giuseppe, was so knowledgeable about volcanoes and very helpful throughout the entire tour.
Wow! Incredible day with an even better night. The guides and drivers were all phenomenal. I took in all the sites with ample time and learned fun facts and folklore in the process.
Barbara great tour guide enthusiastic and looked after the group well explaining any questions. Sites were amazing and good length of time given. Enjoyed the scenic driver. Driver was smooth and experienced.
Very disappointing experience. The guide talked nonstop, to the point where multiple people complained. I skipped the second part of the tour and felt I wasted an entire day. I’ve been on over 60 Viator tours worldwide, and this was easily one of the worst. Concerns were raised but seemed to be ignored. The driver was great.
We had a great experience on this tour! The South Coast trip was well-organized, and the communication from the tour company was excellent and up to date. We really enjoyed the beautiful sights and the smooth itinerary. The Northern Lights portion was also a special experience. However, the only downside was that we wanted to switch our Northern Lights tour to an earlier day due to a better weather forecast, but unfortunately, the company did not allow it. They only offer rescheduling if the tour is canceled due to bad weather or if the lights aren’t visible. Overall, it was a memorable tour, and we appreciated the effort the team put into making it enjoyable. Just a bit more flexibility with weather-related changes would make it even better.
the rocks on the trail behind the waterfall are fairly slick and there is a pretty good spray. So make sure you wear some shoes with a non-slip sole. A waterproof coat and pair of pants helps. The glacier is a pretty good walk from the bus. If you want to walk all the way to the glacier you'll need to walk fairly quickly.
It was an absolutely awesome day, the guide Sarah during the day was fantastic and Daniel the aurora whisperer and the thory the bus driver took us to see the amazing auroras !!! We saw them, the last of the season!! I was really impressed buy their profissionalism and highly recommend this tour!!!
Nice trip to see the sights along southern Iceland including waterfalls, huge glacier, beach and great scenery. Jennifer was our excellent guide for the day.
Ritchie, the genius guide and Albert, the cool driver teamed up and delivered an awesome experience for the group of 60 plus people. The adjustment of the order of planned visiting sites based on the dynamic of the day resulted less crowds at sites. The engagement via WhatsApp provided much more information and allowed people sharing great photos during the trip. Ritchie went and stayed with the group at every site and took pictures for people. It’s really helpful and appreciated! Oh, the bonus site at the end of the day as a reward for people being on time is a fantastic idea and truly rewarding!
Fascinating sights and the guide Victoria was excellent, the driver was very careful and a good comfortable coach
The South Iceland trip was amazing, exhausting but, amazing and Noi was a brilliant guide. We passed through some stunning landscapes, saw 4 volcanos (active but thankfully not today) 3 glaciers, 2 waterfalls and went to the beach, albeit not the sort most of you would enjoy. The Skogafoss waterfall was our first stop. We had the option of viewing it from above but given that I'm terrified of heights and the viewing platform was 570 steps up, I decided to view it's majesty from below 😂 The solheimajokull glacier up next. There was a bit of a hike to see it, but it was to far for me. I was really struggling to breath in the wind so I headed back to the coach. I was so disappointed as I was looking forward to seeing it. We had lunch at a lovely little village called Vik and then back on the road to the Reynisfjara black sand beach. This was breathtaking not only in its raw beauty but literally, it took my breath away. We got caught up in a blizzard which meant that visibility was low and told that we had to be careful not to go too close to the waves as they were sneaky and very dangerous. I didn't need telling twice. The noise of the waves crashing on the beach was truly something to behold. Our final stop was to see the Seljalandsfoss waterfalls which where lit up. With the naked eye the water looked like it was falling from the sky as you couldn't differentiate between the 2. The lights gave it a really eerie quality, but that didn't take anything away from just how spectacular it was. I cannot tell you how impressed I was, and as I said Noi was just a fab guide. He was really knowledgeable, funny and was really keen to answer any and all questions. A couple of personal anecdotes made it even better. The weather was horrible but our driver Jon was magnificent. I would highly recommend you to take this trip. *we weren't able to do the Northern Lights part as the weather was horrible to say the least.
It was a long but a nice trip to Southern Iceland. We saw a lot of incredible things. Our stop for lunch was at a hotel. I must say, the served the best pesto pasta I’ve ever tasted in my life. We were aware that traveling in November would mean shorter daylight. It was a pity that we didn’t get a good look of the falls and Vik because it was dark on the way back. I hope they could adjust the itinerary for the winter time. Maybe change Vik as a first stop than a last stop. On the way home, we saw the Northern Lights. We were thankful for our guide who helped us took good photos of the Aurora.
I had an amazing experience with this tour from purchasing right to the end. From the beginning the customer service was absolutely amazing and I made a few requests in advance. They accommodated everything for me which allowed me to see as much as possible during my stay in Iceland. I really appreciated their customer support first and foremost then to the tour: Emily was amazing at chasing the northern lights, her knowledge allowed us to see something that I had on my bucket list for a very long time, As for the south coast tour that was also amazing, Carolina was our guide and she was very knowledgeable, she told us a lot of interesting stories about everything we saw on the way. Everything was amazing and I really recommend Bus Travel for tours in Iceland!
It was really nice, you get to ser the real Iceland. Beauriful views. Ritchie was great. Just be prepare for the cold weather.
Amazing tour, made some additional stops as it was lovely weather. There was a lot too see! Enough time at each site with plenty of refreshment stops. The tour guide and driver were lovely and shared interesting information along the tour. (Beggi and Mr T?) would 100% recommend this tour to all!
We really enjoyed the tour and especially enjoyed Dave, our tour guide, and V-slav (sorry, I didn’t quite catch his name), our driver. I liked the commentary Dave gave…interesting to hear from an Irishman so enamored by this beautiful country. This was good value, which seems to be hard to come by here! I would love to do this tour again in the summer. The falls, glacier, and black sand beach were impressive. The beach was my favorite! Pickup was easy, comfort stop was great, lunch in Vik was yummy. The only thing I would change is getting to spend more time in Vik, mainly to get a better photo of the little church on the hill.
Not good experience, the company just thinks about money, they do massive tours with lots of people and zero quality, the bus was very dirty and the Wi-Fi and charges were not working. We spent s lot of time waiting people come back to the buses in every stops, and the pick up meeting were a disaster since the company had more customers than seats and we spent so many time on the bus stop to figuring out what could they do. I really regretted to left my last day in Iceland with that company. The quality was too low compare with the previous companies tours that I have used days before in Iceland.
Fantastic tour. Of course mostly because we saw lights but a big part of it was the tour guide Victoria was very good and high energy. She really pushed driver Wieslaw (son of Hemrik) to go different places and he was very great to do so. She took pics for us, shared stories, creepy Christmas folklore and lullaby's popular in Iceland and ever went through naming children's and how names are made. We had four tours while here and these were the best guides and drivers out of all we did. Thank you so much!!!!! And what an awesome display of the lights!! Will treasure those pics for rest of our lives.
It was okay and the guide was friendly. I myself found the stops in between often too long and not really worth the money. I also thought it was a shame that I had paid extra to be dropped off at the hotel and that it wasn't possible on the return trip. Leek.
Very nice bus driver Juliana who took us around Iceland
A truly beautiful and interesting experience, we went from seeing breathtaking landscapes to feeling like children again as soon as we got on the bus for the stories and legends that our guide Elvar told us Absolutely recommended 👌🏻
Ottar was a fun guide and walked alongside us all day, explaining and always taking us forward
Awesome tour guide heidi and captin torr!! No real regrets. Aurora wasn't too good to see. Really recommend. So beautiful Iceland. I'll be back on my honeymoon.
The best course top top top south tour!!! It's a new nature... That every time you land a new place can be better than this? It means.
