Snorkeling In Silfra & Fly Over Iceland Virtual Experience - Self-drive

One of the most amazing experiences my wife and I ever had. It starts with a short summary of the history of Iceland and is followed by a few minutes - too few, unfortunately...- of an exhilerating and very realistic magic carpet ride through the main natural atractions of beautiful Iceland. Highly recommended as the first show for anybody who is visiting Iceland for the first time, as it gives many clues to what natural beauties to visit during your stay

The only part really worth the money was the "flying" experience, which only lasts about 7 minutes. It is pretty amazing, but short.

This disney style ride presents the amazing views of Iceland. On my opinion the movements are too sharp and caused me some dizziness.

it is just like the soaring California game in disneyland. it is fun, but too short for the amount of money that it costs. You do get to see panoramic views of beautiful iceland. We missed not been given a view of the northern lights in the film.

Fly Over Iceland was truly like being in a helicopter over the fabulous sights of Iceland. It was a great overview of the beauty that is Iceland!

Fly over Iceland is worth every penny. We had the best time and felt like we had a real taste of Iceland. Having being injured and on crutches I was not able to travel far in Iceland when we visited. This allowed me to get a real feel for the Country and also want to come back and explore more when I am on my feet again.

A really unique experience of swimming at -10 degree between the plates. Cristo and the rest of the crew were super friendly and funny, they made us enjoy even walking on a frozen suit at the end! We 100% recommend it.

Doris was a great guide! Helped us get into our drysuits (not an easy task), walked us through each step of the equipment and movements necessary to stay safe and get the most enjoyment out of the time in the water. The views are even more incredible in person. She swam around the group ensuring that she got photos of each person and each couple at several points during the tour. Communication with Adventure Vikings was simple, they provided east to follow instructions to the meet location. Changing our visit to Fly Over Iceland was a easy as a quick email letting them know our preferred date/time (we went the day before our snorkel trip). Love the giant screen and the chance to see some of the scenery that we weren't going to be able to experience during our visit

This is a fun way to see parts of Iceland that are off the beaten path. It is a Disney-esque ride with 3 areas, but the highlight is the flyover which gives you incredible view of some of Iceland's prettiest places.

This was a lot of fun andi it provided a great opportunity to see all the different areas of Iceland. It felt like we were really flying so it could create some anxiety if you are afraid of heights (and it was a bit expensive), but we loved it. There is no opportunity to take photo's but they take a photo of you before entering which can be purchased after in the gift shop.

A stunning experience. The music was well suited to the ride, but a bit too loud. A great sense of flying, although sometimes too fast. The introductions before were mildly interesting, when we had come for the ride, and that, we felt, was too short (maybe 10-15 minutes).

Went with my two boys aged 6 and 12. We had a great time when we saw the show about Canada and Iceland. Great entertainment that was a big surprise for all of us. I recommend this for all families, as you get an even greater insight into how beautiful Icelandic nature is.

We did the fly over Iceland experience and it was worth every krona. After moving through a couple of small, informative cinema rooms you get strapped in to a roller coaster style seat and the real fun starts. An incredible 4D experience where you are flown around Iceland seeing it from a perspective that you would otherwise never be able to see. If you are only going to do one thing whilst in Reykjavik then this should be it.

Fantastic experience as you fly over volcanos with molten ash, flow with whales, over incredible landscapes and sea. It feels so real, you lift your feet as you fly up and up the tops of mountains

This is only for Fly Over Iceland- Outstanding. They have you come inside in small groups. There's a funny movie presentation with an Old Timer in an old hut. He gives a cool rundown on the basic history of Iceland. You're then sent into a room with a really cool multipart movie screen where there's another info movie about Iceland. This is very different than the first but strikingly beautiful. They then usher you into another room where they have you sit in roller coaster bench seat with safety belts to hold you in place. The lights go out, the bench seat lifts and then moves you forward so that you dangle over a seemingly empty space. The Imax-style movie then starts...and it is awesome!!!! You essentially fly all over the island from the city, over rivers and streams, through mountain saddles and down into crevaces. The movie lasts for perhaps 10-15 minutes and it is as beautiful as it is thrilling. Whomever put this together did an amazing job. I would hightly recommend the experience to anyone visiting Iceland.

Unique wonderful wonderful experience with Inès in Iceland , it was unforgettable because the first time I regained confidence at sea after experiencing a drowning in Uruguay a few years ago , I managed to overcome this trauma today thanks to Inès who knew how to help me with his confidence and sense of responsibility by being able to be extremely professional in addition to being very gentle and human. Hello, we have a very impressive trip with Adventure Viking Wilmar today! Snorkeling in the Silfra crevice! Great experience! The guide Wilmar, was top! Well explained, funny and with full commitment until the end! Despite rain a great experience!!! Danke Wilmar PS the best hot chocolate was afterwards!!!

It costs quite a bit more compared to his brother in Amsterdam (you tick off 40 euros for this dependency) but the experience is an adereline thrill. Small 8 minute flight over beautiful landscapes, craters and high mountains. Too bad the gassers and largest waterfall are not in it.
