Helicopter Tour From Reykjavik: Hengill Area With At Site Landing

This was an excellent tour! Views were unbelievable and landing on the volcano area was a once in a lifetime experience.

Our first flight was cancelled but the company was but they arranged another day, that was perfect. The pilot was very relaxt en said we could take our time to took some pictures.

Our coordinator was kind, courteous, and accommodating. My friend and I felt very safe with our experienced and skilled helicopter pilot.

if you have previously done helicopter tours, then I would say there is nothing special about this. Went out over the 2020 - 2022 (?) volcano eruptions which are now back to dormant / maybe a little steam. Scenery is lava and mountains = black and gray (Nothing colorful in sight). Had we gone over a glacier it could have been much more interesting (of course, the price doubles for that ....).

Just returned from a weekend in Reykjavik, meeting up with my best friend from Uni. We didn't have enough time to get out of the city much, and this tour was our "splurge" for the trip--worth every penny. Our pilot, Manny, was a delight, ensuring we were all comfortable, giving us great views of the craters, and really befriending us all as we explored this unreal scenery. Everyone at Glacier Heli was friendly and accommodating. (We mixed up the time difference and arrived an hour before our tour. We were treated to snacks, great conversation, and a treat watching the smaller planes come and go from the city airport). I highly recommend any tour offered by Glacier and of course, piloted by Manny.

Great customer service and very professional staff. We tried the 2hours tour from Reykjavik and had the chance to see the main highlights of the icelandic landscape. We flew over the geyser area and the glacier, on top of the two vulcanos that recently erupted and the view was incredible! Our pilot (a Germán guy I don't remember the name was very polite and caring). Little snacks available before departure also! Highly highly recommend!! :)

Wow! Diese drei Buchstaben drücken eigentlich schon alles aus und doch können sie nicht ansatzweise das Erlebte einfangen. Der Heliflug mit dem sehr sympathischen und fähigen Piloten ist ausnahmslos zu empfehlen. Die Landschaft, das Adrenalin im Körper und auch das Dauergrinsen welches ich selbst noch nach Tagen im Gesicht habe überzeugen voll und ganz. Ich würde es jederzeit wieder buchen - und es sei versichert: hätte ich die Mittel, würde ich mir am liebsten selbst einen Helikopter kaufen.... :-) Gut, nen Piloten bräuchte ich auch irgendwie.... :-) #uneingeschränkte Empfehlung! #Loved it
