I’ve been stopping by Xavier and Marie’s Champagne estate since they opened their showroom in 2020, and I always buy my Champagne there. Their Millésime is outstanding — and even highly rated. In May 2026, I organized a group visit with friends, and Xavier gave us a tour with the depth and clarity of someone who truly knows his craft — a professional trying to guide, not a guide trying to sound like a professional. It was one of the highlights of our Champagne trip.

Elio was an amazing guide for our champagne tasting! He was excellent at explaining the fermentation process and flavor profile of each type of champagne. He patiently listened to and answered our questions and was a genuinely proud to share the delicious products on offer. An ideal ambassador for a wonderful company!

Xavier and his wife we lovely! I learned so much from this charming couple about the region and his family business! What a special way to kick off our ladies getaway time in France - 10 out of 10 recommend ! We even brought a picture of one our friends that couldn’t come and he was a good sport about including her!

We had an incredible experience at Lallement Massonnet and can’t recommend it enough. The tour felt so much more personal than visiting one of the larger champagne houses. It was fascinating to learn that such a small team is responsible for every step of the process—from maintaining the vineyards and harvesting the grapes to producing, bottling, and selling the champagne. You can really see the pride and passion they put into their work, and it made us appreciate every glass even more. The champagne was excellent, but what really stood out was the opportunity to connect with the people behind it and hear their story firsthand. If you’re looking for an authentic, family-run champagne experience, this is absolutely worth a visit. Highly, highly recommend!

We had a wonderful experience at Champagne Lallement Massonnot. Faustine was very welcoming, friendly, and passionate. The discovery of the vineyard and the explanation of the winemakers’ work gave us a real understanding of what goes into every bottle of Champagne. The tasting was excellent, and we highly recommend this authentic family Champagne House!

This experience left me wanting more. The location is beautiful, with views of a large valley. At the start of the tour, we walked across the street from the main building to talk about the grapes and process for about 20 minutes, but just stayed in that one location. We then went into the building and the tasting was all of us just standing at the reception desk. We were finished in under an hour, but we invited to walk in the vineyards on our own. The highlight was the tour lead, who was very friendly and knowledgeable. If you just want to taste the wine, this may satisfy you. But I wouldn't consider it an "experience".

Despite us being late we still got a shortened explanation and the full tasting experience. Definitely recommend!

A very interesting experience standing amongst the vines to learn more about the making of Champagne! Dog friendly so our little dog was allowed, the champagne was very good and we purchased a case at a very reasonable price.

Great experience. The host explained the entire process and gave us a tour of the vineyards. The 3 champagnes we tasted were amazing. It was a small group of 6 of us totally in the tour so it felt very private. Would recommend.

I have been here with my university class and we had the change to see the vineyards with Xavier and Marie and get explanation of the production process, the differences in grapes , the bottling. Then we continued with a class on sales and finally we did a tasting of the three wines. I really suggest it, it has been amazing!

We had a great experience. The champagne country is beautiful. The young lady who helped us today was super personable and super knowledgeable. We speak very little French and she was so gracious and educated us in the growing and production process in English. We were just amazed at how complex the champagne business is. They educate you on so many aspects of the business to how the vines are grown, pruned and maintained to how the grapes are picked, processed and bottled. All the way to the various qualities of grape production in the region. The champagne tasting was absolutely amazing. Their champagnes are very tasty and they educate you on the range of flavors you can experience for each of the champagnes you select to taste. We would highly recommend this tour!!

This was mine and specially may mom’s first ever visit to France let alone a french vineyard. So the experience had to be perfect to carve a lasting fond memory. This boutique vineyard, specially our wine connoisseur Marie was just a wonderful host, fluent in english, a must for my family. Her knowledge of the soil, fields and that if grapes were second to none. I am very pleased to have chosen this place for our authentic experience. Specially for my parents who travelled all the way from Nepal a d experiencing this sort of thing firsthand. Will highly recommend this winery and vineyard.

Everything was great - intimate- fascinating and the champagne was exquisite.- we really enjoyed our visit. It’s the most beautiful area and the guide was superb.

Faustine gave me a wonderful tour of the vineyard, explaining the region and its grapes in detail. The tasting was the perfect finale. I’ll definitely be coming back soon to get more champagne.

She showed us the different types of grapes, had us taste them & then explained about the pruning process & how it’s different for each type of grape. We really learned a lot & then enjoyed 3 different tastes. I highly recommend this tour & this champagne. Thank you again

We visited as a family with our son and little dog and had a great champagne tasting and a tour of the vineyard. The location is stunning, with a lot of parking and next to the beautiful vineyards. The tour guide was from the Champagne region and she was very passionate and knowledgeable about the Champagne industry including sustainable farming, production and marketing. We learned so much and really enjoyed. If you want to enjoy a pleasant tasting in the vineyards, this is the place.

Marie knows her champagne. She is a hardworking owner of a vineyard together with her husband Xavier and it’s rare to see such sincerity and care in producing one of the best things from France. I have to take my hat off to them as the champagne is delicious as good as any top rated brand out there if not better. A true find this week. Also… charming chat and history. My friends and I had a really lovely time at this vineyards, just a short hop outside Reims. Faustine was so welcoming, friendly and helpful - sharing such interesting information. She even helped by recommending a restaurant for us for the evening. And of course the champagne was 😋. I would recommend.

Fabulous personal tour of the beautiful vineyards - we learned so much about growing the grapes that make champagne. A lovely young lady looked after us, and Marie also came out to say hello. The champagnes were beautiful, and we came away with several bottles. It's definitely worth a visit 👌🥂

Awesome tour by Marie. I felt it was a very sincere sharing session and in depth knowledge from Marie. Can visit the vineyards and she shared with us her personal story of how she know her husband and got to do this champagne work which I personally love her sharing. Is so sincere and is like sharing with friends. So not like those usual tours that is so dry and technical. There are 5 champagne to choose 3 to taste of your choice and within your group. The champagne tasted so good! For those coming, can just book this tour and use bolt app to book transport to come here. So is quite easy and don’t need join those expensive tour. Highly recommend a visit to this champagne house. A lovely warm welcome from Marie Lallement to both my husband and me and our 2 dogs. Marie is very knowledgable and passionate about the production and her product. Such a personal experience, so different to being herded round a large producer. We loved the opportunity to taste the different champagnes. Really impressed and of course we bought some to take home. Thank you!

Nice winery in the Champagne region. Very lovely host couple who present their champagnes with a lot of passion and also want to bring the Champagne region closer to their visitors. Super introduction to the tasting; depending on demand, you get basic and/or advanced knowledge conveyed. The champagne house pursues a straightforward, elegant style throughout their range, good minerality, and great drinkability. Definitely makes you want to not only taste but also drink one or two bottles. 1 case went home with us right away.

Warm welcome, deeply human, affordable and accessible, Marie knew how to receive me and put me at ease in order to help me discover her farm and her new life in the champagne region while introducing me to this appellation. Of course, the tasting was the icing on the cake! I highly recommend it!

We arrived spontaneously, following a recommendation from friends, and were able to book a small tasting on-site without an appointment with 3 glasses per person. The employee was very friendly and dedicated and vividly told us interesting aspects about the production of the champagne varieties, all of which we found very delicious. We thought that everything was organized perfectly and illustrated clearly with visual material. We enjoyed it and learned something. Clear recommendation. Thank you very much.
