Kristín was amazing! Great stories. The most beautiful cemetery I’ve ever scene!
Our guide was personal, friendly and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed his family stories which brought I ELA six traditions and mythology to life. We saw so many landmarks in a way that was much more meaningful than the two of us walking around the City.
Einar gave us a good overview of Reykjavik with architectural, historical, literary and personal information. It’s was an easy walk and a good investment of our time.
We had a great folklore and food tour with Einar. He was such a great storyteller and had an amazing way of bringing the stories to life! This trip was our first time Iceland and Einar made our visit so much more memorable. Thank you Einar!
We had a great 3.5 hr tour with Einar. He is very talented, sang for us a few times, and loves the Folklore and history of Iceland. Very entertaing tour.
Stephan I was great and very informative. Nothing more to add. 100 character minimum is ridiculous requirement.
our tour was supposed to be 31/2 hours and stephan only toured us for 21/2 hours. i’d say it was very mediocre it could have been much more interesting
Ths was a great overview of reykjavik smattered with some stories to add a little sark. Our tour guide even sang some traditiibal icelandic lullabies for us!
Really good walking tour - lot of history and facts mixed with the folklore. Great guide who was fun as well as factual
Our guide, Hrafyn, was a delight to explore Reykjavik and learn the history and local folklore. He was very patient in answering questions and shared many stories. Found the ancient history of Iceland to present day a great lesson in perseverance and determination to maintain a culture and lifestyle. Truly enjoyable outing. Would highly recommend this tour with Hrafyn.
Absolutely loved this tour!! If you're a fan of cultural lore this is a must! Our guide, Stefan I., was the best! You could tell he loves the folklore of Iceland and being able to share it with visitors. If you can I'd asked for him specifically!
Great city with lots to see and a lot of history. People are super friendly, you really don't need cash since most places prefer credit cards
Our guide, Einar was fun and knowledgeable. We enjoyed the folklore aspect very much. Our guide was also very knowledgeable about the history of Iceland.
This was a wonderful introduction to Reykjavik and Iceland. Einar made the history of the Iceland and the Vikings come to life with his story telling which brought to life the stories of Iceland. The walk was very enjoyable and Einar showed us all of the sites of Reykjavik to include some of his personal locations. This tour was well worth the time and money and I would recommend it to all for an overview of both Iceland and Reykjavik.
Our walking tour was an experience that allowed us to learn information about the city of Reykjavík, the culture, and Icelandic folklore. Mr. Alvaro accompanied us both to the most well-known places of interest and to places we would have had a hard time going to on our own, always showing himself to be kind and friendly and willing to answer all our questions.
The tour was individual-interesting-Icelandic with great insights and history(s) and therefore highly recommended. Thank you Laufy!
