Prokov was one of the best tour guides we have ever used. He was friendly, knowledgeable and went beyond our expectations on the tour. The tour of the peninsula was fun, beautiful and timing of stops was very good. Although the day was long, it didn't seem that long because he kept us "hooked" on the scenery and conversation. Highly recommend this company and guide. One of the best and we have had many tours throughout Europe. Worth the money!

Tour guide Mat is very personable and provides a lot of information in a very entertaining way. Answers questions, assists tour participants, and makes the tours all the more memorable.

Hidden Iceland coordinated our Iceland trip from start to finish and they were responsive, thoughtful and had great suggestions. Each of the three guides Matej, Levi and Macin were great at sharing information and history and stories while guiding us through the best sites in Iceland. Our groups were small, we traveled in comfortable vehicles, and had a wonderful time. Our driver to the airport even suggested a quick stop at a Viking Festival along the way as we had plenty of time. An extra bonus which we loved,

This peninsula has breathtaking views and the trip provides a wide range of scenery including waterfalls, glacier views, black sand beaches and spectacular rock formations. This was our 2nd tour with Hidden Iceland and it was a beautiful day. Our guide Einar went above and beyond to make sure that everybody in the group of 9 had an enjoyable day. There are many sights on this trip that you will find yourself remembering long after your vacation is over. There are far fewer crowds at many of the sights on this tour than some of the other areas that you can reach within a day from Reykjavik, making it that much easier to feel like you are communing with nature. This is an excellent tour to include in your itinerary!

The Peninsula trip was amazing. Our guides Fannar and Ragnar could not have been more helpful. Exquisite scenery, beautiful waterfalls, amazing geyser, as well as super recommendations for the rest of our time in Iceland. Exceptional. Highly recommended.

Farnash (sp?) of Hidden Iceland was a fantastic guide! We traveled a long distance through snow, whiteouts, rain, sleet, and extremely windy conditions in a very comfortable and safe Mercedes minibus. It was a great tour. We learned so much about Iceland and the stories of the Hidden People and the myths and culture of Iceland. Our lunch was delicious. And our stops and the scenery along the way were amazing! It's funny. In other places, we may have been disappointed by the weather but somehow our driver/guide made the entire experience interesting and exciting and taught us the Icelandic expression - everything will work out in the end - which we came to embrace and appreciate.

Our family had a great day on the peninsula tour and we were so happy to have Matej as our driver and guide. He is so knowledgeable and shared lots of information about each place we visited. Lunch was delicious! Thank you Matej and Hidden Iceland for a wonderful tour!

It was a wonderful experience today and our tour guide was Einar, he is absolutely fantastic!!! He explained everything and has a great sense of humor. And just made the whole day so fun and an unforgettable experience for all of us. I highly recommend Hidden Iceland tours and Einar as the guide.

We took 2 tours with other companies in Iceland. This was our 3rd and last and we wish we would have taken them all with Hidden Iceland. Robert (whom I nicknamed Robert Frost) was our wonderful guide for this trip. He was a very safe driver and full of excellent information and good humour all day long. As an added benefit, one of Robert Frost's hobbies is photography and he happily offered to take pics of the Hubs and I which are among the best we have for these travels. The bus (Dolly) was super comfortable, warm and more spacious than the others we had toured in prior. It also had wifi, which was nice to be able to upload photos to socials as we traveled. Lunch was the best I ate in Iceland. Communication with the company agents before the tour was excellent and informative. All in all, this is a high quality operation and we had a perfect experience.

Snaefellsnes peninsula is a perfect place for nature-lovers; among lava fields, vulcanos, glaciers and waterfalls, you get a great taste of what makes Iceland such a unique and wonderful country. Be prepared for a long day, but one that is very much worthy because there is no shortage of amazing things to be seen and experienced. Doing this trip with Hidden Iceland and our great guide Prokop made it even better, strongly recommend it!

Our 2 Hidden Iceland day tours to Snaefellsness Peninsula and the Golden Circle were perfect! Our Guide, Robert, was terrific, with lots of fun stories and interesting Iceland facts that made the driving go quickly. We saw all the main sights, plus Robert managed to fit in some spectacular lesser known spots like an empty off-road stretch through a beautiful lava field. The group could tell we were in expert hands, so everyone could just relax and enjoy the magnificent landscapes.

This was, by far, the best of our tours. The bus was well equipped and comfortable. Carlos was an excellent driver and guide. He was professional and very knowledgeable. The tour was as described and more. It was a lovely sunny day with great visibility. The home made meal was great with plenty of choices. Thank you for a great day which we really enjoyed.

Wonderful tour of the peninsula. Our guide was excellent and went to every suite with us to tell us the history, stories, and show us plants, animals, best viewing points. He also took pictures for us. Lunch place was delicious. Great full day tour!

My nephew and I did this tour with Einar and we had a great day. The landscape of this peninsula was beautiful and I’m really glad I went. The lunch was great and Einar shared a lot of information on Iceland with us. He was a very friendly guy and was great with questions.

Loved this tour which is slightly off the popular southeast part of Iceland. This company truly understands tourism: small groups; flexible sightseeing; really comfortable bus and guides who know their stuff! So much to see. Highly recommended.

Enjoyed our trip which allowed us to see so many beautiful parts of Iceland. Our guide Maxim was wonderful (positive, knowledgeable, great sense of humor) and the van was super spacious which was important for such a long day on the van.

We did the Snaefellsnes Peninsula the first day followed by the Golden Circle the next day. Could not have asked for a better experience, from start to finish. This was our first visit to Iceland so when we started looking for tours we contacted a few companies with questions. Hidden Iceland always responded right away with informative answers and helpful suggestions. Booking the tours was seamless and communication prior to the tours was great, right up to an email the night before pickup. The vans were immaculate and very comfortable. We were a little concerned that the Snaefellsnes Peninsula tour may be a long day but it was so interesting with awe inspiring scenery that the day flew by. The Golden Circle tour the next day was an equally amazing trip. I’m sure all of the guides are fantastic but we can’t say enough good things about our guide Robert, that we were lucky enough to have both days. He does an incredible job showing and explaining the sites in and informative manner with an added wonderful sense of humour that had us laughing for 2 days. We would highly recommend Hidden Iceland!!

The tour was excellently put together with spectacular nature sights and a fantastic lunch spot. The tour group had the perfect size. We had a great and charming tourguide who provided entertaining and informative insights to teh sides and Icelandic life in general. Perfect all the way!

Long day... but oh soooooo worth it. Every turn was another vista. We couldn't get over the change in topography - mountains, beaches, waterfalls, quaint villages and more. Did we mention lunch.. gourmet food in a charming harbor town. Try the whale it's amazing. Our guide Einar was awesome, so engaging and informative. The small group experience is the only way to go if you're choosing a tour. By the end of the day you have new travel friends from around the world. We took three tours with Hidden Island and were thrilled with their experience, stories of Iceland and knowledge of the area. This is a great introduction to this amazing Country.

This tour ended up being a private tour for my group of four with Einar! We stayed in Iceland for a week and booked three tours with Hidden Iceland, and I could not recommend a better tour company. These guys are incredibly funny, have an undeniable love for this country, and will make you want your 8-13 hour tour to last longer. Einar was so personable and made the end of our tour extra special by allowing us to stop a few times to witness the northern lights on our drive back into Reykjavik. Booking with a smaller tour is definitely the best way to experience Iceland. Einar convinced me that Djúpalónssandur (one of the stops on this tour) is by far my favorite place in Iceland. Forever thankful your hospitality towards my family and I!

Our experience with Hidden Iceland was amazing. Einar was our guide for the one day trip and it was wonderful. He is knowledgeable, was patient and very welcoming just like the Icelandic people. Einar is wonderful and next time we come here we are asking for him specifically. This one day trip is must for tourists. As its a small group only of four people in the BENZ sprinter is definitely an awesome experience. The entire setup is great and everything happened without a hiccup. When we initially booked we were a little nervous about how things will pan out but they were on time for the pick up and everything was smooth. Iceland is wonderful and I am coming back to visit the places I couldn't cover this time. Thank you for the memories Einar and Hidden Iceland.

They planned different tours (glacier hike, Snaefellsnes Peninsula, glacier lagoon, volcanoes and thermals) over 5 days, arranged comfortable lodging every night, helped arrange covid testing and provided other practical advice, and set us up with terrific guides (Alberto and Asgeir) who were knowledgeable, friendly, took us to sites typically not seen by tourists, and felt more like family than tour guides. And Scott's team delivered blue skies and sunny weather for our glacier hike. We could not have imagined or wanted for a better experience and are already planning our return. Well done...I'd give 10 stars if I could!

We had the trip to Snaefellsnes peninsula and it was extraordinary!!! The route is magical. We have seen the famous Kirkjufell Mountain, icy waterfalls and Djupalonssandur Beach, which were magnificent. It was a semi-private group with the small minibus which felt like a road trip with friends. The icing on the cake was Ryan, our tour guide. He was polite, helpful, very descriptive and informative all the time. His knowledge for Iceland and his way of transferring that knowledge to people made the trip memorable. In a few words, Ryan is an incredible guy and truly a professional!!! Thank you Hidden Iceland!!!

This is a tour not to be missed with the outstanding scenery, delightful commentary by the tour guide, Bjorn, the outstanding food, and all of the little "extras" that Bjorn provided. Well worth the price.

We made this day trip with two adults with Hidden Iceland, an organization that had already guided us twice and with which we had good experiences. We don't understand why there were only four participants this time, including ourselves, because it is an incredibly beautiful tour, which is excellently organized and where we had a top guide in Símon! While driving in a beautiful Mercedes bus with panoramic windows, Símon, a born and raised Icelander, told us in detail about life in Iceland, how you can tell from the clouds above the mountains what the weather will be like, what advantages and challenges ' knows daily life here, how the landscape we drove through is shaped, and what things we were actually looking at with our mouths open. Because you don't see so many beautiful things unless someone points them out to you! Very nice that Símon was an excellent driver who knew the roads and their varying quality like the back of his hand. I really wouldn't have wanted to drive myself in a rental car on some parts. Lunch was included in the price and was in an excellent restaurant in a beautiful fishing village on the coast, where the cod is highly recommended. The tour went past so many beautiful places (you indeed see “everything in Iceland in one day trip”) that we soon had trouble keeping track of where we had all stopped and walked, and luckily Símon gave us a guide at the end. a map of the area with the route drawn on it: useful! It really helped us enjoy that we had beautiful, clear weather and long views in all directions, unobstructed by clouds, but in all types of weather this must be a fantastic tour, and we really liked the idea of having an experienced guide from a first-class organization, knows the weather conditions and the roads, knows what to do if the weather changes or if a strong wind around a high mountain suddenly hits the vehicles on the road from the side. These are circumstances that are normal for Iceland, but which you, as a 'ruralist', do not simply see coming. We highly recommend this tour and although we found it pricey when booking, we are convinced afterwards: worth every cent! Doing!
