I was skeptical when visiting Iceland because I did not like the cold. However after meeting Miro and experiencing Iceland in the best way possible i cannot wait to come back! Miro is one of the best guides I have ever met in my years of traveling. He is very knowledgeable, funny, adaptable and just fun to be around. He made this trip extremely memorable and exciting. Everyday I woke up and thought what are we going to see next?! He even saved our day by meticulously checking his weather app and diverting our plans to avoid a cloudy windy day. Not to mention he is an extremely talented photographer who took the best picture of my wife and I. If anyone is ever going to Iceland I would recommend Icelandic roamed every time. He has shown how beautiful Iceland really is and left me wanting to come back and visit the parts we couldn’t see.

This. Was. Everything! This day was the highlight of our trip! We started the day with our guide Miro picking us up from Reykjavík. Miro is AMAZING! Kind, knowledgable and so good at what he does. From there we went to the Golden Circle where we encountered rainbows, horses (which we stopped to visit), geysers, waterfalls, beautiful scenery. It was so special. Miro kicked each leg off with us, but then he gave us private time at each spot as well. From there we had lunch at Friðheimar, so much more than a tomato farm in Iceland. Might I add that when I requested this lunch they were booked, but somehow Miro and his team ended up getting us a reservation. It was delicious and so unique. I was so glad we went. From there, Miro took us to some volcano spots which was so interesting to see and then we did a small photo shoot with Powder, his awesome Land Rover that we traveled in all day. We capped the day off at Blue Lagoon which again, was a great experience. When we came out from Blue Lagoon, Miro had our professional photos ready to go! My gosh they turned out better than I could have imagined. We booked a Northern Lights tour too, but due to weather it didn't come to fruition. Miro handled that perfectly. We will be back next year and we 100% will book with Icelandic Roamers again and request Miro. If you are on the fence about booking a private tour verses the group tours, book the private. It is worth EVERY penny. Have fun!

We had the pleasure of traveling with Robert as our guide for three days, Northern Lights, South Coast, and Golden Circle. He was a delight in every way. He was fun, knowledgeable, and an all around great guide. The only way to see Iceland!!! Highly recommend!!!

Our guide Michal was very nice, he brought us around the golden circle and explained everything in detail while taking amazing pictures for us. He adapted to our time constraints too, without taking anything out of the tour. We have amazing memories and recommend to anyone having half a day in Reykjavik! We started the tour a little bit earlier as to avoid crowds and were basically alone at every stop, which made the experience even more magical.

Our tour with Miro was wonderful. We had a short time in Iceland and wanted to ensure we saw the highlights of the Golden Circle. Our tour was fully customized to ensure we had the experience we wanted. This was my second tour with Miro in the last seven years—and my second time visiting Iceland—and once again, he made the experience absolutely unforgettable. The first time I visited was during the winter. Miro took me around in his incredible Mercedes Jeep, bringing me to spectacular places I never would have discovered on my own. And one of the biggest bonuses: he is an amazing photographer. I came home with so many incredible photographs that I ended up printing several of them as large-scale pieces of art that are still hanging in my home today. So when I returned to Iceland seven years later, this time with my daughter, my friend, and her daughter, I knew immediately that I wanted to hire Miro again for our Golden Circle tour. He is incredibly easy and pleasant to work with, knowledgeable about Iceland, and a very careful and experienced driver. He also customizes his tours around exactly what you want to see and experience. This time, since there were five of us, he arranged a spacious Mercedes that was perfect for our group. Our tour was about eight hours, but it never felt long or exhausting. Everything flowed beautifully, and we saw so much without ever feeling rushed. He even took us to the most magical place for lunch. It was extremely difficult to get a table, but somehow Miro got us in right away—and it became another highlight of the day. And, of course, the cherry on top is Miro’s photography. He captures truly epic images, so you don’t just leave Iceland with memories—you leave with incredible photographs that feel like pieces of art. I highly, highly recommend Miro and Icelandic Roamers. Whether you want a classic Iceland experience or something completely customized, he has different tours and vehicles depending on your needs. Seven years later, I chose him again—and I absolutely would again on my next trip to Iceland.

We had a private tour to see the waterfalls, geysers, glaciers, geothermal sites, and the countryside. Coming off a cruise, we had one day in Reykjavik, and this tour was perfect. Our guide, Michael, was terrific. Affable and knowledgeable, and an excellent photographer. We were lucky to have a warm sunny day. And Michael took us to his favorite restaurant at the tomato farm for an elegant lunch. Don't miss it!

My family of 5 booked two private tours with Miro - South Coast and Golden Circle. Without a doubt these tours were the highlight of our 10 day Icelandic vacation. The tours were flawless - from pickup to dropoff. We saw so much. Words cannot describe how incredible Iceland is and we are so fortunate to have had Miro guide us through such a beautiful country. The price was reasonable for the quality and experience. The tour was five days and the guide accommodated for preference and intensity of activity. The sights were beautiful and he ensured we got to see the most as possible while not being too physically taxed. He also adjusted in real time according to situations and added/removed locations that were more preferred. Not to mention the amazing photos we got from his professional camera. Overall an amazing experience and the best tour guide! Would book again if we come back to Iceland.

Miro is a knowledgeable, enthusiastic, guide to the natural wonders and interesting sights along the Golden Circle route. He is also a talented photographer and enjoyable traveling companion. He accommodated our specific needs and interests. He’s an excellent driver and owns a top of the line Toyota Land Cruiser. We felt well served and felt his service was definitely worth the price.

Wonderful day! Seamless, easy, responsive planning of the day ahead of time. We customized the tour. Miro picked us up from the port on time and off we went! As we had seen a lot on the cruise, Miro took us to several other cool spots pre and post snowmobiling. Friendly, knowledgeable and great guide. Snowmobiling was very wet conditions fyi in june. After that, saw a gorgeous blue waterfall we hadn't seen and had ice cream at a farm. Returned us to hotel. He even took photos all the way thru so we had a beautiful collection once we got home. A highlight of our 10 day trip!

Even with the snowstorm, I felt safe the whole time. They use a 4x4 SUV, and Mical handled the conditions with confidence and skill. We also witnessed the raw beauty of Iceland’s landscape, including areas with geothermal activity and mountain eruptions, which made the experience even more unforgettable. He also brought us to a unique restaurant, far from the usual tourist spots. The whole trip felt personal and well planned.

We had a great time and everyhing was so effortless and smooth. Michael was our tour guide and he wa very friendly and accomadating gentleman. Miro made our itenary and booked our tours, which makes our trip very smooth. I highly recommend them for anyone planning to visit Iceland.

I actually did three different tours with Icelandic Roamers. Golden Circle, Northern Lights, and Reykjanes Peninsula. Each tour was worth its weight in gold. I loved every minute of them. No crowded tour bus, no rushed schedule, customized itinerary. Due to health conditions, my dad is limited in how far he can walk at one time. I communicated this in advance to Icelandic Roamers, and they made sure to factor that into our experience. They also monitored Northern Lights conditions for us and adjusted our tour schedule to go out during the best conditions, so we fulfilled our goal of seeing the Northern Lights at the start of our trip. We were ecstatic. Additionally, the guides are professional photographers. I brought my camera, but it was such a relief to know that I could stand there and soak in the incredible views while an expert got the "forever memories" for me. Since we weren't in a bus, our guide, Michael, was able to take us to unique spots and find the best view of things. I was stunned by the beauty of Iceland. I have traveled to many countries and seen many amazing places. This trip is by far my favorite, and I know a lot of that is thanks to Icelandic Roamers. Do yourself a favor: book with this group. Every time you look back at your professional photos, you will be grateful that you made the decision.

My husband and I could not have been happier with Miro. We followed his advice in the planning completely, with our dates and length of stay changing. He was so patient with our changes. We did 4 tours with him, the golden Circle, the South Coast, and the Snaefelloss (sp) peninsula, as well as the Northern lights tour. All were excellent. I am mobility challenged, and he was able to completely meet my needs. He guided me on what I could and should do, and what was going to be just too much. It was a lifechanging 4 days, with such a knowledgeable and kind man.

Let's start by saying Iceland is another planet. We booked two days with Icelandic Roamers and had Michal as our guide. He was awesome! He picked us up at our hotel, drove us to the most gorgeous places in a beautiful clean Mercedes van, and captured photos of us that we could never do on our own. I would absolutley book with them again.

Early this month we visited Iceland and spent a week touring the island. We hired Islandic Roamers for private tours not only for the traditional spots but also for visiting areas outside the beaten track such as Eirikstad (where the first European to discover America in the year 1000 was born) and several other other very interesting sites. Izabel was responsible for designing the tours and we benefited from her useful suggestions. And Rob, our guide and driver, was excellent! Aside from his indications and very helpful hints, he was a very good companion. We'll no doubt hire them again on our next trips.

Our Icelandic experiencece with the guide provided by Icelandic Roamers was fantastic. Our program for the 5 days tour was very attractive. We have seen a lot. In our case the weather also happened to be great. This fact is important, because we were able to do everything what Miro planned for us. It shows every day we've spent on the tour with professional, caring, great guide Kat (Katarzyna) Our schedule was very well fulfilled with a profesionalism by our tour guide. She was driving us in a very comfortable vehicle, always and everywhere in time. The tour guide in Iceland was fantastic! He was very knowledgeable and loved sharing stories about the country. He personalized our tour, allowing us to spend extra time at beautiful spots. My adult daughter and I did the Small Group Golden Circle Tour. It was us and another couple. Our tour guide, Michal, was wonderful. We saw so many amazing sites and had a wonderful lunch at the Tomato Farm. The photos are so good. My only regret is that we didn’t book the South Coast Tour with Icelandic Roamers as well.

Four of us took the Golden Circle tour with Miro. From the planning over the phone and email communication to the day tour, Miro was friendly, knowledgeable, and exceedingly helpful. We hired Miro to take us on an adventure for our first day in Iceland, and boy did he deliver! He picked us up at the airport and took us on tour that was perfectly curated based on our preferences. The photos are beautiful, and my teenage son and I will have memories of the trip forever, despite our significant jet lag that day. We hope to be back in the winter so we can do a Northern Lights tour with Miro!

A few years ago we started using guides on our adventures. We have been fortunate enough to have never had a bad or lousy guide. Icelandic Roamers changed the bar: it has been significantly raised. Miro picked us up at our hotel and a rapport was immediately established. He made a point to be certain that our teen was engaged and involved, which was no small feat. Over two days he took us to the usual amazing sites but also to places that never appear in tour guide books. We saw landscapes that could have been the surface of Mars. He rescued a stranded driver in Superman fashion. He allowed us to stay within our own comfort zones of adventure but gently and kindly pressed us, me, to go a bit farther. We are all better for it. Miro kept track of individual personal needs of food, drink, bathroom breaks and individual preferences and even the unmentioned queasiness of heights and steep slopes. He was equipped to address changing weather conditions and terrain. He was even surprised when we all, accidentally, stumbled upon an absolute gem of a coffee shop (Valeria- a must see). While nothing is perfect, the two days exploring portions of Iceland with Icelandic Roamers was as close to perfect as any adventure I/we have ever had. The photo of my wife and I walking toward the ice is an example of Miro’s artistry.

We had a very enjoyable tour of the Golden Circle with Miro who provided additional stops at a number of other tourist sites, including an unexpected, but very enjoyable lunch at the Tomato Farm. Miro was very accommodating and knowledgeable about the sites we visited, he is friendly, affable and great company. I would wholeheartedly recommend Miro and his tours, he is also a great photographer (including drone footage) and knew exactly where the best places were to be to get the best pictures. Later in the week, Miro arranged a south coast tour to the Katla Ice Caves with stops at the Black Sand Beach with "sneaker waves" followed by lunch in Vik at a great pizzeria whose pizzas were on black dough bases!
