Private Keflavik Airport Transfer (One Way)

On time, friendly and very helpful. We were very late and our driver was waiting for us until we cleared customs.

We booked airport transportation from KEF to our Reykjavik hotel on our arrival day AND a Golden Circle Tour for the next day with Oak Travel. From my initial contact and booking months in advance to the arrival day, I experienced quick responses to my many questions and even helpful suggestions with how to plan our visit with our group of 5 adults. Our flight from North Carolina was cancelled and we arrived 24 hours later than planned. Thorir with Oak Travel was responsive every step of the way as we scheduled around our unexpected delay. He was able to help us adapt our schedule and picked us up at KEF for our early morning arrival and then took us on an amazing tour of the Golden Circle. The van was clean and modern and he assisted with our luggage. This was our first visit to Iceland and he made us feel welcome as he shared the beauty of his country. He provided a wonderful start to our adventure. We highly recommend using Oak Travel for airport transportation and the tours that are offered. We hope to visit again - so much to see and do!

We scheduled our pickup for 8a for a 6:25a arrival to give us time to grab our bags and passport entry. Our flight was almost an hour early and we were actually ready to go in minutes so we still had a 2-hour wait. Our driver, Jon, had actually followed our flight and called us to tell us he was there waiting for us…so NO wait at all! We were about halfway into our drive when we realized one of our phones was accidentally left at the airport. Our driver immediately turned around and drove us back to get it. He even ran inside to get it for us! We did incur an additional fee; however, it was more than worth it to us. He narrated along the way to give us information and stories about the area. After finding out we didn’t have early access to our hotel room, he called the hotel to ask. They declined. Upon arrival, he took our luggage in and again asked them to please get us in a room as soon as possible. Jon offered to come back to the hotel and drive us to the lagoon a couple of hours later and we accepted. The hotel stored our luggage and went to a bakery that Jon suggested for breakfast. By 11a we had our room! Jon picked us up and drove us to the lagoon and told us to call him 1/2 hour before we wanted to leave. We were absolutely pleased with our experience! Jon even told us to call him if we might want to see something else in the area while we are here! We could not ask for a better experience! Highly recommend!

Driver was punctual -actually he was early!! He was ready to go when we returned from breakfast!!!!!

Driver was waiting for us at least 30 minutes before our scheduled arrival time! We took our time getting out of the airport thinking we had to wait for him but he was waiting for us!

Seggie was so sweet, pointed out sites on the way, gave us great tips about what to do and see, what to expect at the Blue Lagoon, and even helped us book our return trip to the airport (which we had forgotten). Saved us all the hustle and bustle of taking the bus. A great experience all in all.

Jon was wonderful. Showed up on time, introduced himself and was friendly and war from the get go. Handled our bags and gave us a bit of history about the places we passed in the way to the international airport in Reykjavik. He made a 5 AM ride to the airport fun and also took our bags inside and showed us exactly where to go to check bags and about going up to the gates and security. So helpful. I would recommend him to anyone who wants a great drive to the airport, which was about 50 minutes.

The drivers were punctual, informed, safe, personable, not overly conversant and made the experience very enjoyable. I would highly recommend this service, it made our arrival and transition to the cruise ship seamless and stress free. We paid for an additional tour of Reykjavík to cover all the basis and we received front of the line access to all the attraction and sites that other groups were lining up to see. Nothing in Iceland is inexpensive, but this tour and transfer were well worth the expenditure.

Driver was waiting for us in baggage claim . Our flight out of Newark NJ was delayed for 2 hours but driver tracked flight so he knew.

This service wonderful! We had to leave our hotel at 4 am to get to the airport and our driver was right on time. He assisted us with all of our bags and make the journey stress-free and smooth. Our driver waited patiently even though our flight was delayed, we were delayed getting off the plane, etc. He was incredibly helpful with managing our luggage and was very informative when I asked questions as we drove from the airport into the city (about a one hour trip). Prearranging this transportation was the smartest thing we could have done. Would do it again without blinking an eye.
