This was a full day tour and the driver Arney was excellent. This exceeded my expectations for customer service and experience of riding on the glacier, stops at water falls, and the secret lagoon after riding. The pick up and drop off was super convenient and a fun ride in the super jeep. We felt it was worth the cost.

Itinerary
Leaving Reykjavik, we drive through the Geysir hote spring area and head straight towards Langjökull Glacier to enjoy an hour long snowmobiling experience. After gearing up in warm winter overalls, hats, gloves and helmets, your guide will brief you on how to safely ride the snowmobiles before we set off on our adventure. Experience the thrill of zipping across this spectacular glacial landscape. We will make a ten minute stop during the snowmobiling tour if people want to switch drivers, enjoy the view or take photos.
After your exciting snowmobiling experience, we will visit one of our favorite restaurants in South Iceland for lunch.
Finally, we will end our day with a visit to the Secret lagoon. Enjoy a soak in this natural thermal outdoor spring. Admission tickets are included in the tour and you can hire towels and bathing suits at the baths if you wish (own expense). Once you're feeling fully revitalized, we will board the super truck for the journey back to Reykjavik.

Absolutely once in a lifetime experience. So much fun but still need to be fairly mobile to get to where you’re going. It was so fun, and ending the day in the spa made it the highlight of our trip.
This experience was amazing! We highly recommend it. The guides were great and safely got everyone to and from each location. Snowmobiling and Secret Lagoon were both incredible and the views are breathtaking. Thank you to John and crew we will never forget this outstanding adventure. Highly recommend this tour.
The trip and the staff are excellent- the 4* rating is more based on the personal experience on the snow mobile. It was not for me and as I was travelling with a child - it take a lot physically and mentally to do the ride in full as I had no one that I could swap with on the driving! Be warned it’s not a simple task! Other than that - everything was a lovely experience
This tour was 100% the highlight of our Iceland trip, the Ford F350 is an absolute beast and was very fun to travel in, our guide Yngvi was awesome (now beginning to doubt whether I have remembered his name correctly after only a week since the trip, if so then my apologies man - classic British fail on my part here!), the off-road portion from Gullfoss to the glacier base was great fun, the snowmobiling itself was really great, the instructors made everything clear, we loved it and the views were insane, seeing the moon and the sun on a clear day across the horizon with all kinds of scenery was beautiful. It would’ve been great if a longer session was possible but i enjoyed it nonetheless. I don’t know why but I expected it to be a smoother ride but instead i found it to be a lot like riding a dirt bike, albeit heavier and harder to turn with my wife as a passenger who decides to counterbalance rather than lean into turns with you lol. I would love to do it again someday. The secret lagoon after was a nice way to warm up and relax a bit, made us all very sleepy on the way back to the city. Saw some reviews that said the trip was expensive, and yes of course it is, like everything else in Iceland, but I found it to be well worth it and is a life experience I won’t soon forget! How often can you say you got to go snowmobiling on a glacier?! Thanks so much for a great day!
Our tour was managed efficiently and professionally. Everything ran to time , we were kept updated via emails prior to the tour and reminded of our safety procedures throughout . Our guide , Einar, even returned to a pick up point to collect a late guest. He was informative and shared his knowledge and history of Iceland which we found very interesting. All staff involved on our tour were friendly attentive and courteous. We had a surprise stop off of a waterfall on route which was an absolute bonus . The guides on the snowmobile part of the tour (Lucas and a very tall Dutch gentleman! ) maintained high safety throughout and made the snowmobiling fun, even the staff that suited and booted us for the snowmobiles were friendly and courteous. We enjoyed the secret lagoon, offering a relaxing end to our journey , returning to our hotel in plenty of time for an evening meal . Overall , we would highly recommend this company!
Thankyou to Einar for keeping the tour on for us despite my wife and I being the only one's booked for the day. Our Guide for the day Peter was fantastic giving us great insight into Iceland's history and great facts about the landscape formation. This tour was easily one of the highlights of the trip and a perfect way to experience both the adventure and relaxation sides of Iceland. The snowmobiling on Langjökull glacier was fantastic. After a great drive through Iceland’s dramatic landscapes, the experience of riding across the glacier was amazing. The guides were professional, friendly and safety-focused, giving clear instructions and ensuring everyone felt confident before setting off. The snowmobiles were well maintained, and there was plenty of time to enjoy the ride and take photos and fortunately it was a beautiful sunny day After the snowmobiling, adrenaline rush, the visit to the Secret Lagoon was the perfect way to wind down. Based in a quiet rural setting, the lagoon felt very authentic and peaceful. Soaking in the naturally warm geothermal waters while watching steam rise into the cold air was amazing. The combination of adventure and tranquillity made this tour exceptionally well balanced. Overall, this tour is highly recommended for anyone wanting to experience Iceland’s glaciers up close while also enjoying a truly relaxing geothermal soak. It’s a memorable, well-run experience that shows the best of Iceland’s natural wonders.
Amazing day, tour guide was absolutely brilliant. Very informative and professional. Would recommend this trip 10/10
⭐ 2/10 – Would not recommend We were offered a 30% partial refund, which reflects how poor this experience was. The tour was extremely busy, disorganised, and at times felt dangerous. There were far too many snowmobiles in one group, with multiple large groups both in front of and behind us. This resulted in constant stopping and starting — we spent most of the snowmobiling time stationary, waiting for issues ahead to be resolved. The glacier conditions were very poor due to warm weather, with slush and standing water causing several people to fall off their snowmobiles. While staff did their best, they were clearly overstretched and understaffed for the number of participants. Be aware this is also a very long day, with around a 2.5-hour bus ride each way just to reach the snowmobiling location. Overall, this felt like a highly commercial operation prioritising volume over safety and experience. I would not book this again. What I would recommend instead: If your budget allows, consider helicopter transport to the glacier and a private snowmobiling tour with a personal guide. This would avoid the long bus journey, large crowds, and constant delays we experienced. At the end of the day, this was extremely disappointing — even with the 30% partial refund.
Exhilarating adventure, excellent guides, and well worth it! We were lucky with perfect weather- clear, sunny skies.
Thank you Nick for this wonderful experience throughout the day and the stops ! We do recommend 100%
Really was a wonderful experience that I will cherish with my loved ones. Thank you for making our trip soooo much fun. Our guide, Edgar, was amazing!
We had a great experience. Clothing provided kept us mostly warm. The group was too large. Smaller size group would have been better.
Fantastic tour we can just highly recommend. Our guide „Bigi“ was awesome, very good driver and proving us with wonderful insights about Iceland and our tour attractions. Lovely day - thanks!
Our day began with a pick up by Keli from SuperJeep Iceland. The 6 person passenger limit was a plus. Everyone got to know each other and we were able to make an extra stop for mushroom soup. The snowmobiling was safe and a lot of fun. The trip to the Secret Lagoon was a relaxing follow up to a windy morning on the glacier.
Great time seeing beautiful Iceland with my family. Taking a snowmobile on the glacier was definitely the highlight, very inspiring!
Awesome experience definitely recommend guide was knowledgeable and seemed like he enjoyed his job loved riding in the super jeep
Absolutely fantastic! The man driving the bus in Ice 8 was a complete and utter legend. He is very knowledgeable and made the experience 10 x better than it would have been. We miss him already. Snowmobiling & secret lagoon was a great experience we will never forget. Thank you very much.
Amazing experience, driver was very experienced and careful, was not talking a lot which i appreciated. The car wonderful! For snowmobiling is very cool and experience, which you can’t miss during your trip. Secret lagoon is nothing spacial, it’s only one pool nothing special in general. My opinion is that this trip is a bit expensive and price can be better.
I cannot recommend this tour enough. Pick up was really easy, our super jeep driver Thor was very curtious and professional, the snowmobiling was really fun, you cannot beat the beautiful scenery. We wished we had a chance to ride them faster but for safety its understood. The secret lagoon ar the end is perfect after the activities.
Great day was had by myself and daughter. Would defo recommend for a great adventure. We will be returning next winter for more of the same
What an amazing experience..... the offload driving was an experince (wouldn't recommend if youre an anxious passenger or get travel sick) but it was very cold and icey when we were here. It was such good fun and the driver was amazing. The secret lagoon was nice - don't get put off my the tales of naked showering there's no one there to make you do anything like that. Had a nice mulled wine after it. I'd take your own lunch as sandwiches are expensive (about £11 for a baguette) but nice. Highlight of our trip to iceland. The snow mobiles are bumpy and you need strength to turn them - a real workout.
Amazing time snowmobiling on the glacier. Thor was a great tour guide, he even stopped when we saw the northern lights as an added bonus! And the super jeeps are impressive! The secret lagoon was perfect after the chilly ride on the glacier and we will never forget the whole experience!
Amazing, amazing, amazing!! The experience was like nothing I’ve ever had, the tour guide was so helpful and knowledgable, the equipment was excellent quality and the whole day ran seamlessly. And we stopped to see some incidental northern lights on the way home!! Thankyou so much for the best experience. I can’t recommend enough.
Outstanding guys Amazing experience in the blizzard-19 but didn't feel cold at all on the snow mobiles with the suits provided
Absolutely amazing trip. From start to finish it was excellent. Our guide was so friendly and helpful, with lots of interesting information along the way, even a couple of bonus stops!! Being transported in our own super jeep was an absolute joy, we felt safe and comfortable at all times. If you are considering this adventure I strongly recommend this as was very personal, leaving memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you!
So well organised and a great excursion for the whole family , we lost a phone in the snow during the excursion and we truly thought it couldn’t be found , they put in such great efforts to find this phone for two days and had found it for us we are forever grateful and shall pay their kindness forwards x
We highly recommend this excursion! The trip was very well organized from hotel pick-up to drop off. In addition to his professionalism and expertise, we very much appreciated how engaging our guide, Jose, was to all of us. We also enjoyed the small group experience.
HIGHLY recommend this tour. Ingi, our guide, was highly knowledgeable and a great time. The ride to and on the glacier will blow your mind. It is one of the most incredible things I've ever done. The secret lagoon was nice but unless you are set on seeing it, I'd probably skip that and do the snowmobile + golden circle tour instead. Again, great guide and great company.
Was cloudy at first and then opened up and was beautiful! The guides were awesome and made the time a blast, I come from a snowmobiling background and they let me have some fun on their sleds!
This excursion was the best one we’ve ever been on. Incha out tour guide was amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed our time on the glacier. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to do anything while they’re in Iceland. The Secret Lagoon was a nice relaxing end after our adrenaline rush.
Fantastic Experience - from the monster truck trek across the snow to snowmobiling on a 3 million year old glacier - the waterfalls, the geyser, the secret lagoon. Absolutely amazing day! An experience not to miss!
Driving through the snow in those big vehicles … our driver was outstanding . … the snowmobile experience was a bucket list for me especially in the glacier ….
Absolutely fab. Inky was great, loooved the snowmobile, perhaps a 90 minute version would be great. Exhilarating yet peaceful
Really liked the small group. Guide personalized the trip. Was nice to experience Iceland. Snowmobiling was organized and safe.
Fantastic outing enjoyed by the entire family. The snowmobiling was great and relaxing at Secret Lagoon afterwards was perfect. Highly recommend. Very professional operation at the glacier.
I had such a fun time on this trip and would definitely recommend it. Bart, my driver and instructor was brilliant. I was picked up from my hotel as arranged and we picked up another couple before driving towards the glacier. We stopped briefly enroute for a bathroom/tea break. I was a little unsure about how I would find the snowmobile (although I've had motorbikes and jet skis) but Bart was very encouraging and reassuring. That said, I was surprised at how bumpy the snowmobile was to ride. The time spent on the snowmobile went so quickly sadly, although we had been out for about an hour. After the experience, we drove to Geysir for lunch break/photo opportunity This trip is a perfect pairing with the visit to the secret lagoon. By the afternoon, my arms and legs were starting to ache. A soak in the secret lagoon was so welcome and relaxing. We had ample time at the lagoon before returning back to our hotels. A fun and relaxing day. Thank you Bart
We went on the Snowmobiling on Langjökull Glacier and Bathing in the Secret Lagoon. Our guide was Bart he was fantastic. He picked us up from our hotel promptly at 8.30am. He was super friendly funny and knowledgable of the area. We struck lucky to be the only 2 members on the tour. It was very well organised and a bucket list activity that was 100% of worth it. Thanks for a great day.
This was by far the highlight of our trip! So well organised and we had the best fun! Pick up from hotel - very lucky just the two of us in a small group - amazing snowmobile ride and bathe in the secret lagoon! Our guide Bart was fantastic! So knowledgeable and we had a great laugh! Bucket list complete! Thank you!
Ink our guide picked around us up at 8.30 in a monster truck, which was a great start to the day! He then drove us to the meeting point and on the way he told us all about Iceland and answered all the questions we had . From the meeting point we carried on to base camp where we go dressed and kitted up. We then drove to the glazer where we got the snowmobile. They where fantastic.. had a guide tour of the glazer . It was very safe and extremely enjoyable. It lasted about an hr on the snowmobile. After returning our kit we then proceeded to the secret lagoon where we got to warm up and relax for a few hrs .. had a drink the water it was magical! We arrived back to the hotel about 7 .. all in all a very memorable day out and one we won’t forget .. thank you so much ❤️.
Huge highlight of our trip. Our guide Biggie was fantastic. So knowledgeable and personable. The snowmobile guides made it a lot of fun as well. They outfit you with very warm coveralls and you won’t be cold. We’ll organized. The views while riding on the glacier were spectacular. Our tour included the secret lagoon which was great after a long day as well.
It was so bad the service is so bad everything was horrible I hated I my family was as sick of it they wanted to go home
Awesome day trip. Was picked up at a bus stop right near our hotel. Ants was an amazing tour guide who took us to several off the beaten path locations en route to the snow mobiles. He gave awesome insight to everything that is iceland. Snow mobiles were fun, beautiful scenic views. Very safe. Secret Lagoon was fun and a nice way to end the day. Highly recommend using this tour!
Our guide Inke was unbelievable. He was so friendly, welcoming, and willing to share everything he knew with us along the way. Being of Icelandic roots, he had so much to tell and was such a fun person to spend a day with. He was also a phenomenal driver, which COUNTS! He led an awesome tour while continually checking that we were safe and comfortable, and I never felt like I was out of my comfort zone. We were able to stop at the geysir and gulfoss quickly because we only had four people in our tour, which was such a nice add. The snowmobiling itself was so much fun, thrill seeking and not just a “track” course - you are truly on a glacier and experiencing it all first hand. 10/10 recommend, and the secret lagoon definitely beats the blue lagoon any day, a more local spot with a chill vibe perfect for relaxing after the chilly ride. Ps. We went in May and needed a long sleeved shirt and a sweatshirt with a medium jacket, I wore lululemon leggings under the overalls they provide and was the perfect temp (I am always cold) - the gear is perfect, but sneaks are a bit of a stretch if you’re debating something more waterproof, bring boots! Once again though - Inke was the highlight. He made an hour ride feel like 10 minutes and had so many stories and facts I cannot wait to share!!!
We had originally booked this trip but the day before it actually got cancelled as we were the only people that had booked it and we instead were put on the trip "Golden Circle Super-Jeep Tour and Snowmobiling". We were a bit disappointed as we purposely didn't go to the blue lagoon as we thought we were going to the secret lagoon as part of this trip. More notice would have been appreciated - so bare that in mind if you are booking this. Other than that, the day was brilliant and our tour guide Raven was amazing. We got to see a lot of stuff during the day trip and Raven was full of information. Then of course the snowmobiling was the highlight. Raven even then stopped on the way back to allow us to meet some Icelandic horses. Overall, the day was really well organized and a great way to see some sights out with the city. Would highly recommend!
We had the most incredible experience! We had a very knowledgeable driver named Christian. He stopped along the way to show us sites that were absolutely breathtaking and beautiful! Emil helped to create a memorable experience snowmobiling on the glacier! The views were spectacular and the experience was so unique. We also had the opportunity to go to the Secret Lagoon afterwards which was an amazing and relaxing way to end a full day of adventure! I would highly recommend this experience!!
This was a fabulous experience and highly recommend to any one considering booking this tour. Guide for the day was excellent and informative about the various cites and history of Iceland. Snowmobiling was great fun and again the guides were excellent. Would definitely book again
This is really good fun …. The guides are very informative and know their stuff. The clothes they provide and more than adequate for the conditions, we were toasty warm the whole time. Unfortunately for us the weather was foggy and snowy so we didn’t get to see the beautiful landscape and views, but nonetheless, we still had a great time!!
Fantastic experience and very well organised. The visibility was almost zero so we were worried it would get cancelled but it went ahead and although it was a bit scary the organisers were really good at modifying the route to keep us all safe.
Snowmobiling was super fun especially surrounded by winter wonderland scenery. Our guide was great and ending in relaxing secret lagoon afterwards was perfect
