I really enjoyed both experiences. I appreciate sour tour guide for the snorkel trip did a good job ensuring our suit didn’t leak and helped ensure we were comfortable.
We truly enjoyed both the snorkel and the lagoon. I am someone who hates being cold, but found the snorkel to be enjoyable. Dory was our guide and was very knowledgeable and took the time to ensure we were prepared for the snorkel. The lagoon was beautiful and the 7 step ritual was well worth the experience. Would recommend this combo to anyone!
I wasn't sure what to expect. But the snorkel guide... im sorry I forgot his name but he was from Turkey... was excellent. He explained things carefully and clearly. As a scuba diver I was a bit disappointed my timing meant I couldn't dive because I was flying out that day and honestly? It was so beautiful I cried in the water. My guide said the diving aspect didn't add much more, just weight... and I think he was right. 10/10. My only regret was i didnt have cash for a tip. The sky lagoon visit was the perfect compliment. It was a fantastic experience and the location was completely flexible for an earlier time to come in.
A brilliant two part experience. Thanks to Ignis our snorkelling guide, and looked after us brilliantly. A unique experience, with stunningly clear water, and other than some cold hands we stayed warm and dry. Finishing the day with a beautiful evening at the Sky Lagoon
This was such a great experience. First, our guide, Ines, was absolutely wonderful! They provide a wetsuit, drysuit, gloves, hat….and she worked to ensure each piece was on and fitted to ensure we did not get wet during this experience. She was patient and very friendly! The sky lagoon was absolutely wonderful! Felt like a luxury spa going thru the 7 steps and we loved the view…..just beautiful!!
This was a wonderful experience. I thought I would freeze but I wore warm clothes (snug fitting 2 layers) under the wet and dry suits and felt fine other than my face being cold. Ines was an excellent guide. She explained things well and made it fun!

Snorkeling in the Silfa Fissure is a once in a lifetime experience! It was such a highlight in our Iceland trip. Alex, our guide, has been very thorough and helpful during the entire experience. I was nervous at first but, he took such good care of us and made sure we had fun! Thank you again so much and higgly recommend this tour and guide!
I have a blast. I recommand the combo. It's way less expensive. Sulfra is a must. I'm glad to choose Adventure Vikings. It's a smaller company, but the size of the groups is also smaller. It means that we have more space to swim and that we can have more personnal interactions with our guide. Ines is a bubbly guide. She makes sure everyone feels comfortable and swim safely. Very funny. I recommand her. After feeling cold. You have to experience the Sky Lagoon and to feel hot. Very beautiful spa and love the nordic icelandic ritual.
Alex was such a patient, kind, and fun guide! This was the experience of a lifetime. Don’t let the cold dissuade you from doing this. It was beautiful!

We are so happy that we decided to do this combo experience! The snorkeling was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that we all enjoyed together. Because of the timing of our trip, we did work with Sky Lagoon to move our time to the day AFTER snorkeling, but we enjoyed both experiences immensely.
Absolutely amazing! Can’t believe we got to snorkel between the tectonic plates! Our guide was wonderful, she took time to explain what we needed to do and what we would be seeing. I was worried I would be freezing during snorkeling but it wasn’t bad at all! We split our Sky Lagoon ticket and did that on a different day. Again, amazing! The view in the lagoon is so relaxing and the 7 step ritual is another experience you have to try. We stayed at Sky for about 2.5 hrs just enjoying the atmosphere.
Amazing experience! Gear was great and kept us warm as it should. Dory was super informative about Silfra, she was also super awesome with trying to make sure everyone got photos taken. She was amazing and made the whole experience unforgettable!
Very cool place to snorkel for the first time! The instructor, Wilmar, put me at ease and ensured we all felt safe. I had an amazing time looking at all the rock formations! **Should be noted: coming from Canada - it was not that cold, don’t worry too much. Would definitely go again :)
Overall great experience. The views were however a tad underwhelming. Maybe my expectations were too high. It was rocks under water. No real colour to it. No life. BUT our guide Wilmar made it super fun! Funny guy. Easy to talk to. We definitely felt safe and in good hands. You can tell he's an expert. Whever he goes, you should follow and you'll be sure to have a good time!
This was such a unique experience swimming between two continents!! Our instructor Dory was so thorough and made sure the dry suits were water tight and fitted perfectly, I didn’t get wet at all so was not that cold! The dive itself isn’t very long but you wouldn’t want to be in the water for ages. The views though were incredible and well worth the stinging hands and face. Dory took loads of pictures so we have plenty of memories to look back on. Would definitely recommend this experience to the adventurers out there.
The dive was incredible. Dory our instructor was very thorough with all the dry suit fitting and explained every step. She took loads of photos of us and gave us time to explore the lagoon. The experience itself is only like 30 mins but with how cold your head and hands get it’s enough. I can’t believe how clear the water was! Sky Lagoon at the end of the day was just the cherry on top of the cake to warm up. Would recommend!
This was a great experience! Loved snorkeling in the morning and the Sky Lagoon experience in the afternoon. As it is still winter ofcourse it was cold, but those views snorkeling was amazing. The sky lagoon made for a perfect day!
Snorkeling in Silfra was an absolutely incredible experience, and a huge part of that was thanks to our amazing guide, Wilmar! He was so knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and really took great care of everyone in our group. I was particularly nervous about the deep water, but Wilmar was incredibly patient and supportive, helping me overcome my fear and truly enjoy the experience. From the initial briefing to helping us get geared up and even capturing some awesome underwater photos, Wilmar made the whole experience unforgettable. Highly recommend this tour, and if you're lucky enough to have Wilmar as your guide, you're in for a treat!
There are no words to truly capture the experience of snorkeling in Silfra. The water is cold, but the suits make it comfortable, allowing you to fully enjoy the breathtaking underwater sights. We had an incredible time with the Adventure Vikings team, especially our guide, Wilmar. A special thanks to Wilmar for not only sharing his deep knowledge of the fissure, snorkeling, driving, and the park but also for making it engaging and relatable. His ability to handle the emotions and challenges of the experience was truly commendable. My spouse grew increasingly anxious as we approached the water, but Wilmar’s care and reassurance helped him feel at ease, turning what could have been a stressful situation into an enjoyable and fulfilling adventure. It was clear he was a true professional, and we felt completely safe in his hands. If you’re planning this experience, I highly recommend adding the Sky Lagoon package—it’s an unbeatable value and an absolutely AMAZING way to warm up and unwind after Silfra and a day of sightseeing.
The most amazing experience! It’s is a must do when you you come to Iceland , our guide Ed was fantastic and made us feel relaxed throughout the whole thing , 10/10 and also got hot chocolate after which was a bonus !
We arrived at 9:15, parked up and walked over. We met Edgar, who was really lovely and welcoming. We had a short wait (about 30 minutes) but we were getting suited up and having a chat with Edgar who also let us get plenty of photo opportunities. The entire trip we felt, looked after and safe, while having a laugh and joke with Edgar. Really recommend and the highlight was being able to have underwater pictures! Definitely would suggest the morning slot as it seemed to get busier as we left :)

Dory was amazing. Great instructor, funny, friendly. It was a small group of 6 and she made sure we were safe and as sealed in our suits as possible. Reward her with a beer!

Klaudyna took us on a marvelous swim through Silfra. She made sure our nerves were at ease for the cold water. In the provided dry suit and underlayer it was more comfortable. Klaudyna's instructions was very clear and the swim was amazing. In the evening we did the Sky Lagoon part which was also an amazing experience. A beautiful place to see the sunset
This was our favorite day of the whole trip!! The snorkeling experience was incredible and so unique and then Sky lagoon was so beautiful and relaxing. The whole day was magical!
Great snorkeling trip! The water was gorgeous and clear! Has been a bucket list item for me to snorkel Silfra “between” the two tetonic plates. Adventures Vikings helped me checked off my bucket list item. Our group was the last one of the day and it was a small group, which made it felt very personable. Our guide Dory was very attentive and helpful which added even more to the experience and making it even more pleasant. Went as a solo traveler which can be hard doing large group activities but did not feel left out at all! Also Sky lagoon was fantastic highly recommend over blue lagoon went to both and loved the experience and views at sky lagoon
We had a great time snorkelling with our guide, Cristo! He made the experience very fun and put us right at ease. And the photos he gave us afterwards are fab! Our only slight complaint is that the small print indicates that you have the option to change the time slot for Sky Lagoon, but when we called them we were told their bookings were full, so wouldn't change our time slot. This meant we had to rearrange our plans for the day. Apart from that, we had a fab time and would definitely recommend this experience to others.
What an experience to be able to swim between tectonic plates. The water was so clear, the views were amazing. Highly recommend, it’s such a unique experience. Huge shoutout to our guide, Kevin, who was so fun - we had such a great time with him!
This tour was fantastic if you have booked a car in the city. The snorkeling was a once in a lifetime activity- just make sure you pack warm, wool socks bc our toes were freezing! We defrosted in the sky lounge, which was another fantastic pairing!
It was really unique experience! That day the weather was bad, windy and cloudy, but our guide Levin prepared us and relaxed pretty well for cold water and dry suite. When we dive into the water and saw many beautifull coluors so clear and so bright we were astonished. We really enjoyed snorkeling in Silfra. I would definitly recomend it to everybody who like nature and want to try something diferent. Our hot part in Sky lagoon we took day after and that place was wonderfull, with view to the ocean, it was really relaxing and peacefull. We enjoyed at 7 steps ritual too. Hot and cold combination of Silfra & Sky Lagoon was perfect!

We had the most wonderful experience snorkelling in Silfra with Doris as our guide, she is both professional and fun loving! Her instructions are clear and we felt safe in her hands. It’s an awesome experience putting on the dry suit and getting into icy cold water, yes we can’t feel our lips and fingers but we had so much fun! Strongly recommended!
Two of the more spectacular things we did in Iceland. Regarding the snorkeling, it was hella cold, and the prep work took a while, but it was well worth it. The guides, Arturo and Dory, were fun, informative, and extremely helpful. The view underwater was amazing. The bragging rights to be able to say this was something we did, priceless. The Sky Lagoon was the perfect way to end the experience. It was never too hot that you couldn’t just stay in the spa, and the Ritual felt a little gimmicky, but also quite enjoyable. But, it does have two advantages over the Blue Lagoon: first, very little crowd. Enough people to make you feel like you did a thing with others, but could easily move around and have nice moments alone, and second, the view was spectacular. The Infinity pool overlooking the ocean was amazing, and the swim-up bar was perfect.
