Guide Flavia worked hard to find the Aurora on a cloudy night where it was not easy. 5* for Flavia’s peristence

Even though the weather wasn’t great they still made an effort to make it the best experience it could be. We drove out a bit further then usual to get the best possible chance of seeing them (which we did). Our guide Flavia couldn’t have been more friendly. She was more then welcome to get photos of you which i really appreciated. It may have not been exactly what it looks like on the pictures it was still nice to see. Recommend for anyone looking for a quieter tour.

Flavia was great, she managed to find us some clear skies on a very cloudy and rainy night resulting in a successful outing! Our third attempt to see the northern lights and the first success- mostly down to Flavia!

A long drive to see the lights, unfortunately the weather was against us but Flavia drove like the wind to make sure we found a spot where the sky was clear & we caught a glimpse. A good trip non the less

Great trip. Pick up at bus stop 9 . We drove for a while & no luck . We had heavy rain the day before & trip was rearranged, after a clear day there was more rain & it seemed unlikely we'd see them After 90 mins we found a good spot , saw a few green specs but only with the camera. Then we had a few pictures & the guide was determined to get us all seeing them with the naked eye. Suddenly he was excited & there they were the northern lights. We all had new pictures , there was even a proposal. Hot choc needed as it was cold . Timings were flexible & as it was now midnight and we still had over an hour back to rejkavik. The guide was keen we were 100% satisfied. It was well worth the cost for a small group experience.

Absolutely unreal experience and Abdul the tour guide was amazing. So enthusiastic and was so determined to get us to see the lights. Literally chased them down. Also got engaged and he helped my partner with photos ect. Thank you.

Nebo Was our tour guide who did an excellent service in finding the northern lights for our trip. He was diligent in our journey of adventure and fun. Not to mention his hot chocolate served up was warmly welcomed! Thanks For Your Hospitality

Our guide was Nebo and he really raced us to get to the right spots. After a while driving we saw a little bit of Aurora and he was on top of the predictions. So he told us to wait 20 min. He gave us some hot chocolate and a nice pastry that had a hint of bergamot like earl grey tea. Then we saw the incredible lights and he told us how to take pictures and also made pics of us with his camera

Nebo invested a lot of time and effort on a rainy and overcast night to find us clear skies and an opportunity to see the aurora. He gamely took photos and gave tips on how to best use your phone. The tour itself is very expensive and if you have a rental car you could probably do it yourself, but you have to know where to look, which is where the real value of a guide comes in.

Saw lights on second time trying. Great pick up. Nice bus. Really great viewing of the lights on second attempt and guide did really try in 1st night Especially appreciated v quick whatsapp comms

We would like to thank you Nacho for his kindness and patience to chase the nothern lights and move quickly to chase them. It was really a mesmerizing experience that we won’t forget ! We were so blessed to being able to see them such a long time even if we had to try several times to see them… Thanks also to the Nordur Customer care and the other guides that was always kind and reactive even when the weather condition wasn’t that great (seeing northern lights is never guaranteed but I guarantee that they try their best to see them :-)). Edgar has been a brilliant guide and driver; he took us to a snowy area where we were able to see some beautiful northern lights, took some spectacular photos of us and was very clear in all his explanations – it’s been a brilliant experience. He deserves a 10.

This tour was a great experience and very beginner-friendly for people seeing the Aurora lights for their first time! Edgar was very informative kind and educational throughout the whole tour! The drive there and back was very safe and enjoyable! Edgar took very beautiful pictures with his camera that will be sent out which is a great option for people who don’t have night mode available on their phone camera! The company and Edgar were very accommodating to be able to pick us up from our hotel as our hotel is not in Reykjavík but in a city nearby, which was much appreciated!

Booked the trip and then saw them the night before in the city. We went anyway and we was blown away. The lights were incredible and it was super peaceful which was a bonus. Loved it! Tour guide was lovely and was Edgar ☺️

Seeing the Northern Lights was a bucket list item for my wife and I. We booked with Nordur due to the positive reviews on Trip Advisor. The communication through WhatsApp was timely and let us know when we were the next stop for their minibus. Night one was a bust due to very cloudy skies - Edgar tried several locations and it was a late night but no lights. On the return to Reykjavik he recommended contacting the office to pick another evening. We were booked for the next night with no charge and told to cross our fingers. Our guide on night two was Abdel. Happy to say we had much clearer skies and we found a location with no other tour companies. We then spent over an hour seeing a show in the sky. Abdel was very enthusiastically taking pictures for everyone and despite it being a very cold night everyone was very happy with the evening. Great experience all around.

Bucket list experience! Excellent tour. Our guide Edgar shared his obviously extensive knowledge whilst getting us to the right place at exactly the right time to witness the Northern Lights in all their truly magnificent glory.

Great experience - our guide Edgar was very informative and friendly. We saw lots of Northern lights and were ready to leave but he convinced us to stay for another 15 minutes for the best lkghts of the evening.
