Everything was on time. Thomas, our guide was amazing. He explained all the historical facts with detail, because he has plenty of knowledge about the region, houses and process for making champagne. He was patient with us regarding our questions, time for shopping, etc. A gentleman helping us with the bags and boxes. The champagne’s houses were great and the lunch was delicious. This was a fantastic tour! Zoe our guide was lovely and knowledgeable. We enjoyed visiting the champagne houses and learning the history and the wine making! It was a lovely day, lunch was delicious and it was the perfect day! Highly recommend!
Our guide Zoe was fantastic and very knowledgeable! This was a perfect day and a lovely way to visit the champagne houses and the beautiful region. Lunch was fantastic and it was a truly wonderful day!
My friend and I booked this tour as my friend’s daughter and her husband had taken this tour two years old and they raved about their guide Émilie. We were thrilled to find out that Emilie was our guide as well. The tour was very educational and informative. We began the day at Mumm which was a great starting point. The family run Vineyard was a lovely contrast to Mumm. After the tour we had an amazing homemade lunch with champagne and wine pairings in a spectacular setting. We met Mathias the winemaker which made it even more special. Our next stop included a few tasting of different champagnes. Émilie guided us through the entire experience. She is an amazing guide that shared her knowledge of the region, the champagne process and her passion for it all. Merci Émilie!
This was a wonderful experience. So much information and history of the Champagne industry. A definite must do while in Reims
The tour visited a large and a small producer which provided a first rate understanding of the range of champagne production.
Amazing champagne and experience. Our tour guide was fabulous as well! Definitely recommend booking this tasting/tour. Do not do the large group tours through other private guides/groups. Book the smaller private tour. :0)
The trip is fun and informative! Each ride between the vineyards is not that long. All in all very comfortable. Loved it!
Zoe was terrific! she was very nice and extremely knowledgeable. we visited 3 wineries in Reims and Epernay. we had a small group of 7 and had a great time . plenty of time to ask questions and tour the properties . the tastings were well organized and lots of fun. lunch was amazing as well . enough time to enjoy local food and take a break during the full day tour. highly recommend the tour and Zoe !
Great variety of vineyards. Learned the process and history of Champagne and it’s history. Visited 3 Champagne houses, all different. Lunch was amazing. Favorite day in France. Highly recommend. Thimas was great!
We had a few great experiences at different Champagne houses. We absolutely loved Mums. And we walked into La Clos Corbier just as they were doing their bottling process and got to watch. As far as tastings that house was just ok. The 3rd house we didn't care for the Champagne at all. Our guide Markane was kind and knowledgeable and took us to a few beautiful look outs.
This was one of the best tours that we’ve ever been on, and we’ve been on a LOT. Our guide Thomas was so knowledgeable, but he also made it feel like spending the day with a friend, not a tour guide. We learned a lot, tasted so much champagne I lost count, and had a wonderful meal outside at one of the vineyards. The small group size was perfect - the six of us had a fantastic time together, even though we all just met at the beginning of the day. We easily did this tour as a day trip from Paris, trains were easy to navigate and the meeting spot was steps away from the train station. We were completely taken care of the entire day…if you’re looking to experience the champagne region in a day trip - this is it!
Great! Comfortable tour, great knowledge from our guide (Anne) and of course, amazing champagne. Highly recommend
We were met on time, friendly and knowledgeable guide. The day was very interesting and great value for money- wonderful food and champagne tasting. It was a shame we couldn’t walk around the vineyards due to rain. The second cellar tour was a little repetitive from the Mumm tour. We had a great day, thank you so much.
Tour consisted of a visit to a large Champagne house (Mumm), a couple smaller, and stops at the place where Dom Perignon is buried plus some scenic views. Our guide was pleasant and understandable. She knew the Champagne details, but was light on geography and geology. At Mumm, the first stop, she had to drop us off and pick us up 1.5 hours later, as the house has its own guides. I was disappointed that Mumm only provided a single tasting (all othes provided 3). The house definitely has a *vast* estate below ground! Lunch was included at our 2nd stop by the producer. The courses were paired with different Champagnes, described by a staff member. Strangely, our guide again left us for the duration of this visit. I feel we got a good overview of Champagne and a selection of producers at multiple sizes. I do wish the tour guide had been more 'engaged'.
We stayed in Épernay and did the Moet tour followed by lunch at a small champagne grower/producer. Our guide was Eva and she was a knowledgeable and friendly lady who helped make the day flow smoothly. Moet and Chandon tour was very impressive in scale and professional in execution. The small family growers were producing just a few thousand bottles a year- it was an interesting counterpoint and experience to the big champagne houses. You will get offered a lot of different champagnes to try in the day- pace yourself! We thought the lunch was the last stop but there was one more. Nice to buy a bottle or two from the small producers and support their family business.
Incredible! Three very different champagne producers with so much great education and wonderful tastings. Ava, our guide, was fantastic!!
Chloe was a great guide, wonderful day in Champagne!
Excellent tour of champagne houses, both large and family run. Great host in Jerome, he was very knowledgeable. Mercedes van was clean and with 6 passengers very comfortable.
Tomas, our tour guide, was professional and very knowledgeable. Tomas answered all our questions as he informed us about the champagne region. I enjoyed seeing the operations of a large house such as Mumm and then the operations/cellars of Collard-Milesi and the Picalt-Thiout. Lunch was delicious.
We thoroughly enjoyed our small group tour with Anne! We began with a short view of important places in Reims Then headed for a cave tour and tasting at Pommery. The caves also Serve as an art exhibit, which was a Beautiful surprise! Not only did we enjoy learning about the champagne house, but also enjoyed all aspects of the tour. We then went onto two small champagne houses. We had a tasting and Lunch at champagne Collery. The luncheon pairings were delightful. Then to P. Lancelot-Royer. We felt so lucky to meet a family run, small champagne farm and see the production. And we loved the champagne and had some shipped home . We can’t thank you enough for inviting us into your home, such a treat. Anne was knowledgeable and delightful as a host and tour guide. Thank you for a memorable experience.
The experience was excellent! Susan was so knowledgeable and was very helpful with questions and telling us about the champagne. We loved going to smaller family houses made the experience so personalized. The lunch we had was amazing and delicious.
Anne was fantastic and a great tour guide. She did a great job showing us the region, from large houses like Mumm where we really learned history and the industry to smaller more intimate houses nestled amongst scenic vineyards. A real professional with a history and intimate knowledge of the region and industry. Lunch was the best lunch we had while in France. Overall a great experience that we would highly recommend.
Fabulous time, Susan was great and we learned so much about the region and the Champagne processes. Highly recommend.
This was a wonderful day, learning so much about champagne and seeing beautiful scenery and sampling fine champagne and a pleasant lunch. our guide, Chloe, was exceptional.
This was a really lovely day out with great generous tastings and wonderful lunch at Collery in Aÿ included. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit of the Mumm Cellars and then P. Lancelot- Roger in Cramant with our great guide Chloe.
This was a very enjoyable tour. Our guide was wonderful. She was very knowledgeable about champagne as well as the area. I especially enjoyed our lunch in the smaller winery. I would definitely recommend this tour to friends.
What an exceptional day trip… a little on the early morning side.. but worth it! Our tour guide Leah was amazing and knowledgeable!!!!
Great day with a really good guide. We were well looked after and learnt a lot of very interesting facts about champagne. We visited a number of champagne houses and were served a really tasty lunch. Great job Chloe
We spent the day in the great company of Thomas and a lovely group of people. Did a visit to Mumm in Reims in the morning followed by a wonderful lunch and tastings at Colliery in Epernay, a visit to Dom Perignon's place of rest and then more tastings at Michel Fagot. I would not hesitate to recommend this tour company and would book with them direct in the future as we had a great day and absolutely loved it.
Our guide, Thomas, was excellent and we had a wonderful time with our group seeing spots we would have never made it to.
It was an amazing experience where I learnt so much and got to try some amazing champagne/food. Suzanne was an exceptional guide, her English was great and she was a delight!
This was a fantastic experience and absolutely great value for money! Suzanne was excellent and we learnt so much from her and all the places we visited. The lunch was beautiful and we certainly didn’t go hungry! The country side is simply magic! Highly recommended!
Excellent value for money, knowledgeable guide, beautiful lunch. Suzanne was awesome and the countryside is gorgeous!
The host was excellent. He had such extensive knowledge of the wine industry because he had worked in it. The experience had the right amount of wineries to visit and places to stop and take photos. Lunch was excellent and extensive with the wines matched beautifully.
This is a wonderful experience! Our driver Etienne was very knowledgeable and engaging. The lunch was delicious, and we all enjoyed the tastings. It was nice to be in a small group, as we all got to know each other a bit.
I highly recommend this tour, you will learn all about champagne and the champagne region. My tour guide was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, thank you Thomas! The groups are small so you can ask questions. I learned so much, enjoyed delicious food, and tasted several varieties of champagne! The champagne region is so beautiful and I was able to share the experience with my adult daughters, a memory to treasure!
A lovely day out, meeting new people and sipping lovely champagne. The Tour by Mumm was extremely informative and scored a big five. The small houses were a delight to visit. The families are extremely passionate and you can taste that through their champagne. Both farms were amazing to visit. We loved the tasting at Lamiable, a beautiful experience, you could feel the love for his champagne by the owner. Our lunch was at Collard-Milesi, a beautiful setting were we enjoyed a well prepared lunch with lovely champagne. Our group was lovely, great conversations and good laughs. We visited a small church - Dom Perignon was buried. The minibus was well airconditioned and spacious for the group of 7. The guide was friendly, knowledgeable and shared his passion abundantly. Jerome shared a lot of information and went out of his way to drop us closer with all our bottles of champagne. The tour is certainly a recommendation if you want to sit back and relax and learn the history of Champagne
What a brilliant day we had. Suzanne was the perfect host. Great English, indepth knowledge and close relationships with the Champagne Houses we visited. We had a combination of Mumm in Reims but also 2 fabulous independent Champagne makers plus various other sites in and around Epernay. Thank you Suzanne, totally recommend.
Amazing Tour!!! Anne was very knowledgeable and very interesting. I began with a private transfer to GH Mumm and then was picked up to continue to the remainder of the tour. The family grower was my favourite and you saw the process and also received tastings.
This was a lovely mix of a large champagne house (Mumms) and small family champagne houses. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The small group ensured that everyone received personal attention. Lunch was delicious!
Going to Mumm and then lunch at a small winery and then an even smaller one to visit was just the experience we were looking for. Tomas was great and he gave some great information. I have a much deeper appreciation for how champagne is made and definitely would recommend this. The views were great.
This area is beautiful and well worth the visit. The tour of Mumms was fascinating too. The only negative I have is there was confusion regarding the meet time with our guide. A confirmation stated 9:30 a m, and the tour guide fave us the impression we were to meet her at 9:20 and almost left without us.
This was a well constructed tour. The meal in the middle of the day was far beyond our expectation and the tour guide, Anne, was very knowledgeable.
The tour was amazing and a highlight of our trip so far. Our tour guide Anne was amazing, very knowledgeable and took the time to answer questions we had along the way. Highly recommend.
Suzanne was a fantastic tour guide. She is extremely knowledgeable about the entire process from trimming/maintenance of the vines and harvesting the grapes to the of making champagne. The contrast of a large production house to a family owned was really interesting. We weren't expecting a 4 course lunch paired with champagne, so that was an extra treat. It was fun and informative. So glad we did it!
Etienne was a great guide. We learned so much and had a wonderful time with fantastic tastings. Highly recommended!
Very knowledgeable and accommodating guide! Selection of champagne houses was also informative. Lunch was excellent!
Manon was the best. Excellent tour and perfect knowledge and hospitality. Plenty of drinking also😂😂
We had a full day tour which included two smaller growers and Mumm tour on Saturday with Emilie. She was extremely knowledgeable and explained the process to us all. We were in a great group and our first stop was at champagne Didierlaurent, port a Hinson, with a fabulous lunch at Champagne Collard-Milesi. Emily was an excellent tour guide and gave us time to enjoy the tastings, lunch and look around the church at Hautevilliers also. I personally enjoyed Emilies explanations which were clearer than the tour guide in Mumm tour. Highly recommended day, thoroughly enjoyable, insightful and entertaining
