Room is comfortable for our group of 4 adults and 1 teen and 1 child. The location is excellent and very walkable to Main town. The main reason I give it a 3 star is because the communication with the property manager is awful/nonexistent and the unit lacks on basic amenities. There was only 1 partial roll of bathroom tissue for all of us and the shower shampoo and soap bottles were empty. They provided 4 towels even though we booked for 6. The thermostats in the room were non functional and the kitchen was very lacking as well. If we knew of this upfront that wouldn't be a problem but it wasn't clear before we booked. We reached out to management before, during and after the stay and never got replies to any of our questions. Overall if you get a good rate you can book just expect a comfy room but no amenities. For elderly or if you have lots of luggage please know there are several steps and there is no elevator. There is no parking but street parking near by is low cost or even free on some streets

Our stay at the so-called "luxury apartment" was disappointing and did not match the photos or expectations. Instead of a modern, well-maintained space, we found ourselves in a rather old and worn studio with a different layout than advertised. The entrance was uninviting, lacking cozy plants, good lighting, or a comfortable seating area for four people. The rug on the floor was dirty, with raised edges that posed a tripping hazard. The dining table was clean but completely empty, and one of the chairs had a large tear. The kitchen had not been thoroughly cleaned; we had to unpack the dishwasher ourselves. Inside the cupboards, we found dirty pans and cutlery, and the toaster was in a disgusting state. Walls and closets showed visible damage and looked quite battered. The fridge’s freezer compartment was fully iced over and unusable, though it appeared clean. Compared to other apartments we've stayed in Iceland, this place did not provide coffee, which was quite disappointing given the price. All windows were dirty, resembling fogged-up windshields, making it difficult to see outside clearly. The bathroom had plenty of clean towels, but the shower area was subpar, broken faucet handle, loose tiles, heavy mold on the seams, and uneven flooring that could cause injury. The floor heating, indicated by various panels in each room, was non-functional; we couldn’t adjust the temperature, and it didn’t work in several rooms, including the bathroom. The bed linens seemed clean, though there were some stains on two pillows. The apartment floor was not very clean, with dust clusters visible throughout. Bedside lights could not be used if you wanted to plug in a phone charger, and all sockets were covered in dust. Additionally, a blind in the kitchen was missing, with only the mounting brackets left behind. Overall, I would describe our stay as a disappointment, more run-down than luxurious.
A great place, with all the necessary infrastructure & kitchen amenities. The rooms are well designed, and spacious. Comfortable beds with underlying heating for all the rooms, even bathrooms! Added advantage - they have a dishwasher.
Easy to find and while parking looks intimidating. There’s actually plenty of spaces around to park. Rooms are spacious and clean. Large fridge to store food and excellent kitchen countertop for you to prepare meals.
It is a self catering apartment at the heart of the city. Excellent kitchen, cost, comfortable, warm. The parking outside is free from 6pm to 9am. There is no 24 hour free parking. The major landmarks are a walk away.
