Skógafoss is one of Iceland's most iconic waterfalls, located on the southern coast. It drops an impressive 60 meters (197 feet) and spans 25 meters (82 feet) wide, creating a powerful curtain of water. Skógafoss is a must-see for anyone exploring Iceland's natural wonders.
Diamond Beach is a stunning black sand beach near Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon in southeast Iceland. It's famous for the glistening icebergs that wash ashore, resembling scattered diamonds against the dark sand. The contrast creates a truly unique and photogenic landscape, making it a favorite stop for visitors.
Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon is a breathtaking glacial lake in southeast Iceland, where icebergs break off from the Breiðamerkurjökull glacier and float serenely in the water. The lagoon’s deep blue tones and drifting ice create a surreal, ever-changing landscape. It's also home to seals and various bird species, making it a popular spot for photography.
Vík or black sand beach area is a small seaside village on Iceland’s south coast, known for its dramatic coastal scenery. Though small, it offers cozy restaurants and cafés, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing break during your journey.
Seljalandsfoss is one of Iceland’s most famous waterfalls, located just off the Ring Road in the south. It drops 60 meters (197 feet) from a cliff and is unique because visitors can walk behind the waterfall in the summertime for a truly immersive experience. In the wintertime the waterfall is lit up, which makes it a must-see stop for its beauty and unforgettable photo opportunities.

Jessica and the driver are doing very well. We enjoy the trip today. We go to diamond beach, black beach , red church , waterfalls x 3 and snow lake today. Nice trip and it’s worth to join again with Magic Iceland Travel.
Everything we expected plus more! Our guide Jessica was extremely professional and gave us all the tips. Ice Lagoon & Diamond Beach we're just unreal! This is a Mandarin speaking tour though. Jessica was nice enough to text me the important reminders in English so I won't miss anything! Highly recommended!
My day tour is really wonderful. Specially thanks to my Tour guide Jiayan Chen and Driver Rafal.
Accidentally booked this tour and found out it was Chinese guided, but I loved the itinerary for a great price so I decided to go. A special Thank you to the guide Martyna as she was very welcoming and wasn’t bothered explaining everything to me in English after she explained in Chinese. Had a great time at beautiful beaches and waterfalls.
Great experience! The tour was very well organized. Many thanks to our guide, Martyna, for making the trip even more enjoyable! 😊
This is a very shocking experience. The scenery in Iceland is really beautiful. I also saw the aurora in the last waterfall. This is a very lucky trip. Thanks to the tour guide paulina and the driver sparrow. Brought us this perfect trip.
The South Coast tour was hands-down one of the best tours I’ve ever taken in Iceland—and honestly, one of the best guided experiences anywhere. From start to finish, everything was exceptionally well organized. The itinerary is ambitious, but it never felt rushed. Each stop was thoughtfully timed, allowing us to truly take in the landscapes rather than just hopping off for photos. What really elevated the experience was the guide—knowledgeable, engaging, and genuinely passionate about Iceland. We even saw northern lights on the way back and he made the effort that we could stop for a good 15-20mins to take photos! The driving was safe and comfortable, which matters on such a long route. This tour delivers maximum value: world-class scenery, excellent pacing, and a seamless experience that makes a long day feel absolutely worth it. If you’re visiting Iceland and debating whether such South Coast is “too far” for a day tour—don’t hesitate. This one is a must. I would recommend this tour without reservation to anyone visiting Iceland. Truly unforgettable.
We had an absolutely wonderful experience that exceeded all expectations! A huge thank you to our driver Maciek for the safe and comfortable rides, and for the incredibly thoughtful extra trip to see the Northern Lights - it was an unforgettable surprise! We also want to highly recommend our guides, Maciek and Xiao Chen. Their service was impeccable, warm, and professional. A special shout-out to Magic for leading an exceptional day tour - it was perfectly organized, highly enjoyable, and Maciek is genuinely such a kind and great We highly recommend this team!
The full day trip was excellent!! We spend a great time with Eric and Yanet!! They were very nice and helpful, Eric help us to take photo and gave us some shopping advice and recommendations. Even though, it was a long trip, we really enjoyed the wonderful views and the snows. We were lucky enough to see a lot of different pieces of “diamonds” in Diamond Beach. And same in Vatnajökull glacier! Amazing blue glaciers rolling downstream building these beautiful landscapes. Will definitely revisit again!!
Really nice tour guide Eric and bus driver! We have seen black sand beach, diamond beach, iceberg and two waterfalls. Amazing views and experience! Hopefully see you again~
Our tour guide Eric and driver Yanet are very friendly and accommodating. There’s sufficient time for each spot. We especially loved the diamond beach, black sand beach, and the glacier. Would recommend!
I really like the introduction and service of Lucky and Magic! Fantastic experience of diamond beach and other tourist attractions, beautiful sceneries.
Pick up was smooth. Bus is on time. The itinerary was perfect. No hiccup. We managed to go to all our destination and took lots of photos. The tour manager was friendly and provided lots of information on this trip and history of Iceland as well. Lastly, we caught Aurora as well when we are on the back. Thank you very much for the arrangement. :)
I had an unforgettable experience on the Glacier Lagoon tour in Iceland. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, from the floating icebergs to the black-sand beaches, and everything was perfectly arranged. A special thank you to Paulina, our guide, who made the entire trip even more amazing. She was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. Her passion for Iceland and her thoughtful explanations helped us understand the stories behind every place we visited. She also took great care of everyone in the group and made the journey feel safe, comfortable, and fun.
Jessica, the tour guide, and Anna, the driver, were both conscientious and meticulous in their work.
Experience Iceland's entire journey with a guided, thoughtful treasure guide Text: The whole experience with the golden guide is particularly comfortable, with a fun and easy-going personality and a relaxed and joyful atmosphere along the way. The history and features of all the attractions in Iceland are explained carefully, know each machine well, specially black sand beach, glacial lake to help us choose the perfect photo angle, easy to take a large chunk of texture. The pace of the trip puts the controls just right, and play comfortably without rushing. Looking back on this trip to Iceland after most of the year is still fresh in my mind, and the overall experience is excellent. Highly recommended!
Good, good, good. The female guide is good, kind. Like it. 😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋
This tour was given to us by our guide Jessica and the driver. Slawomir. The experience was good, the guide was friendly, the headshot and tone of messaging were lovely, the knowledge reserve was very rich, as soon as you communicated you knew that it was someone who usually loved learning and was passionate about life. The overall trip was well arranged, and in the case of a late glacial lake cruise time was set aside to see Raineys Black Beach. This attraction was not required for this trip. Seal sightings at Diamond Beach were also timely reminders in the herd. Every boarding time was sent out in the herd, and there were toilets at almost every point along the way, which was very relaxing. What could be improved is that the guide can mention it at noon when he gets to Vik (and stop there for dinner, Jessica will remind you at that time), and there's a big black sand beach not far from the parking lot that feels more lonely and empty at the end of the world than Rennis's, and this side of the sand is fine sand, and Rennis's is black pebble. There are more Rennis, too, with everyone wearing floral and green assault suits, and the experience is now more like an online attraction. Also, I personally don't recommend buying an extra ticket for the Glacier Lake cruise in May because there aren't many icebergs, it doesn't feel very shocking and doesn't match the price of 50 euros.
Super enjoyed the trip, guide Penguin super nice, informative, chatty and sweet! Loved the ride today.
The guide penguin explained it in detail and was lively and interesting, having a very interesting day - the tour guide has great business skills and a good atmosphere!
It's one of the few day groups that includes classic South Shore attractions as well as a distant glacial lake, and although it's long, the bus is new and smellless and sits comfortably. The interval between stops at each point is also reasonable, and people who like to go to the bathroom, for example, think it's perfectly fine. The Icelandic winter weather is just so changeable that summer should be even prettier. Along the way, guide sister Penguin has made a simple introduction and whispers comfortably. Thanks to the driver's big brother Miho for accompanying him throughout!
Guide Paulina is responsible, the Chinese is good, I accidentally lost my phone on Black Beach today, she's willing to wait for me to give me time I appreciate it, driver Slawek is also very skilled, let us have a safe trip, next chance will come
Today, we're blessed with a glimpse of Glacial Lake, led by the sweet little sister of Penguin and the lovely Uncle Stawomir! It's a long journey, but thanks to the leader little sister trip is arranged reasonably well, the whole journey is comfortable and enjoyable! Recommended for all who want to catch a glimpse of the diamond sand beaches and glacial lakes from Thunder City!
Very satisfied with the itinerary, although the weather was variable but the guide Martina made our experience in Iceland extremely enjoyable. The Chinese is very good, the introduction to the sights is very detailed, will also introduce us to good food, popularize the little knowledge of Iceland, voluntarily take pictures of us, multilingual, time control rhythm is good. Participated in two tours Mount Snell and South Shore Diamond Beach are both Martina guides, strongly recommended by Amway.
Very good experience, reasonable arrangement, beautiful scenery, guide drivers are hard work
Very good. The guide is Polish. But fluent in Chinese, highly recommended, and very comfortable on the bus.
Driver: Maciek, guide Chen really super responsible Super good, driver drove smoothly the whole way, guide Chen enthusiastic Responsible, well planned trip, and time constraints allowed us to take the aurora, super lucky, in short two 100 points
Great experience, visiting diamond sand, black sand and more, nature is beautiful. Thank you also very much to Martyna guides and Slawek drivers, great drivers, lamenting that the Icelandic weather is really changing.
The guide Martina was very warm, patient, responsible, meticulously explained and very good in Chinese! The driver's car was steady and great!
A warm and attentive, well-explained guide, Martyna, gave me an insight into Icelandic history and legends, luck seeing seals and enriching the fun journey!
The experience was great, lots to see, Iceland was beautiful, the driver was steady, the guide was friendly and kind.
The guide is a Polish sister who speaks Chinese and explains very gently and patiently. Attractions are dense and richly arranged and the bus ride is comfortable
Very good, guide Chen and driver Rafal are very good and highly recommended.
The guide was attentive and the driver was steady. I used to share a little bit more about Iceland on the road, which was fun, and on the way back to town you met the aurora and they stopped the car and let us go down and enjoy the beautiful aurora! It was dark by the time Seryaland Falls went, and though there were lights, it wasn't as pretty as it was during the day. I thought it would be possible to finish the Seriaran Falls at the same time as the Skgal Falls and then reduce the time in the small town of Vic.
It was a really good experience. Lucky to be working with guide Penguin for the second time. The penguins are very professional, very business-oriented guides, and easygoing and warm, super gentle and patient, making the trip enjoyable and memorable.
A day trip to Iceland has come to a successful conclusion - and we must boast of our amazing guide penguins! The knowledge reserve is great, the landscape explanation, human story are super expected, will also be thoughtful reminders to take pictures, pay attention to safety, the whole process is patient and gentle, make the journey easy and healing. It's really lucky to meet such a good guide!
Very satisfied with the trip, the itinerary was perfectly designed, the weather was great, the guide penguins were great, people were kind, very good at taking care of the guests, the questions of the tourists were patiently answered, introduced a lot about Icelandic localities, the driver was also friendly, driving skills were great.
The guide was gentle, patient and well explained. 👍 And look at me. I'm here on my own. Kindly said I could take a picture of myself. Look at me with a selfie stick. It was so hard. Ha ha ha.
The scenery is beautiful, the guide sister is patient and beautiful, give us some knowledge of science Iceland and Poland, problems are solved in time, the driver is very skilled.
The tour was a great experience, with a well-scheduled guided tour by Chen, ample time reserved for each attraction and thorough and detailed explanations that deepened our understanding of Iceland. Have WeChat contact group, timely release of public notice of assembly time, conscientiously responsible. Driver Paweł Łukasz is a good driver, reasonable for long-distance route planning, comfortable inside temperature, enthusiastic and responsible. Overall a perfect journey experience and highly recommended!
This trip to Iceland was perfect! The giant ice floes of the glacial lake of Jagussalon are dreamy blue-green, the dark volcanic sands of the diamond beach are reflected in "diamond"-like crushed ice, and the blingbling looks when the sun falls are mind-boggling. Fortunately, the road meets the aurora, the green ribbon of light dancing slowly in the night sky, like a cosmically gifted romantic feast, shaking to a loss of speech. You must praise the golden guide, the identity of foreign friends but speak fluent and authentic Chinese, the whole process patiently explain the source of the attraction, but also thoughtful reminder of safety matters, professional and warm, make the whole trip extra comfortable. Highly recommended for this group, natural beauty with premium service both online and definitely worth a visit!
Thank you so much to the little sister of the penguin guide and Alex! The overall arrangement of the trip was very relaxed and comfortable, and the explanations on the way were lively and interesting, so that people didn't feel tired along the way. As a Chinese tour to Iceland, I would be happy to recommend it to more friends. The friends also had a great time and everyone was very impressed with the first day in Iceland!
The guide sister, Mango, spoke well! Driver's big brother sparrow technology is also safe, very lucky to choose the Chinese group, foreign countries feel kind, Mango all the way to tell a lot of small stories, a lot of harvest ~
Very good, guide explains meticulous itinerary, arrange full tour time, experience good weather, guide helps to take photos, service attitude is also good, take photos is also good, guide is serious and responsible, driver driving skills are good
Lucy's guide is very kind, every attraction is well said, and there is plenty of time, not to urge us, but will actively help us take pictures. Knowledge reserve is good.
Lucky people are very good, knowing that I am a solo tourist, they will ask me if I should not take pictures, and they will also tell us the little story of Iceland along the way, very interesting!
What a wonderful trip. Thanks to Lucky and Maciek for their kind service, Lucky is really a great little girl, she's been explaining with expertise along the way, I've been reporting to the English group, I can't understand the local customs well, this Chinese group brought me a super surprise experience! Made me know more about Northern Europe 😉 Thank Lucky and Maciek!
The whole trip was rich, lots of groups were found, it was the only group I could find that had both Vic Black Beach and Glacier Lake, it was satisfying, the journey took a long time The driver was hard, the drive was fast and good, the guides were dedicated and great.
As a teenager, I saw the word "Iceland" for the first time in the corner of a geography textbook, only to think it was a footnote at the end of the world. Many years later, standing in the cold November wind, I got on in Reykjavik, thinking it was just a regular day trip. Until she opened her mouth. She's not one of those skilled memorizer guides. She studied Icelandic and could have done what her parents saw as a more “decent” and secure job, choosing instead to spend her days dealing with glaciers, waves and black sand. She said she just wanted to do something she really liked - and I knew at that moment that the trip wouldn't just be about the scenery. The car left the city, and the window was not bright enough for the day, and in it she slowly unfolded Iceland: From the first Vikings to land, to how volcanoes shaped the island; from geological stories of plate squeezing, to lakes left behind by retreating glaciers; from Icelanders' lamb soup and dried fish dipped in butter, to the habits of horses, seabirds, seals, to centuries-old fairy tales in small towns. She spoke very finely and very seriously. Not finishing a job, but sharing a land she loved so much. Every time she passes through a landscape, she is able to connect a history or story. You can clearly feel that that knowledge was not memorized temporarily to lead a group, but that it really took her a long time to read, to learn, to remember. It was a long trip, but it was not at all effortless. On the way to the waterfall, she reminds us where the steps freeze; in the windy black sand, she counts people as she helps them find the safest and best-looking spot; and in the car, she helps us calculate the auroral index in advance, telling us how to shoot it. Stopping in town at noon, she gave recommendations "beyond strategy": which ice cream was more authentic and which bread was the kind that locals would line up. What struck me most was the "workmanlikeness" in her. She was professional, of course, but I was thinking of "mindfulness" more than the word "professional" - she was serious about the landscape, the language, the history of Iceland; she was serious about the dozen people she had never met in the car. We were just one-sided tourists, and she turned over all the bits and pieces she knew about Iceland and shared them with us like an old friend. On the return journey at night, it was dark, and at the last stop of the day's journey, the headlights turned off, and suddenly a faint green streak opened out of the window, as if someone had made a gentle stroke in the night sky. The car was quiet, and the next second it was all exclamation. Like her name, we were really lucky that night. Some say that the scenery will be the same when you see it more, but the person who shows you the scenery will make the same land look completely different. This day trip to a diamond sand beach + glacial lake showed me not just waterfalls, black sand, ice and aurora, but how someone who truly loves Iceland, in his own language, can turn this island, far from the end of the world, into a slowly unfolding prose. If you're visiting the south coast of Iceland every day, I hope you'll meet one of these guides too. It's not about taking you "punchback," it's about treating you like a home and a friend.
