Terrible Customer Service!! While we went into this tour knowing the lights are a natural phenomenon and never guaranteed, we expected a professionally run operation. Instead our van was stuck in the mud after pulling over on the first stop leaving us stranded for close to 2 hours in the dark and cold - for almost half of our tour time!! The description of the vehicle said it was a 4X4 , however, it sure did not seem like that was the case! I understand that equipment failure happens and this was not a purposeful event, however how a company handles something like this defines their business. Refusing to offer any refund or compensation and claiming the itinerary was” completed as planned” is absurd and shows a total disregard for their paying guests. Stranding your customers in the cold for close to 2 hours is not a Northern lights tour!!! Look elsewhere for company that values customer service because Nordur Travel clearly does not!!!!

Amazing tour and our driver / guide Nebo ensured we saw the lights! Every placed we stopped at was an incredible display of this natural phenomenon! Highly recommend. Hot chocolate and pastries were delicious. Dress warm!

Lorenzo is one of the best guides, I truly recommend him to hunt the northern lights, I hope I can have other tours with him. Continuous with a great job.

This was such a fantastic experience! Both our guide (Sergio) and everyone we communicated with was so friendly and went above and beyond to create a great experience. Sergio took his time to help us set up our phones to get our own pictures as well as taking as many as we want on his camera! One of the best nights of this trip.

We had a nice time on our Northern lights excursion. Van was comfortable, the team knew the best viewing spot - even on a night where visibility was questionable. Sergio was lovely and took amazing photos capturing special moments for us! Overall recommend for your Iceland trip.

It was a cloudy night but our guide Marieke did well to find a good spot where the clouds cleared up. After a bit of time we got a great show of the northern lights.

Marieke worked very hard and was very professional to make sure we all had an excellent experience. She researched in advance the best locations and time for the solar light show that night. Would not have been able to find the right spot without going on the tour.

Marike was a great tour guide. She did not give up in trying to find a great place for us to be able to see the lights. It took time but in the end we were able to see them quite well.

We saw the Northern Lights!! Marika was the greatest guide, she made the entire experience fun. I can't wait to see all the photos from our excursion.

Amazing!! Standing outside in the cold for three hours our fabulous tour guide Kel kept telling us patience it’s coming and she did! The sky opened up and showed us her lights. Kel jumped around helping everyone with photos. Can’t say enough positive words. Thank you Kel!!!!

It was beautiful, despite the extreme wind and cold really seeing the lights is feeling the embrace of God, and now accompanied by the moon, Karl and Lorenzo very kind. An experience that everyone must live.

Edgar was great! Although the weather was not the best because it rained a lot, however Edgar sought a clear area and we could see the auroras without problem!!!

I had inconvenience in the schedules the day I had contracted the tour and I want to highlight the understanding of the agency that agreed without cost to pass me the excursion for another day. The experience was excellent, the treatment and the search for the auroras, that it was only possible to see them through cell phones. Excellent experience. Guide Edgar takes pictures of each of the group. Mostly English-speaking group, but I had the Spanish translation. I recommend this agency, because in the place we parked you are only two combis and therefore few people.

It's a great experience, unfortunately the weather didn't help and we couldn't see much, it would help if they added in the pre-trip information that they recommend carrying good resolution camera to be able to take good photos

At short notice we booked the excursion Northern Lights with 4 × 4 minibus. The organization was perfect, the ride with Marika to the right place, the weather could not be better and we saw the Northern Lights “to order”, for us a huge joy. Thanks , we didn't expect to see such beautiful Northern Lights in August.

Our guide Kel was very friendly and strived for a pleasant experience. I definitely recommend it. I pass by our hotel, and from there he explained what factors had to occur to observe auroras. Then we got to a place where we could observe the Northern Lights.
