Iceland Golden Circle & Glacier Snowmobiling Guided Experience

Such an incredible experience ! The bus was comfy and the views were amazing ! Isabella was very informative and kind!

This was an absolutely incredible tour! Every stop was breathtaking: the geysir, the crater, the waterfall, and the national park. Every place we went was stunning in terms of natural beauty, but also very well set up for tourists, with food options, bathrooms, gift shops, and information. The included snowmobiling adventure was glorious! I was a bit scared, as I had never been on one before but it turned out great. Our driver and guide, Isabella, was a wonder: competent, confident, knowledgeable, warm, friendly, and upbeat. Highly recommended!

All the members during this tour were professional, organized, and kind. I had never experienced or seen anything so beautiful as the glaciers. This experience definitely solidified my desire to visit Iceland again. If you’re feeling adventurous and want to ride a snowmobile, this is the tour for you. I felt completely safe with the tour guides and despite the group including 32 people (more than half due to the previous day’s cancellation), it did not feel crowded or overwhelming during the ride. Although it was a long day, it was well timed between stops for lunch and viewing the geysers. I would absolutely sign up for this tour again.

I am so grateful for this experience. I never thought to travel to Iceland, let alone driving a snowmobile on the snowy mountains. Being on that mountaintop, so close to the sun, with the snowy breeze was an above and beyond adventure! It was very organized. Our tour guide/bus driver was great and snowmobile drivers guides were even better. It was totally worth the price for an experience that almost seemed out of this world!

The Golden Circle and snowboarding tour was amazing! I had a very good time. Only thing is our driver was driving very erratically the entire time, but outside of that the tour was very good!!

The monetary is packed but each is a highlight. Our guide, Bjorn was superb. He stretched the day so our experience was relaxed. And we loved his understated Icelandic humour!

Great tour, our tour guide Tom gave plenty of times in all of the stops on this tour, and was knowlegeable with lots of experience and stories to tell. We had lots of fun and would suggest for anyone to do while in Iceland.

Tom guided the tour and pe.rformed well. It was a relatively warm day, and the snow was melting quite rapidly on the glacier. We were all going to get probably ankle or shin deep and water and he came up with the idea of creating a bridge of snowmobiles to help keep us dry. It's been a very good day.

After our snowmobiling tour was canceled, we got upgraded to the one with the Golden Circle adventure. We were picked up in an epic ride perfect for the epic adventure we were going to experience. Even though we had done the Golden Circle two days before, we enjoy getting to go to each site a second time around because we were able to do different things at each stop. However, the star of the tour is the snowmobiling experience at the glacier! The day was perfect! Our guides Thomas and James were amazing. Tom even had an epic soundtrack for when we were traveling on the F roads! To me is very important to point out that when we were doing the snowmobiling part, my snowmobile started having problems half way in and Tom was kind enough to give me his and stayed behind with the other one. I got to enjoy and finish the experience because of this.

In ny opinion, the snowmobile experience was the best. Tomas was a great tour guide and was knowledgeable of the area. The hot cocoa and biscuits at the end of the glacier snowmobiling was a great touch. The bus didn't have wifi but other than that, the super jeep was comfortable and a fun ride.

What an amazing tour. Thomas was an awesome guide. The most enjoyable activity was snowmobile rides. It was little scary at first but then it was so much. Truly spectacular scenery that cannot be seen or enjoyed from a car. Highly recommended! All the stops in the Golden Circle were great so beautiful. The waterfall was truly spectacular and OMG moment. Our guid, Thomas, was full of knowledge, friendly, funny and supportive of our needs. We would gladly do this again.

Fantastic experience!!! I'm so glad that I got to experience this!! Thomas our fearless leader led us to some of the most beautiful areas of Iceland ( I'm sure there are more). Geysers, snowmobiling on a glacier, craters in the Earth, and tectonic plates.......what more can I said other get to Iceland and book your tour with these guys!!! Was in Iceland for only 3 days and took this tour on the last day. I enjoyed it a lot , Thomas had always a background on the places we visited. The snowmobiling part of the trip was amazing and the guides that took us through were very attentive.

Thomas is very , and kept the trip funny, adventurous and lighthearted the whole day. Would / will come back again!

Excellent day out Thomas was excellent

Our guide Thomas was fantastic, making sure to squeeze the most out of the day. This fits in what could be two separate tours into one day, giving you a sampling of the golden circle alongside the joy of snowmobiling across the glacier. Picking us up in our vehicle, which is a minibus on steroids, we headed across to see the tectonic plates and geysers before heading onto the glacier. Some skilled driving later we arrived ready to scoot across the glacier with clear skies and fresh snow. Before finally heading back to take in both waterfall and a volcanic crater on the way back home. A full day of fun guided well and one not to miss out on. Not for next time- the snowmobiles have handle bar warmers.

Our Guide Thomas met us in Reykjavik in a kick ass van with mahoosive wheels - perfect for the snow. Our first stop was the gap between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates. After a walk around some fragrant geysers, we kitted up and made our way to the snowmobile site. Loved the snowmobiling! Lots of fun and enough time on the snow to get the hang of it. Next we headed to a picturesque waterfall, before heading back to de-kit. Our final stop was a volcanic crater next to two smaller craters. We were fortunate enough to have great weather - sun shining and snow on the ground. Fab day was had by all.

Thomas was an amazing guide!! He made sure we were safe and well informed during our tour. Snowmobiling was a highlight of our time in Iceland. Once in a lifetime experience. We booked the golden circle and snow mobile but could have spent even more time enjoying the golden circle. All the reason to come back to Iceland.

Snowmobiling was great and they provided gear in plenty of different sizes for all people. Definitely the highlight of our trip. Other stops were cool but quick given the time needed for snowmobiling. Our guide, Thomas, was very knowledgeable and gave great communication about the stops and safety.

Snowmobiling has to be the best thing I’ve ever done, if I had to give advice to anyone that is interested it will be to go as fast as possible and overtake the slow people 🤣 don’t be afraid to go full throttle

The day was a great experience from start to finish, Thomas was a great guide, from the knowledge he had, to the jokes he had and just an all about person you’d be lucky to have as a guide.

Thomas, our driver and guide, looked after us well - knowledgeable and friendly, he made our small group welcome. The weather up near the glacier was quite bad, but it wasn't going to get in the way of our tour. His knowledge of the geology was great as he told us about the various sites and features. A great trip and thoroughly recommended.

Fantastic experience! Saw so much in one day - the best of The Golden Circle and snowmobiling on a glacier - amazing! Although a long day, it didn’t feel too far between stops and we had plenty of time to explore the sights when there. Our guide, Thomas, was super friendly (and informative)! Had a fantastic day with Thomas. Very interesting and informative. Chatty friendly and with a good sense of humour. He took as on a tour of some of the famous golden circle places. We enjoyed the dramatic ride to the highlight of the day snowmobiling. Although the visibility was poor, we had a fantastic time riding through the snow and enjoying ourselves. We had a fab full day. My partner and I really enjoyed this tour. Our guide, Thomas, was exceptional. Very knowledgeable and engaging, and quite funny. The day was well organized, even with some driving difficulties getting to the snowmobiling site on the glacier (not Thomas’s fault, he was a champ battling with some super jeep issues to get us there). Snowmobiling was awesome and well-run. We are generally not guided tour people but needed to be efficient with a limited amount of time in Iceland and did not want to risk self driving in February weather conditions- so left our sightseeing to the professionals. This tour was a great choice and worked well for us.
