Thingholt Hotel Apartments From Center Hotels

​We had a wonderful experience staying at Þingholt by Center Hotels. From the moment we arrived, the staff was exceptionally warm, welcoming, and helpful. Arriving off an early flight, we were thrilled when they accommodated an early check-in for us at 10:00 AM—it made a massive difference to our trip and set such a positive tone for our entire stay. ​The room was spotless, comfortable, and maintained to a very high standard of cleanliness throughout our visit. Breakfast every morning was simply fantastic. They offer an extensive spread with bacon, eggs, fresh pancakes, fruit, and virtually everything else you could want to fuel up for a long day of sightseeing. Also, we had an early check-out at 4:30 AM, so they gave us a grab-and-go breakfast, a croissant and coffee as well. ​The location is unbeatable. It is situated right in the center, making it easy to walk everywhere in downtown Reykjavik. Best of all, it is just steps away from Bus Stop 3, which made tour pickups and drop-offs completely seamless and stress-free. ​Highly recommended, and we would definitely stay here again!

Amazing service and attention from the staff members. Rodrigo was particularly attentive. We enjoyed very much our stay there. The breakfast is really good. Natural and good quality. Beds are comfortable, shower good pressure and temperature. The location of this hotel is unique. You have a really good sushi restaurant beside the hotel. You can get to the most important places to see in less than 12 minutes walking. Definitively a good option.

Stayed in the apartments for our first two nights in Iceland and it did not disappoint. Centrally located and easy to get to from KEF on the bus. Accommodations were immaculately clean, stylishly decorated, and very comfortable for two people. We got upgraded to a one bedroom, which featured a half wall between the bedroom/bathroom and living space (no door or curtain). The neighborhood was quiet with lots of food and drink options and a grocery store within a ten minute walk. Parking was included and easily accessible around back (first come, first serve). Nice extra touches like a towel warmer in the bathroom, stylish throw on the bed, and good blackout curtains made this feel very homey. Would definitely recommend.

Location was great and parking was not too difficult to manage within a few blocks with my rental car. The room was quite small and tight but worked out well. Comfortable bed and pillows, quiet room that made sleep easy. Clean room. Breakfast was convenient and tasty each morning, though felt like the spread was a little limited compared to other European hotels I stayed at later in my stay. The morning "to go" breakfast service felt like a bit of joke - a coffee and tiny croissant for the same price as a full breakfast.
