Head to Thingvellir National Park, where you learn about how it lies within a volcanically active area. It's also home to the Mid-Atlantic Ridge, where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates meet. Straddle two continents while you walk between the plates.
Laugarvatn sits next to a beautiful lake of the same name in a geothermally active area. The plumes of super-heated vapor billowing into the air in this area are used by the locals to bake rye bread in the ground!
Next, visit the surreal Geysir geothermal area on foot, stopping at bubbling ponds, steam vents, and Geysir and Strokkur geysers. Stick around long enough to watch the Strokkur geyser erupt (around every 10 minutes), spurting a column of water up to 98 foot (30 meters) in the air
The next destination is Gullfoss – the Golden Waterfall, where the waters of the mighty Hvíta (white) river are swept into a 70 meters deep canyon.

After enjoyable hike around falls hop back on the bus for the journey to the lake-filled, 3,000-year-old Kerid crater. Stop to marvel at its magical-looking lake and colorful slopes.

You can choose to head inside the SPA (select a proper option during booking process) to enjoy a soak in the steamy waters while admiring surrounding lava fields, or (if you do not wish to swim there) take a walk around lava fields and visit the skin care products store or restaurant.

Must do trip! Excellent guide Thorre who was informative and witty. The weather was absolutely beautiful compared to when we arrived, so made the trip even more enjoyable. The only criticism was the information provided for pick up location! We were told bus stop 2 and it was actually 12!

What a fabulous day seeing the Golden Circle, Kerid Crater and ending with 2+ hours of relaxing and rejuvenation at the Blue Lagoon. Our guide was great - we learned so much about the fascinating geology and history of Iceland. Pickup/dropoff in Reykjavik was very easy. It's a long day but worth it - we had the best time. Absolutely amazing experience! Our guide was so much fun and knowledgeable! Thorey truly made this trip memorable. She had us laughing and learning the whole 2 days! I’d love more time to explore, but considering this was a 2 day tour it did allow for us to see a lot of Iceland in such a short period of time. The views were breathtaking. The photos and videos don’t do it justice.

Great tour- especially for those with limited time in Iceland! Hits all the big sites near Reykjavik and ends with relaxation in the most beautiful hot springs/spa we’ve ever seen. Our guide, Christina, was so lovely and fun- she even made a small detour to let us meet some Icelandic horses after seeing our groups interest in them! Great experience would highly recommend and appropriate for families, small groups, or solo travelers.

The wording in regards to blue lagoon is tricky and unclear. The title of the tour is blue lagoon and that attracts people who want to experience entering the warm water and one assumes that the ticket for it is provided. Specially when in the itinerary says blue lagoon is free admission. But later you find out that free admission is for you to visit it. I have been there and there is nothing to visit. Specially for 2 hrs. Everyone goes there, is in the water. I gone all the way there and I end up paying a whole day price $265 for a whole day but since I was with the tour bus, I was in the water a little more than an hr.

We have had amazing three day tour of south coast and golden coast guides, on both days guides were brilliant David and Anastasia are really great . We saw the wonderful waterfalls especially the gulfo, the amazing black beach and fantastic glaciers , going on the glacier boat was great to see the glasiers so close . The national park was the one of the highlights. Our guides were very knowledgeable and they both told great stories We will be recommending Nice-travel to all our friends and family

What a great trip to see some of Icelands best sights. Lots of interesting commentary from the driver throughout. Extinct volcanic craters, geyser, waterfalls, geothermal park and all on the tour. The highlight though was Hvammsvik geothermal pools, a 2 hour stop that will last in my memory for a long time. Don't forget to have a quick dip in the ocean as well!
Never a dull moment with Adi as your guide. He'll fill your journey with stories and jokes, plus an excellent playlist you wished the tour would never end. Not the usual point to point day trips you get with some other established guided tour companies, this is NICE!

It was our first excursion in Iceland, and we really enjoyed both our guide and driver! She picked us up right on time at Bus Stop 6, just two minutes from our hotel very easy to find. She shared lots of fun little anecdotes throughout the day, which made the experience both interesting and entertaining. The weather was quite unpredictable, but she adapted the itinerary so we could see everything. The sites were absolutely stunning, and the bread break was a delicious little treat we truly appreciated! Just as she promised at the beginning of the tour : it was truly exhilarating.
The weather was wild but the tour guide was great and got us through it. The order of stopped was modified on the fly and it resulted in us actually getting to see all the stops and not be stuck in a white out at gullfoss. The driver shared some local insights with as throughout the trip and gave us an Amazing experience.
