Wow wow wow Having visited a lot of spas in Iceland I can truly say for us this was the best! Its stunning design, sensitivity to the environment, thoughtful touches and ambiance made it by far our favourite spa. Things we loved. Ambiance, Zen feeling reminiscent of south East Asian spas. Tranquil music allowing you to just disk and watch the beautiful scenery. Exceptional design understanding, from entering the pools direct from the changing rooms, meaning you don’t get cold, to the inside bar entered through a covered area with lovely wood fire and electronic doors in the water! The bar area water is hotter too if you feel like a slightly elevated temperature. Easy access to drinks with electronic wrist band which is used for purchasing and lockers. Easy checkout outside the changing rooms with credit card electronic payments. The changing rooms are well designed with space not to feel rushed. Each locker has a designated numbered towel area for changing rooms. The showers are all separate enclosed showers, my only comment would be to increase the temperature slightly of the showers. The most wonderful sweet fragrances moss herbal shampoo, body wash and conditioner. I hope that the ambiance is maintained and this beautiful spa does not become a rowdy hangout like some. It really feels special. I loved every second and we sent several hours going from the pools, to the sauna, through the walkway of cold and hot water (great for circulation) and back again. I could have spent all day if I could! The car park is a 3-4 minute walk to the building which is on gravel which if you have mobility problems would be hard. There needs to be a small signpost for disabled parking which is a drive past the new villas and right. I couldn’t find this information on the website so perhaps that could be added. A lady in front of us was really struggling with a stick and had a hard time walking in the pebbles. You can register you car reg at reception once the cameras are up running. A note to the designers if Reykjabod what an exceptional job!!! Seriously the small touches considering seating colour to allow bathers not to smash their shins in seating, yes we’ve all done it at many other spas! Just a really small detail makes for happy bruise free legs. We loved the reflections on the water from one area to another, the grass on the roof, the seating areas and log fires. Truly exceptional! So much so that we’ve decided to return in a couple of weeks at the end of our holiday. Thank you for a great experience!

Relaxing and magical! The best night that we spent in Iceland.
Simple , stunning location , fabulous experience , well worth the entrance fee, far cheaper than other big hitters nearby , would highly recommend, thank you
Beautiful and very clean new hot springs! We loved our experience. The springs are nestled in such a beautiful "steam" valley and you can see waterfalls while soaking in hot water. Number one experience (better than Sky Spa in Reykyavik).
Great place for relaxing and enjoy nature
This hot spring was incredible. I have been to many of the springs in Iceland and I honestly think this one was my favorite. We did the bath house ticket which I felt was so worth it. It came with one free drink and when you are in the bathhouse you can move about the different rooms at your own pace and also go into the lagoon then back into the bathhouse whenever you please. The lounge area, decor, and lagoon were beautiful. The bar had a large selection. The locker rooms were spacious and the signature shampoo and condition left my hair so soft; I’m so upset I didn’t buy some to bring home! I would definitely make it a point to visit this hot spring and will 100% be going back.
What a beautiful hot spring! The thermal valley floor setting only adds to the beauty of this spa! We loved the design and lay out! Not overwhelming or intimidating what so ever. Helpful staff was a bonus!
Beautiful hot spring that didn't feel overwhelmed with people. We loved the spa area and the peaceful surroundings.
We love it here. Went twice in three days. Highly highly recommend !
My group of 5 visited for a few hours on a cold, windy day. Truly idyllic hot springs. The lockers and showers were nice. The giant hot pool was an incredible place to warm up, relax, have good conversation, and enjoy the views of Reykjadalur.
Outstanding experience! Will definitely be back.
This was one of the best experiences of our lives. It was clean, relaxing, easy-going, and not crowded. The showers, locker room, etc. were pristine. The swim up bar was also great and all staff were incredibly friendly. Couldn’t recommend more!
This hot spring experience was incredible! We did the signature admission on our final day in Iceland and we couldn’t have asked for a better way to end our trip.
Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to these beautiful facilities. Great hydrotherapy, great service, very beautiful setting. Uncrowded and relaxing.
Don’t miss this one! A true gem. Great locker rooms, amazing amenities and the bath houses are worth the extra $ We LOVED the snow room and the swim up bar.
We did the elevated experience and it was wonderful. We left feeling so relaxed. It was beautiful & so relaxing. Highly recommend
Overall the hot springs is worth for the value. Place is new and very quiet. It is very a comfortable place for recharge. However, I was treated rudely by one of the staff at bath house. She said I entered a restricted place and urged me to leave. First of all, I was new to this place and pls do not expect I know well where can go and where cannot go. I suggest to put up a sign or access the place only by the bracelet.
Excellent staff - very helpful. Lovely choice of facilities in the bathhouse.
The property was beautiful. The services felt luxurious and spa-like. Would definitely go back!
We had a really good and relaxed time at Reykjaböð. The surroundings were extremely well thought out and luxurious, with cool concepts and features in the bath house. If i had to say one thing about it, there could have been more options for the free drink available when buying the “exclusive package” in the bathhouse. The current selection is of one beer, red wine or Collab. We would have liked to have a larger variety of available drinks, like Sommersby or sodas/slushice - which all can be bought at the bar. Other than that the lagoon is super relaxing and the personnel are very kind and professionel, to guide and take care of you.
The baths are wonderful; the scenery is dramatically beautiful, and the building and decor are gorgeous. Nevertheless, they are not easy to find or reach when it is pouring. I chose the $148 entrance fee, but I cannot find what makes it worth more than the cheaper ticket. It is not worth the price.
Beautiful new buildings. However there were no signs even to get on the property! When I mentioned this to front desk he acted like it is obvious!
What a satisfying experience. It was a treat for the senses. The ultimate in relaxation. We went straight from the airport after a long travel day and felt prepared for the adventures before us.
Warm environment, staff, building and surroundings
10 out of 10 experience! Amazing place that I would come back to anytime! Its spacious and has a lot of different areas from saunas, stream rooms, smaller bassins with different temperatures and even a snow-room (if you choose the signature experience - which I would recommend) There’s cold plunges and a very big hot water lagoon with an in-water bar
I had big hopes for this place however was let down by lack of signage for parking (we ended up driving further on to a paid car park), misleading comms re signature package ( you have to have your inclusive drink BEFORE you enter the baths) and poor communication (once you have used the bath house, they don’t expect you to return after using the lagoon so they remove your slippers and robe!). For the price I expected more, having visited GeoSea and Nature Baths. It is newly opened, and whilst the lagoon was lovely, the flow of the experience isn’t quite right. It was also very busy in the lagoon after 4pm with people drinking and making quite a bit of noise.
Overall fantastic experience. This was our third lagoon visit of the trip and our second favorite overall while in some aspects it was our favorite. While being relatively new, the staff was very good. The lockers were our favorite of any of the lagoons and overall there was a very nice luxurious vibe to the place. Great beer and drink selection. We were the only ones with kids (10 plus year olds) and they loved it. Definitely more of an adult vibe / place however. The scenery and views were beautiful and the sauna and cold plunges were fantastic. Highly recommend.
We booked this for our last night in Iceland - and it was magical. It did seem that the staff was a bit disorganized, and I emailed them to ask about a possible change in our reservation and never got an answer. There was also no way to telephone to ask about the change. That being said, I'm optimistic that once they have been open for a bit longer, they will work out the kinks in their processes. The Bath House experience was really unique and lovely. We went from the snow room to the other warm experiences and then thoroughly enjoyed the hot springs/lagoon. It was the perfect way to end our time in Iceland.
I soaked at 12 different lagoons/hot springs on my trip and this was my overall favorite. Be sure to upgrade to the bathe house experience. Amazing!
This new spa was absolutely lovely. My friends and I visited Reykjaböð Hot Springs during the day before we flew back to Canada. It was the perfect way to end the trip. We loved the pool bar, the ambiance, and the different pools/sauna available. Staff were friendly and helpful. The most warm reception we received in Iceland. Some feedback - signage for the bathroom would be helpful. It took a bit to find. Additionally, we would recommend restricting phones in the pool. There were a lot of people floating around with selfie sticks, doing continuous filming. Not something my friends and I necessarily wanted to be caught in the background of.
The full experience was great! There are 9 sections you get to experience before actually going to the lagoon itself. it was peaceful and quiet throughout the whole time.
Loved the bath house and the cold plunge pools. So relaxing and really quiet. Would love to come again. Thank you 🤩
Beautiful bath house and thermal bath. Enjoyed every moment of it.
The people working at the hot springs are so kind and helpful. The facility is beautiful and well designed. It's very peaceful and visitors were respectful of the environment and each other.
This spa has only been open a few days and was right near where we were staying. It’s a stunning setting and beautiful spa. You get two drinks on your wrist band with the package we brought and access to the rituals area and lounge. My only negative comment was there was no non alcoholic versions available With the free drinks at the bar. So I had to buy soft drinks Staff lovely Would recommmend
We were lucky enough to come here right after it opened and let me tell ya, this place is beautiful! It wasn’t crowded and was so clean and relaxing. We did the spa ritual and it was definitely worth it doing the cold plunge/body scrub and saunas. We spent a few hours here and so glad we did! I would highly recommend this place to anyone coming to Iceland.
It was a lovely experience, and you could tell they just opened and are working out the kinks. It’s beautiful, relaxing, and has a great spa experience. Good price point, stayed about 4 hours, really enjoyed it.
The spa itself is very clean and a great experience. The parking lot is a short walk from the actual building and it isn’t well marked. This hot springs is 45mins from Reykjavík so it’s a destination.
A truly fantastic place — there is nothing else like it in Iceland! Every detail has been carefully designed, with beautiful wooden architecture, fireplaces, an abundance of plants, and so much space to relax. The snow room, saunas, and different relaxation areas make the whole experience feel very special and unique. We chose the Signature experience and spent 3 hours at Reykjaböð. We left feeling completely relaxed, refreshed, and very satisfied. The staff were also extremely friendly, polite, and helpful. Highly recommended!
A very enjoyable experience. Beautiful surroundings, relaxing atmosphere, and friendly service. Well worth a visit.
The baths were amazing, and there is honestly nothing I can fault about them – 100% the nicest natural pool in Iceland right now, in my opinion. What did slightly ruin the experience, though, was when we went to the restaurant afterwards to get something to eat. There was an Icelandic woman serving us who was unfortunately extremely rude. She got two of our dishes wrong, which is absolutely not a big deal and can happen, but she didn’t apologise for it and was irritated and rude towards us the entire time. It was especially disappointing because all the other staff members we interacted with were fantastic and the service was otherwise great. I’m not complaining, I just wanted to let you know about this so that you’re aware of the experience.
A unique experience in authentic Icelandic nature that far exceeded my expectations—I will definitely go back.
Beautiful, quiet, and nice outdoors with cold pools. Good restaurant next to the pool.
It was beautiful there. Invites you to relax, nicely secluded and everything very clean and well organized. 100% recommended.
At the entrance it seemed very difficult since I booked with TripAdvisor, I had paid for the large package, she was going to give me the small package, I had to show her my booking repeatedly. No instructions, the lockers would not close with my bracelet, I tried 6 lockers and lost 20 mins. Then, we were entitled to one drink each with our package. They charged us for it at the start, I had to insist so they wouldn't charge me because I had the package. But all in all, the spa is insane, the saunas, the bathhouses! The only person who was worth it was the lady who was in the bathhouse.
The thermal bath had just opened and is therefore ultra-modern, clean, and well-maintained. In terms of price-performance ratio, it was better than all the others we had visited.
