Golden Circle And Laugarás Lagoon Small Group Tour

Extremely well organized and caring. Our tour driver made effort to ensure my safety and included me every step of the way!!

On my 4th trip to Iceland decided to the Golden Circle tour for the first time. I think I chose well as this time of year it wasn't very crowded (compared to many photos I've seen during peak times). The group I was with was 11 in total so all went relatively smoothly. The stops around the Golden Circle are spectacular as to be expected. With this tour the amount of time at each is limited compared to other tours, but for me it was perfect. I was looking forward to Laugaras Lagoon as have done Blue & Sky previously. Laugaras is smaller and has a really nice setting and views. The waterfall you can walk through going from upper to lower level is great. Again it was not very crowded so spending a couple of hours there was peaceful and relaxing. Our guide was great the whole way.

Denis was our tour guide, he was amazing and so informative about everything we saw on the tour, he really made our entire trip and we couldn’t recommend him enough!

This was a great tour! We really enjoyed spending the day with Siggi! He was very entertaining and informative. We especially enjoyed the Laguaras lagoon, the geysers, and learning about Icelander’s love of licorice. We will be back someday to photograph all the beautiful churches of Iceland. The car was super comfortable with only half full. Length of visit was just right, and our guide Mr. Sigfus Thor was so friendly to us.

The weather did not cooperate that day but Alain made the trip very interesting by adding a lot of fun facts as we were driving around. He is very knowledgeable about Iceland. The tour ended up being very educational. Will definitely book with them again.

The tour was great thanks to Alain. He was entertaining and informative regarding Iceland’s history, folklore, country facts, and even sang to us (has a wonderful singing voice) a couple of Icelandic songs. There was a snafu at the beginning of the tour as a bus broke down and our tour was combined with another group. But we still had enough time at all the sites and Alain made the tour fun for everyone.

Andrea was our tour guide and did a fantastic job. She was informative and energetic. She even sang us an Icelandic children’s song when the radio wasn’t working for a short period of time. Highly recommend.

A few memorable moments on this tour - sitting in the hot springs water with light rain coming down; Alain, our guide singing Icelandic folk tunes to us on the bus; seeing the spray float up from Gulfloss waterfall. It's a well planned day, very safe for solo travellers and can highly recommend.

A great tour, made better by an excellent guide--Peter--and sunny weather. A highlight was Laugaras Lagoon, a beautiful, new (year old) lagoon that provided a stop in the middle of the trip (rather than at the beginning or end of the all day tour), which was a welcome break. I'm sure the lagoon will at some point become a standard stop on everyone's day-long Golden Circle trip, but we had it almost to ourselves. Peter was informative and entertaining throughout, the transportation very comfortable, and the tour well-organized. Several tours were combined in our case (for example, some did the Golden Circle with Sky Lagoon option), so a few brief extra stops were made to accommodate everyone, but as it was our first time in Iceland, the extra scenery was worth a few extra minutes driving time! We've taken small group tours like this in a number of countries and cities around the world--this was among the best.

Highly recommended! A wonderful tour with a fantastic guide. Vjeran was incredibly knowledgeable and guided us through the day in a fun and lively way. We are left with nothing but positive experiences and many great memories. Thank you, Vjeran, for a wonderful day ion Iceland.

We really enjoyed our tour with Helgi. It was nice having a local tell us of the history of Iceland and his experiences growing up here. The varied landscapes were beautiful and the lagoon was so relaxing and clean. My only complaint is that we felt rushed at each stop. There wasn't enough time to thoroughly see each site especially at stops that were crowded. It was a long day. But despite all of the we loved it and would recommend this tour!

Excellent tour, with Mikki our guide. The Laugarás Lagoon geothermal pools were wonderful, beautifully set in nature with sympathetic architectural design, and not at all crowded. The other stops were all Golden Circle highlights. Mikki provided lots of interesting information about the sites as we travelled between them, and even threw in some Icelandic music tracks. The only hiccup was a delayed start as some passengers were late so we had to rush the first stop to make up time.

I was very pleased with this tour of the Golden Circle and Laugaras Lagoon. Our tour guide, Mikki, was knowledgeable and provided so much valuable knowledge of Iceland’s history, geology, and culture. Mikki is kind and calm, which made the atmosphere of the tour very peaceful and enjoyable. The group size and tour bus is small enough to enjoy things independently without it being too crowded, which makes this your best for any traveler, whether you’re going solo or with family. The time spent at each location and attraction was enough, and allowed for some personal exploration and photo taking opportunities. Overall, I was impressed by the flow of the tour and was glad to have chosen the lagoon option. Highly recommend!

It was a lovely combination of exploring the beautiful natural sites and relaxing in Laugarás Geothermal Lagoon. Our tour guide Vjeran, was very knowledgeable. He allowed for the different fitness levels within the group, which I appreciated. I didn't feel pressured to alter my natural walking pace. There was enough time allowed for each planned stop, as well as an unexpected one at the end. Thanks - it was a wonderful experience.

This golden tour was wonderful. Our guide Vjeran kept us entertained with local folklore, interesting information about the geology and history of Iceland. The lagoon spa was really special, very nice dressing rooms and showers, two level lagoon with waterfall in beautiful setting of forest and river viee.

Roman was our tour guide and driver. Only 7 people on the tour including my family of 4. We had ample time at each stop and Roman even made a couple of ad hoc stops - one at a spot for ice cream made on-site where you are almost literally sitting with the cows. Great history and geology lesson throughout the 10 hour tour. I would highly recommend the tour, and maybe you'll be lucky enough to get Roman as your guide.

I thoroughly enjoyed Juliana’s tour, in particular her pre-recorded history and accompanying music, which I found a creative and efficient way for her to focus on driving while educating us. The visit to Laugaras Lagoon was a special time with friends and a healthy and fun way to close out the day. And the food at Laugaras was tasty and healthy.

Anna our guide was fantastic , full of fun facts , kept the tour light but interesting ! Would recommend this tour . If you’re arriving on a cruise ship look for the cheaper option rather than your cruise as we found it was half the price !

Mirra was a wonderful tour guide along with our driver. Not only did we have beautiful weather for our Golden Circle and Secret Lagoon, we stopped to pet the Icelandic horses.
