Golden Circle And Glacier Snowmobiling Day Trip From Reykjavik

Richie was a great guide for this tour, we got to see so many key sights on the way to snowmobiling and it was such a memorable experience! Thank you also to Thor for being a great and patient driver and the guys at the snowmobile place!

A long but very enjoyable day from Reykjavik. Our guide Rosa Maria was very helpful and her stories and knowledge made the journeys between stops even better. Our driver Johannes made sure we got to each stop on time so that we had plenty of time to enjoy the stops. The weather conditions on the glacier were challenging but it was truly a one of a kind experience.

Great time with family. All experiences were brilliant. Johannas got us every where safely with some great story’s and Rosa Maria gave us all loads of interesting facts throughout the day about Iceland. Definitely recommend.

An amazing experience from start to finish. Extremely well organised, plenty of time to visit each location and a great driver and tour guide (Magnus and Lasma). The snowmobiling was mega and well worth doing. The waterfall was really impressive as was the geyser. Pick-up was very well organised and exactly on time and the whole trip takes around 10 hours 9-7pm. Snowmobiling is around 4 hours from 12-4, with national park and gulfoss before hand, and the geysers afterwards on the way home.

What an incredible experience! All of the stops on the day were so good but the star if the show is the snowmobiling on the glacier. It was breathtaking. We were well informed and looked after and the experience itself was incredible. We were looked after all day by Lasma our guide and Magnus our driver, who were both fantastic, friendly and knowledgeable. This was well worth it, you wont regret this trip.

Gudjon Jes was an excellent host and driver he was was very knowledgeable, he told stories about Iceland and had excellent facts along with a brilliant dry sense of humour , he made the long journey in between the sights and the snow mobiles very entertaining - brilliant and company should be pleased they have him

Awesome Trip. Perfect weather and our guides, Rosa Marie, Pawel and Jon Thor were fantastic. I learned so much about Iceland but it wasn’t just the knowledge, the passion and pride they had when explaining things about their country was amazing. You can tell how much love they had for Iceland, something you don’t see too often. I left with a deeper respect and admiration for Iceland and its people. Beautiful country and amazing journey.

This was one of the most incredible experiences of our lives. We were a family of four, including a 12 and a 13 year old. Everyone had an absolute blast. The snow suits are very warm, the glacier was gorgeous, and we highly recommend it.

What an amazing all day golden circle tour topped off with snowmobiling- perfect mix of sightseeing and adventure. We travelled in bus number 6 with pavel and his tour guides. Both were amazing, really friendly and went over and above to make sure we go the most out of the tour. The tour guide (sorry I can’t remember her name but started with R) was incredibly knowledgable about the area mixed with lovely personalised stories. I would highly recommend the team from bus 6 and this golden circle tour. Pavel we hope you enjoy Tenerife.

I did my tour with Pawel & Rosa Marie, it was such a great experience. They gave many updates throughout the trip (e.g., when we could leave bags on bus/or when to take it with me). They took amazing photos for me (bonus as a solo traveller), and I enjoyed the facts they shared on our drive! :) crowd size was good, I booked to ride solo on snowmobile but some people got to go alone bc tour wasn’t sold out that day.

Fast and snappy tourism, just how I like it, buses and snowmobiles all fresh and in good and safe working order, the glacier is amazing to see along with all the other bite size tourism on the trip, geasers, waterfall, national park, Pawel and Rosa were amazing guides, witty and full of knowledge

An absolutely unforgettable day and a real highlight of our trip to Iceland! The Golden Circle was breathtaking, with incredible scenery at every stop, but snowmobiling across the glacier was truly the experience of a lifetime! The landscape was absolutely spectacular, and the whole day was brilliantly organised from start to finish. A huge thank you to our driver, Pawel, who made the journey comfortable, smooth and enjoyable, and to our guide, Rosa Maria, who was fantastic throughout. Both were professional, friendly and knowledgeable, making the entire experience even more special. If you’re visiting Iceland, I couldn’t recommend this trip highly enough. The perfect combination of natural wonders, adventure and unforgettable memories. An absolute must-do!

Awesome day out to see some amazing sights and an exciting and fun snow mobile ride on a glacier. Our guide and driver Dori gave us fantastic information about the area, Iceland and its history and what we were visiting. He explained everything clearly and drove very safely. Comfy bus and a good length tour. Great day.

This tour was wonderful. Beautifully scenery and geography at every stop. The waterfall was stunning. The views on the glacier were incredible and the snow mobiles were an unmissable experience. Our tour guide Dori was insightful and added to an excellent day.

We had a great time on our excursion! The glacier snowmobiling was definitely a once in a lifetime experience and one you absolutely don’t want to miss! Everyone associated with the excursion was organized and kind. The Geysir and the geothermal area was so unexpectedly beautiful! The photos we took are some of our favorites from the whole trip!

Wish we saw more waterfalls and other touristy stuff but the snowmobiling was the highlight and one of the waterfalls was beautiful.

Lasma was a great driver, an excellent source of information, and got us where we needed to be on time while making sure the group understood the location and time table.

A long day but well worth it. Really enjoyed travelling through the amazing Icelandic landscape. Snowmobiling was excellent. What really made our day special however, was our driver and guide, Tony. (Reykjavik Excursions, bus 5). He was very friendly and super informative. Telling us about local history and folklore, geographical features of Iceland and about all the places we visited.

The snowmobiling on the glacier was a blast! Lucas was our guide during the snowmobile part and he made it super fun! We would do this trip again if we ever make it back!

Fantastic adventure and an experience you will not forget. First time riding a snowmobile and it was on a glacier. The length of time on the snowmobile was adequate (about an hour) with one stop for photo opportunities. The ride on the mega jeep is lengthy but also takes time to get to the glacier. All clothing and helmet is provided to add to your already cold attire. It is pricey but you also get to stop at a waterfall and glacier, and more importantly you aren’t driving anywhere, just sit back and relax You do however get picked up in the morning by a standard bus and dropped off at bus stop to then get on another travel midsize bus to meet up with mountaineers of Iceland Great adventure and do not regret it!

It was a wonderful one day trip with thesw guys. Our driver and guide for the day "Dori" was really knowledgable and well spoken. He informed us very well about the geography as well as history of the Golden circle stops. The snowmobiling acitvity made this trip even more special. It is a must do experience. The trip was planned and everthing was on time. The bus was superclean and comfortable too.

We took this tour with Rejkiavik excursions and our guide was Dori . He was excellent he had good knowledge about the tour and explained us a lot about Iceland ! Would highly recommend this tour! Combine it with snowmobiling for the added fun!!!

Brilliant experience, a great group activity, and a fantastic way to tick off many of the major attractions Iceland has to offer. Dori, our driver, explained everything along the way, from the glaciers, lakes and geysers to the history and landscape of Iceland. He was really knowledgeable and friendly. I booked this experience as a special surprise for my boyfriend, as we were in Iceland celebrating his 30th birthday. It’s a lot of money, but I felt that it would be such a once in a lifetime experience, we just couldn’t miss the opportunity. And, wow, I am so glad we did it! The highlight absolutely had to be the snowmobiling. If you love anything adrenaline-fuelled, this is the excursion for you. You get around 15-20 minutes of driving, and then when you reach the top of the glacier, you can swap drivers so that you both get a chance at being in control. They give you instruction, and you drive in a line so they can make sure everyone is safe. They also provide all the protective clothing such as a helmet and a snowsuit to keep you dry and warm! But this excursion was so much more than just the snowmobiling. We got to see some incredible locations, and learned so many interesting facts about Reykjavík and the Golden Circle - and all of that was down to our amazing guide, Eric. I was blown away with his knowledge, and he was brilliant at explaining things in a way that we could all understand. Can’t thank you enough, Eric!!

This was a brilliant day seeing some amazing sights. The pacing was good, with us having enough time in each place. The highlight was defintely the snowmobiling. We had Eric as our tour guide who was brilliant as well

The people at the glacier charged me almost 100 usd for solo rider. And multiple people that did not pay just got a solo snowmobile without paying and they said NOTHING, i can confirm. The previous for the camera footage were bad as well, my friend payed for the whole thing and it was a very short video, not good.
