I can't say enough about Viator and the ship to airport experience! It was our first trip to Iceland and our first cruise. We were very worried about getting to the airport on time for our early flight, and our driver (so sad I can't remember his name) was right there with a sign and right on time! It took such a lot of worry away from that part of the trip. He helped with our luggage and was a great driver. Unfortunately, I left my cellphone wallet in his car but between him and calls to the operator, I got it back without having a heart attack. I know it was very inconvenient for both of them, but they did it with such kindness and grace. The airport was crazy busy after the eclipse, and he still managed to be where I could see him. A genuinely good man. It would have been very difficult to replace everything in that cellphone wallet + the cellphone itself.
Great experience. Very professional. Picked us up on time, early in fact, and got us to our next destination. The convenience of a private transfer was worth it.

After Delta Airlines cancelled our flights twice we finally made it to Iceland. I was in contact several times via email with the company and they were wonderful. Even though the night they were in contact. The cruise ship had already left port. This service drove us over seven hours to the next port and we were able to get on the ship. Martin was our driver and he was the nicest, kindest and professional driver we could have wished for.
The private transfer service was great. Our driver showed up at the airport almost 30 minutes early and since it were much quicker through customs than we planned we did not need to wait long before we were on the road. Private car was clean and we felt safe.

Once booked communication with the taxi company was very good, but they didn’t show up at the prearranged time. I called and they kept telling me the driver was close, but in reality they were just stringing me along. I’m leaving a 1 star review mainly because it’s completely unnecessary to prearrange a ride to anywhere from the cruise port. There is a taxi stand with seemingly unlimited drivers just waiting to take you where you want to go, just do that. Our driver was a little more than 30 minutes late and it was difficult just looking at all those taxis I could’ve just walked up to.
Ali was a wonderful driver. He provided us with an overview of Iceland and provided dining suggestions. In addition, he phoned as we were walking to the baggage claim area to inform us he was in the waiting area. Would highly suggest using this service!

Only give it a three-star, but it does not have to do with the company it has to do with the driver. Although on time he never came to find us at the ship's exit like all the other drivers. Called us and told us to find the white van of which there are many in the parking lot. It was a bit unprofessional not to be at the ship's exit for us like all the other drivers, especially since we were standing in the rain trying to find him. Would recommend hoping other drivers are better.

Excellent service, company reached out through Viator messaging a few days prior to confirm which cruise line we would be sailing on. The driver arrived early and reached out by WhatsApp and was then waiting inside the pick up area with a sign for a us. I would definitely use this service again if I was visiting Iceland.

This was just a transfer service, but the driver was early as were we so we got to Keflavik a bit early. He also pointed out volcanic activity on the was which wasn't part of our excursion. I was probably a high maintenance user but the emails questions were answered quickly and made my concern for making our flight disappear.

Viator was provided ground transportation when my husband and I needed transportation at the last minute, due to flight changes. It is good to know Viator was available.
This booking is basically for a prepaid taxi. My taxi driver was wonderful, and the ride was very nice, and a reasonable price. However, I am giving a poor rating simply because I was told that Viator never gave this booking to the taxi company prior to my arrival at the cruise terminal. Only when I contacted the taxi company by phone (trying to confirm where I should wait for my driver) did they becone aware that I had a prepaid booking. The drivers for this taxi company started calling each other trying to find someone available to pick me up - I lucked out and only had to wait perhaps 15 minutes past my scheduled pickup time. So the taxi company did a great job here, but Viator really dropped the ball. If you book this through Viator, consider being proactive and reach out to the taxi operator before your trip and confirm that they actually have your booking.

The reason for the 1 star rating is I reserved private pickup for a very high cost and was picked up in a taxi cab. Had I not reserved private service in advance my fare to the airport would have cost less then half of what i paid. I will not recommend this service until someone can either refund the overcharge cost to me and explain to me why a taxi was taking me to the airport and cost was for private service
We booked a car to take us from the cruise port in Reykjavik to the airport (KEF)..about a 45 minute drive. The pickup details and destination were provided to us in advance and were very clear & easy. We actually got off of our boat 10 minutes prior to the designated pick-up time and were SO happy to see that our driver was already there and waiting for us! The vehicle was a spacious and very clean minivan, so we had ample room for our luggage, etc., and the driver was polite and very professional. I would 100% recommend using this service especially since taxis around Iceland can be a little scarce and rather pricey. Having the security of a scheduled pickup, booked through a reputable source such as Viator, took so much of the anxiety out of getting to a fairly distant airport for an early morning international flight.
Our driver was waiting for us at the scheduled 6:30 am time. He loaded the luggage for the 6 of us and got us expeditiously to the KEF airport. And the cost was less than half that of the transfers from the ship.
