Fun guide, very knowledgeable in his work, and seemed to really love his job, which adds to experience overall.. always opened in answering any questions with witty remarks even after tour ended, as we saw him later in town😀

Loved it!!! Perfect place to start or explore the city!
Had a great time with Thor on our walking tour of Reykjavik! He was super personable, and so knowledgeable. We learned a lot about Iceland that we had no idea of before!! We 100% recommend this tour and definitely ask for Thor!
The first thing to do when you land in Iceland! ASI was a terrific tour guide and we learned about Icelandic culture, government, hotspots and fun places to visit!
Since I don't usually go on guided tours I must write this one down. Had an opportunity to follow the excellent guiding by Sara. This has been the best ever guided tour. She is so much fun, has this crazy contagious energy, knows so much about her town and is just pleasure and joy to listen and follow ar. I think we were all so delightthat the tour could easily last 5 hours...and I have a feeling she would still have so many great stories to tell. Thank you for this experience and keep on with great work and 'nipples have the power!' energy!
Today we did a walking tour in Reykjavík with Marteinn. We often do one of these tours when we visit a new city but we can honestly say that this one was one of the most enjoyable ones we have done to date. This is mainly down to out incredible guide. The city is really beautiful and we learned lots of interesting facts. Marteinn was really engaging, very funny and pitched it at exactly the right level. The area covered and information imparted was exactly right. He offered lots of great advice and was just a genuinely lovely guy. Thanks for a great morning.
Iceland is not a country with a vast history of epic events, more founded because Norwegiens drifted off course. But still our guide kept up a string of fascinating facts and amusing anecdotes keeping us engaged and learning through the 2 hr tour. Thoughly enjoyed it and would recommend.
Absolutely loved the tour with Nori! He was very informative, knowledgeable, and good at answering everyones questions. Would definitely recommend the tour to others.
Although cold (expected) our guide Asi was knowledgeable, funny, and entertaining. Super friendly guide with lots of interesting facts and the 2 hours went by in a flash. Only wish it was longer, thank you Asi. Highly recommend this great little tour, booked to kick off our trip to Iceland (with many helpful tips also along the way!)
Great tour. Charismatic, funny, awesome tour guide. Lasted around 2 hours. Crowd was somewhat large, but not an issue. Enjoyed every moment.
Nori was fantastic. He gave a great tour. Lots of history and personal touches. Pointed out good restaurants and tips for saving money.
Well paced and entertaining tour.Guide Nori excellent , humorous ,enchanting stories , covering lots of history .lots of useful advice .
Very nice tour, very nice tour guide Ouly. Thank you very much. Get very interesting information about Iceland and Reykjavik.
David gave a good overview of Reyjkavik and his knowledge and background were comprehensive but the pace of the tour dragged somewhat.
The tour was filled with excellent information, fun facts, and extremely well paced. Our guide, Asi, was incredible. The tour took exactly two hours and covered vast historical periods in Icelands existence.
Very informative. Eric is very knowledgeable about Icelandic history. Gave us loads of information on where to eat, further tours and suggestions of things to do. A great introduction to Reykjavik.
Very good guide, Asi.Everything that he explained was very interesting and with very good mood. Higly recommended, but try to be guided by Asi. Many thks
What a great way to be introduced to Reykjavik. Our guide, Martin, knew everything, had answers for all of our questions and had an incredible sense of humor. So we not only learned about the city and the country, but also laughed and smiled for two hours.
Very entertaining and informative. He really knows and loves Iceland. Also gave us great suggestions on what do do
Our guide was great, the tour amazing and suitable for toddlers. Got answers to a lot of questions. Our teenagers were very happy.
Outstanding! Don't miss this tour. It gives you an excellent overview of Iceland's history and political system while covering the major highlights in the city. All done in a clear manner with humor. All our family members loved it!
Asi was a great tour guide Very much enjoyed my time with him. Very knowledgeable and helpful to learn about city. So great.
Our plan was to utilize City Walk Reykjavík to orient ourselves to Reykjavík following our arrival. Marteinn was excellent in leading us around the city center, sharing history, stories, etc. We saw parliament, city hall, where the prime ministers works, and were able to walk around other government buildings. We also walked through the beautiful concert hall, past churches, and other historical landmarks. We learned the importance of the cultural markers/emblems, and were able to point them out as our tour progressed. He shared experiences and recommendations, giving us a great idea of how we could shop and eat local. After finishing Marteinn’s tour we felt knowledgeable about the city, how to get around, aware of landmarks, and the historical significance. This tour did more than familiarize us with Reykjavík. We now have a deeper appreciation as we begin our vacation exploring Reykjavík and Iceland as a whole.
Great guide (Asi) who was informative and also jovial. He had good walking pace with key stops and added a few personal anecdotes.
This tour was informative with a dash of humor, can´t recommend it enough. Having a trip like this should be mandatory for tourists. Thank you Marteinn.
Great walk, super nice and funny guide (Martinn) thank you a lot! A few stops weren’t what we would have visited on our own, so very interesting!
Thomas was an amazing guide! We loved the tour - best way to get an overview of the history of Iceland and the main attractions! Highly highly recommend it!
Took the tour with Oli, it was funny and he shared a lot of good information. Totally worth it to check out Reykjavik city.
We flew in and immediately jumped into a walking tour with ASI. It was fantastic! We learned a lot, laughed a lot, and left with some excellent recommendations! Definitely do this!
Just come back from a wonderful walking tour with our Guide, Martin. Great fun, lots of laughs and very informative on both the History of Reykjavik and fun facts. A great way to see the centre!
We did the 2 hour city walk with an emphasis on food. Marteinn was funny, knowledgeable and attentive. Will recommend this to any and all who go to Reykjavik.
We just had a tour with Nori, he was passionate and empathetic, fun, he made jokes so that the tour was not resulting too serious and gave recommendations Recommending it!
Our tour was great! Sara was lovely, she explained everything really well and gave us excellent tips for where to go and how to save a bit of money. Couldn't have had a better guide
We had just one day in Reykjavik - this walking tour was perfect to give us a snapshot of the city. Jacob was great (a student studying for his advanced degree in history); being born and raised here had expansive knowledge of both the city and the country as a whole. A very knowledgeable and enjoyable experience, would highly recommend.
Olaf was a brilliant, informative guide who was able to inform us about the fascinating history of Reykjavik as we walked around the town. Her local knowledge and her great sense of humour kept it interesting and left us wanting more.
Our guide Oli was lovely and gave us lots of facts about Reykjavik and Iceland. It was a wonderful and snowy experience. Thanks
Oleg and his cousin were great! Well spoken and knowledgeable, highly recommend. The tour was well paced and well organized.
This was a great 2 hour walking tour. Andrew our guide was superb, very knowledgeable and informative and funny. Told us some amazing stories. You pay at the end either by cash or a email link, what you think it was worth. I highly recommend this tour if you have a spare 2 hours in Reykjavík, you won’t be disappointed.
We went on the free walking tour with Asi and we had the best time! It was a great introduction to Reykjavik and gave us insight to history, culture, and recommended places to go. It was a very chilly day but with the right gear on and the stops we took to quickly warm up inside, it was barely noticeable ;). Highly recommend!!!
Our tour gide Mathias was very professional and funny who gave us a lot of information about the culture and the sights of city of Reykjavik! Do not forget to mention that is a very good singer as well
We were immediately impressed by guide Oli's warm and engaging personality, which combined entertaining anecdotes with insightful information, covering all our desired destinations.
Asi was an informative, welcoming patient, super fun guide with a real passion for the City. His tour was a perfect introduction to my visit, peppering in just the right amount of history, trivia, and local tips. Truly fun, enjoyable and the two hours just flew by! Highly recommended!
We got to experience the most iconic sights of Reikiavik, as well as many hidden gems in the city! Full of historic background, funny and exciting tour!
Así was a great guide! Definitely recommend. Knowledgeable and put a humorous not on all the talks. It was rainy but still had a blast
Noori was a stellar CityWalk tour guide. We did this tour on July 24, 2024, at 10:30am. We were in Reykjavik for just over 1 week, and this was our first of many booked tours/excursions. I can easily say that Noori was the best guide that we had during this one week. He is enthusiastic, engaging, charismatic and very entertaining. Everyone in our group of 4 people thoroughly enjoyed his tour, despite the not-so-great weather. The two hours went by fast. Well done, Noori! (sorry about the spelling of your name).
We had a really nice time, despite the rain and nasty outside weather, which is typical of Iceland. Olof was amazing and so knowledgeable. She really enhanced our experience!
Best walking tour I've been on in ages. Nori is so engaging & knowledgeable. He covers history, culture, local lure, architecture, and tips for restaurants & shopping--using entertaining stories and humor. The 2 hours whizzed by. Highly recommended!
Andrew is the best guide! He knows everything and he is very funny! It is really worth it because it is not presented in a touristic way!
A fun and informative tour filled with information you can’t get from a guidebook. Andrew (from Scotland) our guide, was enthusiastic, and passionate to educate about all aspects of the city. Highly recommend for the time between morning and arrival and hotel checkin.
The city walk tour was the best possible introduction to Reykjavík. Olof has a deep knowledge of Icelandic history and folklore. As an Australian on their first trip to Iceland it was a perfect start to our 12 day holiday. We were taken to many special historic locations and now have an appreciation for what we are seeing. Thank you Olaf for answering our many questions. We really appreciated our time with you.
