Keflavik Airport One Way Private Transfer To-from Reykjavik

Timely communication before and the day of the airport transfer. I would recommend the service to others.

I was hoping for a good experience, however my driver was not waiting for in the arrival hall in KEF airport in Iceland. Our flight arrived early, but I had to wait for transport assistance. I communicated this with him. We went to through border control and badge claim fairly quickly. Upon arriving in arrival hall, he was nowhere to be seen. I had to call him. My airport transport assistant was required to walk out to his car in the misty rain, once he came in to connect with me. He was quite rude and didn’t seem to care. This was unacceptable.

Had to pay extra because the flight was delayed and passport control took an hour The driver was very patient and accommodating

Driver contacted me via phone and we arranged for meeting. There were four of us with a lot of luggage. He handled all of it. Drive was safe and direct to our hotel. Very good.

We had very little time to get from our ship to the airport and stand in several very long lines to catch an 11 am flight. We were able to get off the ship early, contacted our Mozio representative by WhatsApp, and he sent us an earlier driver! The lines were so long at the airport that if the company had not sent us the nice driver 35-40 minutes earlier, we would have missed our flight. I highly recommend this company because of the ease of keeping in touch and their flexibility. 5 stars!!

Be aware if transfers are delayed due to late flight arrivals. There was nobody to meet us at airport, & when we made contact they advised they left after 45 minutes, even though Viator states upto 90 minutes wait time, complimentary. We were at arrivals well within the 45 minutes. About 3 minutes from our hotel destination in Rekyavik, our driver turned to us & said “I don’t want to be a dic@ Head, but there is €50 fee for waiting more than 45 minutes.”We refused to pay, he refused to drop us off & threatened to return us to the airport. After a 20 minute standoff, we had no option but to pay. We reported this matter to Ace at Viator, who promised a full investigation with a response ASAP. To date, have heard nothing from Viator. As regular travellers & users of Viator, we were left very shocked & distressed by the whole event. Our travel plans for the 2 days prior to our transfers were rather challenging & this last event by Viator service providers was bad.

We were told our flight would be watched and pick up time adjusted. We landed early and I contacted the company through Viator to them know we were early. They told us us the pick up time would stand at 8:45am and that was fine. However, the driver arrived after 9am. Then the vehicle was smaller than what I believe I paid for but he put some luggage in the front seat. However, he then dropped us at the wrong hotel! How is that possible?!?! I had to put the hotel address in when booking. We were at the Foss hotel and there are 4 in Reykjavik. He dropped us at the wrong one. I was able to call and have him come back and get us but he argued with me that he just followed the address he was given. But he was given it by his company, not me.

Driver is courteous. He came before time and was waiting for us. Vehicle is well maintained. Only negative aspect is he drives too fast. He was driving at 130 to 140 where speed limit was 90 on the highway. The rates are on the high side. You will find better rates if u book thru your hotel

I ordered the pickup at 10:45. Our plane arrived early (at 9am) and the driver was there shortly after. Keflavik is a nightmare right now trying to get through customs. He kept texting asking about our progress. It took us an hour and a half to get through customs. When we finally got through and collected our luggage, he informed us it would be another $57 dollars because he had to wait over an hour. However, had he showed up at the time I asked for, we would have just made the hour deadline. The fact it took us so long to clear customs was certainly not our fault and the fact he showed up long before I requested was not our fault. He got us to our hotel without incident, but I cannot recommend this carrier.

The driver was late and we had to make arrangements for other transportation to avoid missing our flight.

To begin with, I have used Viator Transfer Companies in other countries with very good results, so I know what to expect. On this trip we arrived in an early morning flight that was a little late. We exited the plane fast and went straight to customs. Customs took long to handle the crowds. I did not time it, but think about 45 minutes. Then straight to baggage claim and pick up the bags without delay and then directly to where our ride was to be. Also, my phone would not connect to service and I did have an international plan. I could not receive or send communications. Our group of four 71 years old and older, was left behind at the airport. We discovered at the pickup point our ride was not there. One of the phones in our group had service. I called the company and found out the driver had just left. It had been approx. an hour after our flight landed. I had prepaid for this ride. The company should know how long customs take and allowed time. Anyway, the driver was turned around and came back. Our total delay was about an hour. The service from that point was good, but leaving a ride because of delays at customs is unacceptable. By the way, we're were told that the warehouse where customs is has limited, if any phone reception. Anyone who would consider this company needs to understand the possible consequences.

The ride was on time and easy. Only minor complaint, weather was a bit drizzly and he didn't seem to want to get out of the van to let us know he was there (texted) and stayed under the protective tail gate when helping with the luggage.

It was not a van, like advertised. A personal car, hardly room for luggage, cracked windshield. Very tight squeeze for 4 adults. Service was on time.

The driver was punctual and contacted me a few times to make sure of our meet-up. The issue was the vehicle itself was a mess. Old, dirty, cracked windshield and seats. Not a good experience.

The driver was fine. He got us to our destination with no issues. I do not like scents in the car and, unfortunately, there was some kind of air freshener.

Communication with the driver was good and accurate. Be sure to communicate in whatsapp. Driver was on time.

The overall experience was awesome. I did a lot of research and picked this company because of all the great reviews. I’m so glad I did. They are the best. A few days before our reservation, the company reached out to confirm our pickup details. They were responsive, friendly and so helpful answering my questions. As soon as we landed, our driver texted to let us know they arrived and were waiting for us. Our driver, Sam, was fantastic. Thank you again!

DO NOT BOOK. Our flight came in late and customs took over an hour to get through. I booked for 7:45 for the driver to pick us up. We read that there was an hour grace period. We were ready for pick up at 8:10. In the time between when we landed and going through customs the driver called and said he was leaving because of the time our flight came in our timer started at 6:45. So make sure not to book for when you want to be picked up they won’t listen they won’t pick you up and they won’t give you a refund. Horrible customer service. And the driver was disgusting with his text and calls.

Even though our flight arrived early, our driver was already there waiting for us. Great communication throughout and efficient ride to our hotel. Would recommend.

The company was accommodating with trip disruptions, but charged us another $100. Our pickup was late and missed turns to our destination. We recommend using another service, like Flybus.

We got a taxi from the airport to Reykjavik - the driver was waiting at arrivals and it was very efficient and smooth journey

Driver informed last minute when he was going to be late to arrive but especially for transfers to airport, it is critical not to be late. Good service in helping with the luggage and friendliness. Reached in less than 45 mins.

Cannot say enough good things about Viking Transport Iceland! We were dropping off a rental car and multiple items caused us to be late to our scheduled pickup at the rental drop off location. We contacted our driver, Sam and he picked us up in a Tesla Model Y without any wait even though it was an hour later than our scheduled time. We also used Viking Transport Iceland and Sam to drive us to KEF. We will definitely use Viking Transport Iceland the next time we are in Reykjavik! Thank you for the great customer service!

Incredible! When our flight arrived an hour early, we expected to wait for pick up. Our driver tracked our flight and was already there! We used them for arrival and departure from the airport. He was always on time and would call and text you for communication. Would 10/10 recommend and use them again!

Excellent driver who went out of his way to not only safely get us to our destination but took a detour to get us close enough to an erupting volcano to take some spectacular photos. We also accidentally left one of our mobiles on the back seat of the car as it was dark and around midnight which he brought back to us at our hotel much to our relief. This was with the amazing help of our hotel receptionist who made an effort to locate the driver.

Driver was there and waiting. We had to switch airlines due to delays, and arrived at a different time than arranged. Company indicated they follow flights so they know when to pick you up. Driver was very pleasant. Nice, clean vehicle. Went directly to hotel.
