We were in Iceland for something else and decided to extend our trip with one day for sightseeing and adventure. Therefore the Combo tour was perfect for us, since the golden circle tour was quite short (30-75 minutes at the different spots), and we then also had time to visit a lagoon. Stops on the golden circle tour were so beautiful. Secret lagoon was just what we needed after a rainy and windy day on the sights - and also budget friendly. I want to highlight our guide Dylan, who shared many stories and anecdotes that sparked my interest in Icelands history, infrastructure, industry, culture, wildlife and more in a light/fun way. He is half British and half Icelandic, so his English was clear and very easy to understand. Overall even better than my high expectations :)

Ot was very nice , Leifurt. was ver kind. Beautiful
Stefan was the best, so articulate and respectful. Absolutely knowledgeable. He kept me captivated with so many interesting facts and myths about Iceland. Despite no sleep the night before, Stefan never lulled me a single minute to slumberland.
Amazing tour of all the sites and a great tour guide!
Golden circle tour was excellent. Our guide Leifur did a wonderful job!! Taking us to different highlights!
Mikki is a wonderful guide! Very , friendly and nice! Maggi out driver was awesome! Smooth drive, great tour. We highly recommend it!! They took passengers to the Secret Lagoon and some to Laugaras lagoon, We signed up for Secret lagoon but changed our mind and instead of getting off there we went to Laugarás, we just paid the entrance to Laugaras, $195 for 1 adult and 3 kids but Mikki was very flexible. He warned us of the charge and let us go on. Great experience!!
This was a fantastic way to see some of the country in just one day. Mikki was a wonderful tour guide and we learned so much. Maggi was a great driver! I will definitely recommend this tour to friends and family. Be sure to book the Golden Corcle with the Secret Lagoon!
Great day out. Saw lots of sights. Micky full of interesting information and looked after us really well. V recommended
MIkki and Maggie were fantastic. Very funny, good humour, very knowledgable and made the trip excellent
The pick up went smoothly and the tour was wonderful. Our tour guide, Dylan was great. He gave lots of interesting and informative info and was a very nice guy and easy to talk to. The sites were amazing.
Very good trip. Our guide, Hershey, really made the trip educational and enjoyable.
Eric was a great guide. Very kind and knowledgeable. We saw some amazing spots.
We had a really lovely day today with tour guide Leifur. He was very informative and interesting to listen to. I would highly recommend.
Great guide great tour, could not have asled for better
Had an amazing time. Dylan was an excellent guide very knowledgeable, entertaining and helpful. Great value for money and highly recommend the tour. Highlight for me personally was the falls.
Guide Gudjon Jes Siggi A was great and had a great day.
I like the tour, the pace of the visits, there was enough time to see the attractions and we were never running. The lagoon was really relaxing and our guide, Tony, gave us many interesting info about Iceland in general not only about the attractions. Very enjoyable!
Tony was great and answered all of our questions. He was very educational as we drove ! Felt like we had good amount of time at each location to see everything.
It was an amazing day, the best of my trip by far! This day wouldn’t of been as fun, educational , or interesting without our guide, Lasma. She managed to keep my whole family happy and having fun even with all our varying interest and ages (5,14,17,50,51). Would highly recommend!!!!
Lasma was great :) Really nice, helpful and respectful. Very professional at handling all kinds of passengers ;)
Had a great time . Definitely recommended with few hours at secret lagoon. Thank you Lasma our guide and Magnus our well experienced driver.
The tour featured some great locations in Iceland. Our guide, Lisma, and driver, Magnus, were very helpful and helpful with communicating.
Lasma was amazing, tour was fantastic!
Good experience, it was very relaxing and satisfying !
Our guide Dori was perfect, we got loads of evidence based and interesting information about Iceland and the sights we went to. He spoke excellent English and German and was really kind, punctual and well informed. A great tour!
Our guide Gudjon Jes was the best guide ever—and we have had lots of experiences with guides. He was extremely informative, personable, kind, thoughtful of guests, and punctual. Throughout the day he regaled us with fascinating stories about Iceland—legends, history, geography, mythology. We learned so incredibly much! Gudjon Jes should hold classes in how to be an outstanding tour guide. He’s the absolute best!
If you want to save the hustle of driving I think it’s worth it. We covered a lot of places, friendly guide. Zero issues.
If you want to know history of Iceland and laugh this is your tour ! 100% recommend GUDJON the best guide !!!
I had a great time on this tour! Dori is a great tour guide and definitely knows a lot about the areas we visited!
Nice trip but lt takes too much time for the lagoon and it lacks the volcano trip, it’s a little pity we are close there.
We had a great day with Tony on the Golden Circle tour. He was extremely knowledgeable about what we were seeing. He stayed with us the entire time, telling us about the sites. We never felt rushed and Tony was very punctual. It was an amazing day with some amazing sites!!
Tony was very knowledgeable and amusing in the stories that he tells about Iceland. I learned a lot. The places were visited were all excellent and probably must/see for anyone who wants to see the best of Iceland in a short time. Worth the money and time you spend.
I am a tourist and I wanted a tourist experience. All I had to do is show up on time and they brought me to some cool places. I didn't have to drive or navigate. I had a great time. I would highly recommend the experience.
Our guide, Eric, did a wonderful job explaining both the history and the geology of Iceland. He was honestly concerned with our safety and security. Gullfoss was amazing and the geothermal pool was a great experience. I also went on the Glacier Lagoon tour and Benedikt was a great guide. In fact, the whole staff were friendly and helpful.
The guide was very informative providing historical information about each stop The geyser stop was amaxing
The guide was very nice and told us many very interesting things about the different locations. Some of the stops were a bit short and some places like the geisyrs were very overcrowded but the last stop at the secret lagoon absolutely made up for it, there weren't as many people and it was amazing.
We started the tour at 10:00 AM and wrapped up around 5:00 PM, but honestly, it felt like we’d lived several lifetimes. Our guide, Steinunn Hardardottir, talked nonstop for the entire 4.5 hours of driving — I’m convinced she doesn’t actually breathe, just inhales more facts. If I wanted a full documentary on Icelandic history and every author who ever touched a pen, I could’ve just checked Google. What I really wanted was to know where we were eating. Instead, our “lunch plan” was grabbing chips and a Coke at the first stop like teenagers at a gas station. Only later did we discover the next stop had a great restaurant. Perfect timing. By the end, we had headaches, a stomach full of snacks, and enough unnecessary information to pass an Icelandic citizenship test.
Fabulous day out good timings patient interesting guide Lasma made it a joyful day out just 10 strangers, happy memories, she made it.more.interesting and friendly, answering all my questions highly recommend. The metal seat belt buckle left side dig into my hip first seat opposite driver needs adjusting.
Fantastic tour with a fantastic tour guide -Lasma! She was very knowledge, friendly and took good care of us. We only had a short stay in Iceland so this was a perfect way to get a taste of the Golden Circle. And to finish the tour at the Secret Lagoon was so great.
The trip was fantastic. We were able to see many things in Iceland in a reasonable amount of time. Dori was informative with historical facts and added humor. Very well organized- we knew exactly where and when to board the bus. We spent the perfect amount of time at each location. It would have been helpful to know that you could not eat food you brought with you at the lunch spot- it had to be purchased there. The restaurants will call you out.
We had a great time. We felt we got to see the nature in Iceland,
Absolutely brilliant day out - probably a bit more on the expensive side, but includes entry to the Secret Lagoon. Leifur our guide was fantastic - very friendly and knowledgable. Would 100% recommend.
Loved the whole day. Dori our guide was exceptional and very informative. Any questions anybody had he could answer and kept us undated along the way. The photos I took of the Gullfoss waterfall don’t do it justice. It was just wow. I would come back but be more prepared for the rain and wear walking shoes rather than trainers. When we got to the secret lagoon it doesn’t have private showers and only three toilets to get dried and dressed although there is a separate changing area for men and women. I would recommend this tour and do it again and hopefully get the same guide
Had an amazing golden circle tour The guide an driver was really good loads of information on the tour, and plenty of time at the different stops. The score of 4 for the pickup was due to the cruuse ship docking later than expected resulting in us having to rush to the pick up point. I feel more time should have been given, but I accept it was beyond ours and possibly your control.
Amazing experience. Maybe there should have been a bit more time to explore Þingvellir national park. Dori was very friendly and a safe driver.
Had a lovely day that had been well planned. However we would have liked a little more time in the Þingvellir national park.
Dori was a great guide, knowledgeable and friendly. The time at each spot was just right. The secret lagoon at the end was very relaxing.
This is a great Golden Circle tour! Leifur is a very knowledgeable guide and Siggi a very good driver. We can highly recommend.
Great stories and history from Ritchie. We were lucky to see the entire glacier and a 35 foot geiser.
Fun and educational tour by Tony, our driver and tour guide.
