Alex, our guide was good. Shared good information. No northern lights spotted at all. Asked to go back again next day but they said they are not operating. Wasted money and sleep over nothing.

Itinerary
Board a warm bus in Reykjavík and leave the bright city lights behind. We head into the dark Icelandic countryside in search of the magical Northern Lights. Your journey includes a relaxing drive through quiet landscapes, where the possibility of the aurora dancing across the sky is high. Along the way, your guide will share fascinating insights about Iceland, its folklore, and the science behind the aurora borealis. As we find the best viewing spot, chosen based on weather and visibility, you will be invited to step outside and look up at the vast, starry sky. To keep you comfortable while you wait, we will serve hot chocolate. With luck, the sky will come alive in dramatic shades of green, purple, and pink, creating memories you will cherish forever. While nature’s schedule can never be guaranteed, our experienced team will do everything possible to maximize your chances of a sighting.

Excellent service, guide [Abdel] was very friendly 👌, and kindly, was sharing many information about the northern lights, i can recommend for every one, From the first contract to the end you fell greatly
Our original night was canceled due to weather and forecasted probability, but they easily let us attend the next night. We went to 2 places and were able to see the aurora even with the clouds and rain.
I would strongly recommend choosing a different Northern Lights tour company when visiting Iceland, particularly if you have limited time and are hoping for a memorable experience. We booked this tour as part of a special trip celebrating my husband’s 50th birthday, and unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the most disappointing experiences of our entire vacation. Our original tour on October 8 was canceled due to weather, which we completely understood. We were rescheduled for October 9, but the experience itself was underwhelming. The transportation added very little value, communication was inadequate, and the overall experience fell well short of our expectations. We did not see the Northern Lights, but that is NOT the reason for this negative review. We fully understand that the Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and sightings can never be guaranteed. The real disappointment was how the company handled everything afterward. The company advertises a complimentary opportunity to try again if the lights aren’t visible. However, when we requested to reschedule for the following night on October 10, our final night in Iceland, we were told they could not accommodate us because they didn’t have enough passengers to operate another vehicle. Instead, we were offered a voucher with no expiration date. While that might sound generous, it is practically worthless to international travelers returning to the United States who have no plans to revisit Iceland. We requested even a partial refund, not simply because we didn’t see the lights, but because of the cumulative service issues, original cancellation, and inability to accommodate another attempt during our stay. Despite multiple communications and assurances that our concerns would be escalated, the company’s final response was essentially a one-sentence rejection citing its non-refundable policy. There was no meaningful acknowledgment of the actual service complaints, no proposed alternative, and no apparent effort to find a reasonable compromise. What disappointed us most wasn’t the weather. It was the lack of customer care, flexibility, and accountability. Iceland is a beautiful country, and there are many tour operators to choose from. Based on our experience, I would strongly advise booking with another company, especially if you’re visiting for a limited number of days. We would absolutely not book with this operator again.
That was awesome experience! Strongly recommended. Edgar was super friendly and well knowledgeable.
This excursion wasn’t the best. We were upgraded to a higher level of tour because ours was cancelled but we never got “the picture” they mentioned and the pastries were store bought day old tasting. We had a guide who clearly didn’t want to be out with us. If skip this if I had to go it over and just rent a car to chase the lights. This tour said they had equipment to “chase” the lights and not go where everyone else does but that’s not what our group of five experience!
Tour guide was nice. We didn’t see any northern lights and we only stayed in one spot for the 4 hours of the tour. Vehicle was cold and they wouldnt give a refund even though we saw absolutely nothing.
Even though we were unable to see the Northern lights, the team members were amazing chasing the best spots. Chocolate and pastries were delicious.
It was a great experience with Karol. We almost had very little to no activity with the lights on our trip, but Karol was persistent and even extended the tour slightly to ensure we saw the lights and got a photo. We had an amazing experience overall.
No time frame provided so I had no idea we’d be home so late. No lights- lots of waiting around! Do not go!
We had just gotten to Iceland and it was our first tour. Our driver saw the northern lights right away and we were not even to the first stopping point. We got so many great pictures. It was the perfect beginning to an amazing trip.
Well organised and fun tour with Nebo, despite only seeing one light it was still a good time as one is better than none. Pastries, hot chocolate and photos included, travel time not bad, would definitely recommend.
Our first time and we had an amazing experience the guide was great stopped in 3 locations and In all three we saw the northern lights. She was patience and freely took many picture from our own phone and her camera. They gave us hot chocalet and some pastries was nice but the hot chocalet was not good sorry :(. She also had hand warmers for us if we needed. It was a great experience thank you
I think this was the perfect way to view the lights. Nebo was a fantastic tour guide who was extremely knowledgeable and took us to some amazing spots. The hot chocolate and hand warmers were an excellent touch. Also his photos are amazing. I would highly recommend going on this tour in particular. Small group experience is so much better.
It was incredible. We were very lucky and treated to an amazing display from the northern lights. Thomas told fascinating stories about folklore.
This late evening trip was fabulous. Our guide Tomas was extremely knowledgeable about the Northern Lights, the stars and sky in general. He took photos with his professional camera of each passenger and worked really hard to get us a memorable experience of the Northern Lights - he did that, and this is largely because of his wealth of knowledge. Hot chocolate and Icelandic donuts were a nice touch.
Piotr was a great guide, despite the cloudy weather he continuously monitored the conditions and drove us to the best locations to help us see the lights. Would definitely recommend!
Piotr was amazing, hunting the northern lights was great fun with him. Great sense of humour, very knowledgeable, made our honeymoon!
Amazing experience from start to finish. Well looked after by a very knowledgeable and professional guide (Peter) who found the lights for us making the night very special
Laura, our Guide, was excellent, explaining where we were going and why we were going where the big tour groups weren’t. The location was fantastic, there was just the 15 of us on our 4x4 minibus there which was so much better than standing with 200 other people! She also explained the science behind the Northern Lights and how to interpret the data in the various apps to understand the likelihood of the Lights appearing. We watched the conditions improve with warm hot chocolate and Icelandic pastries and then the lights appeared and gave us an amazing show! Thank you Laura, you were amazing.
Amazing experience with Piotr. The tour was very enjoyable and we could see the norhern lights!! Thank Piotr for your patience with the photos!
Great expirience with our tour guide Pietrl . So much fun with him ! And we watched incredible auroras . Great pictures he took of all of us .
From start to finish, this Northern Lights tour was unforgettable. The guide was knowledgeable, friendly and truly passionate about helping everyone have the best chance to see the lights. He provided great insight into the science and folklore behind the aurora and even offered hot chocolate, pastry and hand warmers — small details that made a big difference on a chilly night! We were lucky enough to witness the sky come alive with color — waves of green dancing above us. Photos can’t do it justice — it’s something you have to feel in person. If you’re visiting Iceland, this experience is a must. Patient guides, comfortable transport, and a truly once-in-a-lifetime sight. I’ll never forget it! 💚✨
Absolutely brilliant Northern Lights tour! Piotr was warm, funny, and deeply passionate about Iceland, its people, and renewable energy. His stories made the night unforgettable, everything went smoothly, and his enthusiasm was contagious. The lights were dim but he made the trip great anyway! Highly recommend! 🌌✨
We had an awesome chase! We saw the lights, and the pastry and hot chocolate were absolutely delicious. The guide was amazing — so attentive to everything we needed. Thank you so much for a fabulous tour, we loved every moment! ❤️
I really liked the experience if it is worth separating with them , but not of I am the 5 stars because I had the option of Spanish and at the last moment they told me that it would not be possible and changed my time but if it is worth it because they explain everything but I recommend that you take photos because you take ugly photos
Great experience! I thank Tomas our guide for the professionalism kindness and patience in taking so many wonderful photos The tour then includes excellent hot chocolate and Icelandic pastries I recommend this professional tour operator!
Absolutely recommended, Karol our guide, has made the trip an experience. With a lot of humour and knowledge he guided us through the experience. He first drove us to one of the few places with non-cloudy skies that existed in the evening and then waited with us for the Northern Lights. He bridged the time with humor and nice stories and also shared his knowledge of the Iceland ponysc standing next to it. Pastries and hot cocoa served with it. In the end we were rewarded and saw beautiful northern lights. Karol himself celebrated every appearance like a feast, as if he himself were seeing the Northern Lights for the first time. Wonderfully infectious :-) a great experience, the tour we would book again and again, absolute "thumbs up"
Amazing..!!! at first there was not much expectation and suddenly appeared and it was amazing! our guide Laura super nice and the chocolate great 😋
Excellent excursion, the guide bothered a lot to find the best place to see them, at all times explained everything. Hot chocolate with the typical confection seemed wonderful. He also gave us some hand warmers that were very useful. Highly recommended for all the attention and treatment we received
Excellent excursion to see Northern Lights. The punctual and friendly guides were participatory with the group at all times, even taking photographs during the excursion, finally during the return we were offered doughnuts and hot chocolate.
