We're a group of friends traveling specifically to see the northern lights, we were very lucky to have been paired with Sultan, not only was he very knowledgeable about the local weather and sighting conditions, but was also very invested in our seeing the lights and making the trip special. The night we went out happened to be particularly windy and had snow being push around, Sultan stayed out well past 1am with us to ensure we found a good spot with opening for visibility, other guided tours had turned back at midnight. Highly recommend!

It was one the unforgettable experience and life-time experience. Very professional, knowledge, and friendly tour operator. Amazing part that he also nicely explained the scientific phenomena, lure-folks and showed best of tricks to capture northern lights. We drove for around 35minutes to reach a fantastic spot to capture NLs. Worth it, and I would love to go back again to combine with some glacier background or with waterfall. I booked a private Northern Lights tour with Iceland Paradise Tours. Sultan was our guide and he was very professional and knowledgeable. We learned alot about Iceland and the history of the Northern Lights. On our scheduled night, even though it was very cloudy, Sultan still took us out and was very determined to find the lights. Unfortunately we couldn’t find any but were able to reschedule to a later night. The second night we had more luck. We really appreciated his efforts to fulfill one of our trip goals. If we ever come back to visit Iceland again, we would definitely book another tour with Iceland Paradise Tours and Sultan.

I had Sultan the Guide for my tour - if you can you should request him! He was super knowledgeable and funny l, he really made the trip unique. The pickup from Reykjavik was super easy (I went from bus stop 6), and we stopped at a few places with amazing views of the lights and landscapes! I had a few problems with my flights and they were super helpful in rebooking my slot - when I come back I will definitely book with you again! Thanks for an amazing experience

This was our first day of tour and it was an unforgettable experience! From start to finish it was well-organized, with a knowledgeable and friendly guide Sultan, who made the evening both educational and exciting. Sultan kept us informed about the aurora forecast and shared the science. He even helped set up our cameras to capture the stunning display! The most appreciable things is he is very flexible. He also provided warm blankets and hot chocolates which added a cozy touch to the chilly night.

What a night! We were fortunate to have a completely clear sky for our one night to see the Northern Lights. Our driver quickly got us to a great location to take it all in. I gave 4 stars because he was an hour late picking us up - maybe due to miscommunication; who knows. But otherwise, well worth the expense.

Sultan was an extremely humble, gracious and friendly host who went out of his way to give us a great experience and capture amazing photos of us. He even stayed a lot longer than other tour groups who were at the same spot to maximise our chances of seeing the lights. A fantastic person and experience.

We contacted Sultan to do this tour and he was great! Our tour was scheduled for Friday night, snowstorm, Saturday night, more snow, then Sunday!! It happened. We drove out of Reykjavík about 45 min….and we saw the lights!! Sultan took great pictures of us and even had hot chocolate and other snacks when we waited for a bit to see if the lights would be stronger. Ours were perfect….we were SO happy to have seen them! Recommend Sultan for this tour!! 👍👍

Paradise I’m just back from a fabulous and very busy 3 days in Iceland! I used Iceland Paradise Tours for all trips from return airport trips to Aurora hunt to South Island tour!! Sultan helped me build the perfect itinerary from start to finish. Every detail was catered to and the communication from Sultan and his team was flawless. I knew every minute what was happening via text or call. We were very fortunate to see the Aurora on our first night with Sultan. He is very knowledgeable all things Iceland and Aurora!! His beautiful wife made us Lava hot chocolate which was delicious!! The pictures Sultan took were outstanding, we were so overwhelmed with the beauty of Iceland and the Northern Lights!! Kjartan was our guide for the Southern Island tour and he entertained us the whole 8/9 hours of tour it was fantastic. His indepth knowledge of his land and its history was fascinating. He had us laughing all day and took us to some beautiful places. Stunning scenery. Now some will say 3 days isn’t enough but if it’s all you have, you work with it. Sultan knew we only had a few days and maximised this to full. We seen many waterfalls, geothermal springs, Game of Thrones areas, Sky Lagoon, Perlan Museum, Flyover Iceland, Black Beach, glaciers, volcanos plus we ate in a few gorgeous restaurants!!! We joined a Northern Lights tour with Sultan as our guide, and while the lights were a bit shy that evening, his dedication and effort made the experience unforgettable. Sultan went above and beyond, driving to multiple locations in search of the best spots to catch a glimpse of the aurora. Even though nature didn’t fully cooperate, Sultan’s passion and determination were clear. He wasn’t satisfied with just a partial experience, so he generously offered us a voucher to return and try again at any time in the next 3 years. To top it off, Sultan makes the most delicious hot chocolate, which kept us warm and cozy throughout the tour. His knowledge, enthusiasm, and commitment to providing an excellent experience were truly impressive. Our Northern Lights tour with Sultan was absolutely unforgetful. we flew from Saudi Arabia with Qatar airways to Keflavik iceland and witnessing the auroras dancing in the night sky felt like a dream. Sultan's (our guide the ironman of my tour) knowledge and friendly personality made the experience even more special , as he shared tips for capturing the best photos and explained the science behind this natural phenomenon. The one thing on my bucket list was to see the northern lights. And, Sultan’s guide Thomas found us the perfect spot to see this natural phenomenon on a clear night! It was a spectacular evening - although freezing!!

We did a private Northern Light tour with Adnan. We agreed to visit the two waterfalls hoping to see the lights there. But fate had its plans. We saw beautiful waterfalls but no lights. Adnan kept eyes on the aurora alert and we stopped at three different spots to see beautiful lights. It was freezing (minus 13) so he made sure that as soon as we came inside the car, we were blasted off with warm air (super thanks). He had amazing hot chocolate that kept us going. A fantastioc trip.

It was a great experience. Adnan took extra care to make sure we see the northern lights. We were lucky and saw the lights after 1230 am , thanks to Adnan who went extra mile. He was a safe driver and looked after his passengers and their needs very well.

Had a great time with the family. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the northern lights and took us to a spot where he took photos of us and others. He educated us about why we see the phenomenon of the northern lights. It was a special treat also getting some hot chocolate and biscuits after being out in the cold! We made the booking at short notice for a tour to start the same night at 8pm. After confirming the booking I spoke with our guide, Sultan, to ask what he thought the chances of seeing the lights was. He said he’d check his weather sources and get back to me. True to his word he got back to me and said the conditions were favourable and he’d collect us from our hotel at 10pm. We drove for about 40 minutes before Sultan said he could see signs of the Aurora and promptly parked up for us to get out of the vehicle to wait for the show. Amazingly the lights started to appear on cue for us and it was a marvellous sight to see. Sultan erected his tripod, set up his camera and started taking photographs of us and the wonderful lights. It was perfect timing and a great experience. After the lights had finished we got back in the comfort and warmth of the vehicle and Sultan served us hot chocolate and biscuits. Tremendous! I highly recommend this experience and hope you have the success we did in searching for the Northern Lights. Thank you Sultan.

Sultan delivered an amazing Northern Lights Experience. This was our main goal for visiting Iceland as it has been on our bucket list. Sultan monitored the weather and app he had to ensure we had the best chance at seeing the lights. He brought hot chocolate and treats and took great pictures of the experience. Highly recommend.

I took the Northern Lights tour with Sultan, renowned as the King of Northern Lights tours in Iceland, and he certainly lived up to his reputation. His expertise in finding the perfect spot for viewing the lights was remarkable, relying on a mix of advanced apps on his phone and an almost instinctive sense of where to go. The lights were dancing and it was truly a memorable experience. There were strong winds that night, which caused his expensive camera to fall and break off the tripod while he was trying to capture photos of me. Throughout the tour, he shared valuable insights about different parts of Reykjavik, paired with plenty of funny jokes. We wrapped up the night with hot chocolate, the perfect treat after the chilling Icelandic cold.

I highly recommend Iceland Paradise Tours and in particular Sultan as a guide. We had the good fortunate to connect with Sultan on a Northern Lights Tour. Sultan was simply phenomenal and thought of everything. He picked us up on time, knew exactly where to go, checked several apps to ensure we had the best chance of viewing the northern lights, took amazing pictures of the lights and us. In addition, he had snacks for us including homemade hot chocolate that his wife had freshly made before the trip.

We were taken to a place far away from the city. The 6 of us were freezing but it’s worth it. Sultan kept checking the activity level of the lights and had his professional camera stood by. Finally even though the activity level was weak we were able to capture a nice photo.

I used these for airport pickup and drop off. They were on-time and professional. I recommend them. I also went out on an aurora spotting trip and although the aurora were elusive due to poor weather our driver did his best and drove us for 4 hours to several places to keep trying.

Our group of 8 recently traveled to Iceland with the Northern Lights being at the top of our list of things to see. We made reservations for 3 different nights to see the lights with 3 different companies thinking we had our bases covered. All of these tours were cancelled due to weather but we heard of other groups seeing the lights on those same nights. We reached out to Sultan at Iceland ParadiseTours as a last chance. He agreed to take us out and was determined to do everything he could for us to see the lights. He was extremely knowledgeable and the trip was a success!! We had an amazing time in Reykjavík with our guide sultan. We used sultan’s services for several trips and he was always on time and ready to give us any tips he could to make our trip more memorable. I have to give sultan a 5 star rating for our northern lights tours , despite the temperature being a cool -23 degrees he stayed out with us until we got to see the northern dancing in the sky and took a lot of photos for our group, truly a trip to remember.

Sultan was a passionate guide. He gets very excited about sharing his knowledge of the northern lights. He has he studies the weather map to find a place with low probability of clouds and a high probability of Northern lights. He made sure to get a picture of everyone and send it to them. He instructs you on how to get the best picture with your own phone camera. It was a wonderful experience. We saw lots of lights for about an hour and were allowed to go into the bus for warmth when needed.

If you want a guide who makes extra effort for you to have the best experience, book him NOW! He brought us to places to hunt the Northen Lights when others are saying it will most likely be cancelled due to the heavy rain. He provided us with the the best hot chocolate and home made cookies made by his wife while we were waiting dor the sky to clear up and eventually, we were able to see it! Though it was hiding beneath the clouds and would’ve been a lot better if it was a clear night sky, we were still glad to be able to faintly see it and made us tick it from our bucket list and he even took nice photographs of us using his professional Camera.

The tour operator (The King of Northern Lights) was excellent. He took us around telling us the history and reasons behind them whilst working hard to locate them on a cloudy night. He found a clear area and we saw the lights. He showed how to get photos and also took photos of all his guests. Wonderful experience all round. Highly recommend.
