This was just as memorable. Mical took us to hidden waterfalls, places not crowded with tourists. Those small details made a big difference and made the whole trip feel exclusive. He also shared useful tips, from which lagoons to visit to insights about Iceland that you won’t easily find online. Also, prepare your outfits. They take great photos. You get a guide, a private car and a photographer all in one. Hard to ask for more from a tour. Overall, the experience was worth every penny. You can’t put a price on moments like this.

We had an amazing private South Coast tour experience! It was just my girlfriend and I, and our guide made the entire day feel personal and relaxed. He was kind, patient, and never rushed us at any of the stops. One of the best parts was that he also took photos of us at every location and gave great direction so we could get some really beautiful shots together. We had the most fantastic experience with Icelandic Roamers and cannot recommend them highly enough. We did two tours — a Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) tour and a 14-hour South Coast tour from Reykjavik — both guided by Michal, who was our guide, photographer, and driver. Michal was truly amazing. He is incredibly knowledgeable about Iceland, friendly, easy to talk to, and made everything feel seamless from start to finish. Even though the South Coast tour was 14 hours long, it genuinely didn’t feel like it — we had so much fun the entire day. We played our own music, stopped for lots of snacks and Icelandic hot dogs, and enjoyed every moment. Some of our favorite highlights included stunning photos at Skógafoss, the breathtaking Glacier Lagoon (Jökulsárlón), and Diamond Beach — which was honestly one of the most spectacular views we’ve ever seen. Even Reynisfjara’s black sand beach, despite some erosion, was absolutely worth the stop and still incredibly beautiful. Planning was effortless thanks to Miro, who was extremely responsive, clear, and thoughtful in his recommendations. For our South Coast tour, we were able to choose four stops, and he gave great insight into which ones would be most worthwhile alongside the ones we had already selected. The photography turnaround time was unbelievably fast, and we were even surprised with a beautiful video from our two days — such a special touch. These are truly memories we’ll cherish for a lifetime. The vehicles (jeep and van) were immaculate and comfortable, and overall the experience felt personal, smooth, and thoughtfully curated. We did a private tour with Icelandic Roamers as a family of five, and it truly made our entire trip to Iceland. My fiancé and I recently got engaged and we asked Miro to help take engagement photos on our south coast tour. We were thoroughly impressed! We've done plenty of tours that advertised professional photography, but the cameras were the only professional thing about them. Miro actually knows what he's doing. He even took some videos of us dancing on our phones that turned out better than anything we've ever captured on our own. We also added in a few custom elements and Milo was super accomodating, including Icelandic horseback riding and a drop-off at the Aurora igloo, where we saw beautiful northern lights later that night.

When one sees 200+ 5-star reviews, pay attention! We used Icelandic Roamers for a 10-day family trip (5 adults). They helped us plan out our days and we saw everything that we'd hoped to see and then some. The pace was as we wanted it including a last minute text sent before breakfast "4 of us want to do nothing this morning and 1 wants to go on a waterfall chase, can you take her?" Our guide was very flexible, did not push us to do what we didn't feel like doing, and took exceptionally good care of us and our group. The photography was a real added bonus as the guide had great cameras and was very skilled...so we didn't even have to worry about taking photos and it was nice to have group pictures anywhere that we wanted. I can not speak more highly of the company and our guide who was Miro.

Together we managed some great shots and the drone videos were very professional and caught the action and excitement of the day as well as the mystic landscape. So worth it. Fantastic Trip! Family of 6 (kids ages 18, 17, 15 and 12) - we did 5 days with Miro and it could not have been better. From our first conversation with Miro all the way until he dropped us at the airport on day 6, it was flawless. Miro is a great guide and did a wonderful job showing us all that Iceland has to offer (including hidden hot springs and hidden ice cream spots!). Miro is super knowledgeable and does a great job showing the country and making it fun for all on the trip and my kids would say his music taste is “fire”. He is up for anything (hiking, snorkeling, ATVing in 40 mp winds!) and takes awesome pictures, a real added bonus that we loved. All in all, I can honestly say that Miro made the trip for us - don’t hesitate to have him and his team take you around Iceland for an epic adventure!

Miro Miro Miro. Such an amazing person and phenomenal photographer. We had the pleasure of doing an entire day tour with him and enjoyed every moment of it. He’s so knowledgeable of this country. He also has an amazing eye for photos, as well as videos, that we would have never thought of. We never felt rushed with him. Even with a big group of 6, we each got amazing personal and group shots. Where do I even BEGIN? Finding Miro and his company for our tour was honestly a blessing in disguise! I can’t imagine anyone else showing us around Iceland tbh. He communicated with me so well the entire process before we even arrived and anything we asked for, he worked with us and our itinerary to make sure our time there was special. It was important to me to visit places that were not necessarily on the itinerary but whatever we wanted to do, he included it and made the time ours. Not only is he such a super sweet, cool, and knowledgeable guide, he also is a GREAT photographer! I mean quite literally LOOK at some of these photos he captured of us. I wanted to take birthday pictures on the beach to make my birthday special and he came through… We even met one of his friends and other guides, Michal, during our search for the northern lights and he was such a gem as well! Truly adore them both! 🥹 I couldn’t have asked for anything better! Was in Iceland for my son’s 21st birthday. What a spectacular country, nothing can really prepare you for this extraordinary place. Icelandic Roamers were recommended by a colleague of mine - we were there for far too short a time! The experience of skimming across the black sand to the Westward islands and peering into the frozen waterfall landscapes hidden in the hills - beautiful, barren and like nothing you have ever seen. It was expensive, but the personal touch and advantage of local knowledge, the fun of our vehicle ‘Bounty’ and adventure - priceless. Would highly recommend these guys - really appreciated the photos and especially the drone footage. Nice! Would love to come back - next time for a lot longer!

We had an amazing two day trip with Robert as our tour guide. He took us to off-the-path locations that you could not go to with a larger tour group, had good humour and delivered great photos. Miro was also helpful and responsive in organising the trip, and I would highly recommend Icelandic Roamers to anyone.

OMG, don't even know where to start. This is an encompassing and awe inspiring excursion. While this is a long day of activities (over 11 hours), it is worth every minute. We signed up for this excursion through Icelandic Roamers' website, and selected this tour to include the Glacier Hike. That alone was worth the cost of this tour. First, Robert, our tour guide and driver, picked us up at our hotel in Reykjavik. Our first stop was the glacier, which is about a 90 minute drive to our destination. Robert comes prepared with gear such as helmets, harnesses, ice picks, and crampons for your shoes (extremely necessary). From there, it's about a 15 minute walk to the base of the glacier, and the hike begins. This tour requires a moderate amount of activity, but once you can overlook the valley, the views are breathtaking. It was rigorous, but worth it. From there, it was about 25-30 minutes to get to the black sand beaches. Once you get on the beach, you'll ask yourself "where have I seen this before". Well, if you're a Sci-Fi movie person, this beach has been in several movies, and the cliffs are incredible for viewing. Next stop was the tiny town of Vik, and while it's known for their cute little church, Robert took us off-roading and up a cliff, where the view of the town and the ocean were remarkable! We finally ended our day with three picturesque waterfalls in Seljalandsfoss, Gljúfrabúi, and Skógafoss. Recommendation, when you get to Skógafoss, do the 550 stair climb to the top. You won't regret it! Other notes about the tour - bring extra water and some snacks, as there is a lot of driving on this tour. But can't stress this enough - Robert, and the Icelandic Tour team did an outstanding job making our first trip to Iceland a memorable one. Thank you again!!!

WOW! What a day we had. I’d rate it more than 5 Stars if I could. My daughter & I had the absolute best experience with Icelandic Roamers. Miro was great communicating with us beforehand & Kacper was fun and very knowledgeable guide! We saw incredible waterfalls, the beautiful black sand beaches of Vik, the Sólheimajökull glacier and some secret places that only, our Land Rover could reach! It was a day we’ll always remember. The photos we received captured our day & the emotions we felt perfectly! I’ll call Icelandic Roamers first when we come to Iceland again.

We had such a fun time with Robert in South Iceland- our kids warmed up to him instantly and we got some amazing photos. Our weather was unfortunately less than desirable, but we still had an AMAZING time and saw so much in just one day. Robert even stopped at a grocery store on our way back to Reykjavik so I could shop for some local favorites. Highly recommend! Worth every penny!!!

Between delicious meals together in a tomato greenhouse, at a black crust pizzeria and a geothermal bakery we were happy for three lovely days in Miro's company. His vehicle was very comfortable for Golden Circle, South Coast and Highlands private tours for two of us, including some off road driving. Extra bonus was his photos of us at beautiful waterfalls and beaches which we could not have taken for ourselves. Thank you Miro.

Tour was amazing! Miro was the absolute best! He was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and friendly. He also communicated thoroughly, was extremely accommodating to our needs and managed time perfectly. Not only are his photos great, but it’s also so nice to have pictures of our whole family together without having had to ask strangers to photograph us with our phones all day. Let’s just start by saying, no other tour could even come close to what Miro will do for you. Miro is such an amazing person and will go to extreme lengths to make your experience amazing. I proposed to my now fiancée and Miro made sure the moment was captured with videos and photos. When driving in between spots he knows how to make the time pass with conversation and fun facts about Iceland. Next trip to Iceland I will be booking another tour maybe even a ring road tour with Miro. I couldn’t recommend a tour with Miro enough.

Booking tours with Icelandic Roamers was the smartest thing we did when planning our trip to Iceland. We toured the South Coast and also booked a Northern Lights tour. While the original date was not conducive to seeing the lights, we were able to reschedule and find the lights on our final night!! Miro's expertise and knowledge of all things Iceland made the trip so fun. And not least of all, his photos are incredible. It was invaluable to be able to just be present at every site because he takes so many amazing pictures of you!

During my family and I’s time in Iceland, we were shown around the country by Miro: a very safe, respectful and helpful guide. He managed our time well so we would be able to get maximum enjoyment from the trip. He even prepared our entire week's schedule, picked out hotels for us to stay in and chose great places to visit during the day. He is adventurous and yet cautious, ensuring our safety. My family had an amazing time and couldn’t stop taking photos of everywhere he took us! Speaking of photos, Miro felt like our own personal photographer. He took the most amazing photos of both the scenery and ourselves. When the trip finally ended, he electronically sent us more than 200 well taken photos! My family was amazed by it, especially my son who could not stop looking through the photo album. Not only is he a great guide and photographer, but a very respectful and trustworthy person. He is aware and understanding of other cultures and religions and caters to our needs accordingly, especially food-wise. My family does not eat pork, and my son has celiac disease meaning he cannot eat gluten. Despite this, we had no problem with food whatsoever! My son even managed to eat in every single restaurant (though Iceland is aware of gluten intolerances, Miro made extra care to ensure absolutely no gluten was present in the food). My almost seventy year old mother also came along on the trip, and despite her knee problems he made sure she did not lose any of her enjoyment. There was nowhere she wasn’t able to go. I have no doubts recommending this trip at all! It was an unforgettable experience for not just me, but all the family.

We had an amazing time touring the South Coast of Iceland with our private tour guide, Miro. He was on time and picked us up from our hotel in downtown Reykjavik. We spent more than 9 hours visiting places that we never would have been able to go ourselves, including secluded areas where only experienced guides can get to. This was the best tour I've been on in Iceland for those who really want to see the island. I did the south coast tour with my brothers and Robert was our guide. He showed us some awesome local spots for hiking that had way less traffic and took fantastic photos too. I've been to Iceland a few times before and on a few other tours and this was by far the most "nature" focused one. I would recommend it to anyone going, and ask for Robert he was amazing.

Our best family memories were on the Icelandic Roamers tours with Miro. Looking back I wish I had scheduled all of our tours with them. Miro was excellent at tailoring the day to make a unique experience for everyone in the family. He was very attentive to safety for me, mom, while adventurous enough to keep my college age son and daughter captivated. The images that Miro captured were majestic. My husband and I, both art directors in California, were pleasantly surprised by the artistry of Milo's photography…very professional! Tours with other companies were scenic but felt more like a cattle call and not nearly as memorable or endearing as our adventures with Icelandic Roamers. Other group bus tours, mini and full size buses, can be confusing and stressful. Most of the tours pick up at crowded bus stops with many other tourists waiting for a variety of tours with various companies.Often these companies require that you arrive 30 minutes prior to departure. If you are late you risk being left behind. Icelandic Roamers tours were first class and so much more enjoyable than the group tours. Miro showed up at our hotel on time and was very patient when we’re a little late. He was extremely entertaining and informative. His cheerful personality always made for a fun day! Miro’s wife Maja coincidentally worked at our hotel, the Canopy Hilton, and was equally endearing. They have a very professional and personable family business. I highly recommend all of their tours!

I have to say that Miro creates a truly special experience. From the moment we met him he was enthusiastic, and that excitement did not stop until we said goodbye 5 days later. First, he cares deeply about Iceland; and he’s genuinely excited to share every aspect in ways that are engaging and make you understand this beautiful country. He treats the country with a lot of reverence and respect. Personally, my wife and I don’t like when people disrespect the landscape and the signs and barriers that are put up to protect the environment. Miro is very much the same way. He wants people to experience the raw beauty of the country for generations to come and we loved that. Next, he’s immensely engaging. Just hours into the tour it felt like we were visiting a friend instead of having a tour guide. We spent so much time just laughing and talking about our own shared and varied interests. He’s so genuine and kind as a person and knows how to treat people. The car was clean, comfortable and rugged enough to handle impromptu mud, rain and snow. And all of the accommodations he arranged were comfortable and the perfect way to unwind after a long day of adventure. On top of his knowledge and personality, he’s a fantastic photogrpaher. Every single photo he shared with us was of the quality you would hang on your wall. At times he made either of us look downright heroic. This adds another level of value to the trip because the photos last forever. His itinerary really felt like we covered so much ground without being exhausting. And his advice with regards to any of our activities was spot on. Every day was full of rich, beautiful scenery and experiences that we will never forget. Not only do we recommend his tour, we can’t wait to come back and visit with our new friend.

A full day of wonders, to be honest, we never came back home from a trip so exhausted! Off road through the black sand beach, waterfalls, film locations (recently we found out we have been on the same beach where Russel Crowe during filming of Noah!) and all the stories Miro said while taking us to so many amazing places, that we lost count, not to mention we couldn’t even pronounce most of the names. The trip cannot be more personalized, if you don’t like to be taken to places in the bus full of strangers with timed time to spent there, as all other tour operators does, book the time with Roamers as every minute is worth it. Not to say too much, we are already planning another trip, on the different season, as we don’t have enough of Iceland!

We had an outstanding day exploring the Snæfellsnes Peninsula with Miro. He planned a full day of adventure for us and we enjoyed all of the stops along the way. Miro is a great guide, an amazing photographer and a fun person!!! We had an amazing time going with him in his epic Defender on a 4-days trip around the south and east coasts of Iceland. We had an absolutely amazing day, we chose the Southern Coastal Trip and loved every minute although we were in the middle of snow storms and extremely high winds it only added to the adventure. Miro is super informative, a great driver and superb photographer. Would highly recommend him.

If you’re ever in Iceland you need to book Icelandic Roamers for all your tours!! Miro is so knowledgeable, takes you off-roading to places you could never get to on your own or with any other tour, and documents it all for you! He’s a kick ass photographer paired with an even more kick ass tour guide!! We booked a Northern Lights Tour and the South Coast Tour and we had a blast! I visited Iceland with my 19 year old Daughter and 14 year old Son. We booked the Golden Circle and South Coast tours. Unfortunately the Golden Circle had to be cancelled due to extreme weather and road closures. The communication from Miro was superb and he arranged a full refund which arrived within 2 days. Happily our South Coast tour went ahead. I really don't quite know how to express how wonderful and memorable the day was. Miro kept us ahead of most of the tour buses so we were able to visit all the key sites without crowds. These were all beautiful but what really made the trip were the secret spots that we got to visit. I don't want to spoil anyone's future surprises so no details, other than they will give you life long, unique memories. My decision to use a professional guide was further reinforced as we got to rescue two hire cars stuck in the snow! To cap it all off I received lots of amazing photos that Miro had taken during the day. I cannot recommend Miro highly enough, and we will be returning later in the year to do the Golden Circle and Northern Lights with him.
