Itinerary
Explore Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where Iceland’s history and geology come together. Walk through the rift valley between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates, visit the site of the world’s first parliament (Alþingi), and enjoy views of lava fields, fissures, and Þingvallavatn, Iceland’s largest natural lake.
Experience the power of Gullfoss, one of Iceland’s most iconic waterfalls. Watch as glacial water from the Hvítá River plunges in two dramatic stages into a rugged canyon, creating mist and frequent rainbows on sunny days. Walk along designated viewing paths to take in the waterfall from different angles and enjoy the surrounding raw Icelandic landscape.
Visit the Geysir geothermal area, home to bubbling hot springs and erupting geysers. Watch Strokkur, the most active geyser in the area, erupt every few minutes, shooting hot water high into the air. Explore the surrounding landscape of steaming vents, colorful mineral deposits, and geothermal pools that showcase Iceland’s powerful volcanic activity.
Meet Icelandic horses up close at Brú Horse Farm. Pet them, take photos and feed them special Icelandic Horse Candy provided during the visit. Please note that this is not a horseback-riding activity.
Visit Kerið Crater, a striking volcanic caldera known for its vivid colors and unique shape. Walk along the crater rim for panoramic views, or follow the path down to the lake at the bottom, where deep blue water contrasts with red volcanic rock. This well-preserved crater offers a close-up look at Iceland’s volcanic landscape.

From the beautiful modern bus to our lovely, knowledgeable guide Bryndís, everything came together for a wonderful day. The itinerary was thoughtfully planned, and meeting the Icelandic horses was the cherry on top! Stunning nature, great company, and a really well-organised tour. Highly recommend Magic Iceland Travel!
Our tour guide (Victoria/Tom) was fantastic! Learned to much! Thank you! The driver (Magic) was good too!
Great team, Daniel was an expert in everything! Great chemistry with the driver too
ROMAN was a fantastic guide, great energy and very knowledgeable, all the sights were great. Worth the money
Daniel was a wonderful guide - full of knowledge and easygoing. Made for a relaxing and very beautiful day trip! We never felt too rushed and got to see incredible spots all along the route! Bus was comfortable and not overcrowded. Thx for a beautiful day!
Roman is a great driver, drives smoothly and professionally; has a quick reaction to the road circumstances (there was a dangerous moment due to the other car on the road). Everything was perfectly punctual. He explains things in a friendly and clear manner. Doesn't talk too much but touches many interesting topics during the tour. The stops are exactly long enough to look around and feel the moment. However, it would be good if Roman could learn English a bit better, as there were quite a few mistakes in his speech. Also there was no offer to ask questions about the country.
Great day excursion to see amazing scenery. Arnie was a funny and knowledgeable guide whose stories made the trip even more interesting
Unnur, our guide, & Michael our driver were incredibly thoughtful, knowledgeable and helpful on our bus trip. We would choose them again. We enjoyed the geology and history the most!
We had a wonderful, magical day doing the Golden Circle tour. We learn about the history, nature, culture, and thermal power/ heating. We saw a lot and had easy walks at volcanic craters, agricultural, and national Parks waterfalls and deep gorges. Urss was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Our driver was excellent too. I highly recommend this tour.
We did the Golden Circle Tour with Andy. It was a long tour but he kept us informed the whole day, he was so interesting! He did amazing taking for that long! Stunning scenery, highlight of our trip.
The tour was so good, so beautiful places and the guide was so professional and kind
Brilliant tour - taking in the crater, waterfall, geyser and Parliament stone as well as a couple of unscheduled stops to pet the horses, eat ice cream and sample fermented shark! Roman (Kris) was a very knowledgeable and interesting guide, telling us about the human and geological history as well as what it's like to live in Iceland today. It was a beautiful sunny day which only helped. Highly recommended!
Really nice tour guide with loads of passion for Icelandic history and nature. Great day out!!
