Join us on what we believe is the most fun thing to do in the world! Snowmobiling on a glacier. Our local guides will escort you safely from Husafell information center to the top of Langjokull glacier. Our rides are new and sturdy and ideal for our journey to the top. In Husafell you will receive your gear: helmets, buff, overshoes and warm overalls. Then we move via bus to the edge of the glacier where you will receive safety instructions about the snowmobiles and the glacier. Upon completion we embark to the top and every step of the way is explained by our local knowledgeable guides. We will also create and help you with photo opportunities to preserve your memories. And to brag with your friends and family :) If there ever was a bucket list item to tick then this is it!

Great experience! Pickup was right on time, the staff were lovely, and the snowmobile ride was such an adrenaline rush. Definitely a highlight of my trip to Iceland!
Gabriela was awesome! We almost had our excursion canceled because the truck to take us up the glacier had a blown tire, but Gabriela found a way to make our last day in Iceland special and got us on the glacier regardless! Gabriela also made me feel safe & confident driving the snowmobile because I was scared.
This experience was awesome! Gabriela took great care of us and made sure we made it to our tour, even though they had a problem with the tire on the super jeep. She called a different tour company and asked them to give us a ride to the glacier (and they did). She made sure we had the best experience; took videos of us, made us feel safe & warm, and gave us direction mixed with freedom to ride! 100% recommend this tour to any one in iceland. Definitely the coolest thing we did in Iceland.
We had an incredible time. Gabby and Thor were awesome guides. They took great care of us. The equipment they provide keeps you dry and warm. We would definitely do this again.
Fantastic experience. Thor and Gabby were very knowledgable and great hosts. Pick up and transfers were perfect. The unpredictable nature of the weather on the glacier meant that visibility was very low but still had a fantastic time snow mobiling. Superb day out with a great team. Highly recommend. Loved it.
This is a thrilling adventure I did not expect. it in the middle of the top of the glacier thru unexpected weather (windy, snowy , a bit cold 🥶). Overall it was an outter body experience in the books. Gabriela and driver (sorry forgot his name 😞) was very communicative throughout - from pickup from Reykjavik, offer clothing suits, timing history, showing how tricky to maneuver going up on ice and so on. Plus: you have good wifi connection 😄. Until next time.

What an experience. Awesome to be snowmobiling on a glacier. All the guides were sensational. So kind, helpful and informative. Stunning scenery on the drive to the glacier with the bonus stops at the waterfall and to see the Icelandic horses. Guides also provided lots and lots of information about what to do in Reykjavik and its surrounds. A absolute must do when in Iceland.
Tour got cancelled due to weather, which is absolutely understandable. But they never responded back regarding rescheduling or receiving a refund despite multiple messages. I ended up having to dispute it with my credit card company since I hadn’t heard anything from them for almost 5 days. This was truly the only excursion on my entire Iceland trip where I encountered this problem of not being communicated with. Every other trip had great people behind it.
The snow mobile tour experience was appalling. We were asked to move from the morning snow mobile session to the afternoon session by reason of bad weather, which we agreed to. However, after 2 hours of travelling to the glacier and 1.5 hours of waiting for “updates” at the spot, we were vaguely told by the man in charge that the activity was cancelled and then sent back to our hotels. At no point were we informed by said man (who expressed he was only there for the transport and had trouble contacting the company) what the itinerary was, why there was a 1+ hour holdup, or why the activity was eventually cancelled at all. The situation was particularly shady since we could clearly see other guests heading up the glacier for the snow mobile activity. Overall it was a waste of 6+ hours that could have been utilised for other activities and a very unfortunate experience. If the activity could not go ahead because of the weather (which would have been understandable), it should have been cancelled before set off. Seeing other guests head up for the experience, though, it does not seem to be a genuine weather problem. I am very disappointed with my booking and would not recommend this business to any guests.
Weather made our experience a bit challenging. The guides tried their best to make the trip an enjoyable one. Unfortunately the glacier was too icy to get near top and over other side. Safety is paramount, so we understood. Despite that it was quite a good trip in a breathtaking location. Thanks to Eddie and Gabriella for keeping us safe!
Amazing experience and the guide paid extra attention as it was myself and 10 yr old. Never felt pressure to go fast and stayed at the back with me which was great. The whole experience was amazing. This company moved my experience at the last minute for me as well due to a change of circumstances, they were very helpful. Would book with them again in a heartbeat.
Our guides Eddie and Gabbie made it amazing !!! They supported me my wife and our two kids so well to make our experience incredible. They shared so much knowledge in such an interesting way that everyone in our group felt special and privileged to be there. Would recommend to anyone visiting Iceland.
An absolutely unforgettable experience! The snowmobile tour on the glacier with Simply Iceland was outstanding – everything went smoothly and left lasting memories. We were particularly impressed by the condition of the vehicles: The snowmobiles are brand new, which made the ride incredibly comfortable. A big compliment goes to our two guides, Gabriela and Eva. They were not only highly professional and ensured everyone's safety, but also incredibly warm and friendly in their interactions with our group. From start to finish, we felt well taken care of.
