Vjeran was a wonderful guide from the first minute we boarded his bus. He turned a group of strangers into friendly travelers. He took us to secret extra spots and gave us way more than our money’s worth. Thank you.Vieran!

Itinerary
South Iceland is renowned for its stunning landscapes and natural wonders. Highlights include the majestic waterfalls Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss, both offering breathtaking views and unique experiences, such as walking behind the cascading water of Seljalandsfoss. The region provides spectacular views of the Eyjafjallajökull volcano, known for its 2010 eruption.
We leave Vík and journey back west towards the capital, but not before two more essential South Coast hot-spots. First up is Skógafoss waterfall, a powerful natural wonder that leaves visitors awe-inspired. Cascading from a height of 60 meters and spanning a width of 25 meters, the powerful falls generate a constant mist, creating vibrant rainbows on sunny days. Framed by lush greenery and surrounded by dramatic cliffs, Skógafoss offers a breathtaking backdrop for nature enthusiasts and photographers alike. Accessible by a scenic staircase, the viewing platform at the top provides a stunning panorama of the waterfall and the surrounding landscapes, making Skógafoss a must-see destination for those exploring Iceland's spectacular scenery.
Vík is one of Iceland´s most picturesque villages. It sits on the wild southern coastline, and is surrounded by magnificent scenery, including black sand beaches and basalt sea stacks. Overlooking the village sits Vikurkikja church, which boasts a studenous view.
Our first stop of the day is the acclaimed Lava Show exhibition in Vík. The Lava Show uses basaltic tephra or black sand that was formed by real historic volcanic eruption on Iceland´s south coast. Super-heating this tephra in a purpose-built furnace returns it to its molten lava state. See real flowing lava in a safe and fun show where our passionate experts will deplain and demonstate the behaviour of lava.
Seljalandsfoss waterfall is one of Iceland´s enduring icons. Famed for its wonderous walking trail that allows visitors to walk behind the falls, Seljalandsfoss is an essential stop on any south coast tour. After our 45 minute stop here, we continue on our way back to the city.

An excellent day with our guide Kristi and driver . Very informative narration, beautiful scenery and interesting stops. We feel that we have seen so much of this beautiful country. Thank you.
We had an absolutely incredible 4-day tour with Vjeran! He was super friendly, kept our group smiling the entire time, and is a phenomenally talented photographer. He knew exactly how to capture the perfect, cinematic shots of our journey. Highly recommend him for an unforgettable experience!
Fabulous guide. Comfortable bus. Amazing sights. Highly recommend.
Even with some bad weather, the experience was still overall pretty fun and enjoyable. Petra was our tour guide, she was awesome, very sweet and she even played music for us :)
Our guide, Petra, was pleasant and engaging. She answered our questions about the tour sites and Iceland in general
We did the southern tour and saw two amazing waterfalls and the black beach. Gummii was a terrific guide, with extensive historical knowledge of Iceland and an amazing Icelandic playlist
There are a lot of fun, stunning scenes and memorable moments in this trip, I am so happy to join in the So-called UN by Sven, the best guide I ever met! Thank you so much, Sven, and also thank for our driver, and of course, the friendly and cute tour members, it is really an amazing experience!
I’m so happy to have an experience. I like the lava show. The last driver is so patient and have a lot of knowledge of for Iceland history.
Incredible scenery only matched by the professionalism of our Driver and Guide, Ottar.
We were placed on a bus that was very crowded. We were the last to be picked up. There were only two in my family group. We could not sit with each other for the entire 10 hour day. I sat in the middle back seat of the bus. I (female) sat between two men I didn’t know. I had to sit with my knees squeezed together and my arms crossed in front of me. There was no accommodation for change. It was very uncomfortable.
Extremely knowledgeable [BusTour Iceland] tour guide (aka Sharp), highlighting key facts, historical background, and photo opportunities. Obviously the highlight was the glacier lagoon, but what a surprise to eat the best fish and chips (no condiments required) from a food truck there!
My tour experience was amazing, full of activities, fun, i learn a lot of new things about Iceland!❤️ My tour guide Kristi and the driver Gregor were amazing, on time, funny, very polite and nice! The landscape were breathtaking, Iceland is so beautiful!
The tour was great locations and Denis was a fantastic guide and driver. He shared a ton of information on Iceland which was really interesting and kept everything very organized. Denis is a 5+ star guide
Great day out seeing an amazing array of Icelandic wonders. Svettlanna was a fabulous guide and helped make the day go smoothly and was really interesting and helpful
Andrea (guide) and Halli (driver) were fabulous hosts on a full day tour with interesting (awesome!) sights including boat tour through iceberg/glacial lagoon and walking behind and around a fearsome waterfall. Plenty of insightful, amusing and local information shared and warm and amusing personalities to accompany this (long but comfy!) bus tour. The views and feel for the real Iceland were second to none. Thoroughly recommended.
Great experience and even had time to squeeze in an extra waterfall
Howard was great! Probably one of the best tours we had and he was nice enough to add an additional waterfall to the trip
Everything went well, it happened to me. Check the opening hours, they are excellent, great service, they answer any questions right away, Kristi was an excellent guide. Totally recommended
Got put with another tour that were going to an ice cave. I was the only one going to the Lava show, which you can also see in Reykjavik. The two waterfalls were fantastic. The 4 hours not doing much in Vik alone was not good. The lava show only took about 40 mins. The rest of the time I was left to do my own thing. Lots of driving, not as much commentary from the tour guide as I’ve had on other tours but he was quite knowledgeable. Overall- quite a basic tour.
I had a very disappointing experience with BusTravel Iceland. I booked a full-day tour of South Iceland through Viator and paid extra for hotel pickup. I waited outside my hotel as instructed, but no one showed up. When I called the company, they first told me everything was fine, and the bus was on its way. Later, I received another call saying I was not at the correct pickup point, even though my ticket clearly stated “hotel pickup" and I even paid extra for it. I explained that I was waiting at my hotel as instructed, and even offered to reach the alternative pickup location within 10 minutes. But they refused, saying it was too late and canceled my tour. I ended up missing the entire experience that I paid for and received no proper explanation or support. I wouldn’t recommend BusTravel Iceland. Their poor communication and unprofessional service ruined my trip.
Anna is a fantastic guide, very knowledgeable about history, maths and the places we visited. In general I would recommend Bus Travel Iceland for any tour. I did several with them and enjoyed them all. Competitive prices, very experienced guides and fantastic customer service.
A very nice trip, a whole day to see Iceland's nature etc. Very nice guide... 🥰😀👍
Everything was fine, saw a lot in the south of Iceland and had a great tour guide. The highlight was the black beach
Beautiful 🤩🤩🤩 I highly recommend! The guide and driver are very friendly!!
Okay, a satisfying experience, good, good, good, good 👍, but it's been a little long. Bring a little food.
