Delightful and educational afternoon with our expert guide Suzanne. She is a fantastic communicator and provided a welcoming environment to learn about the champagne region. We all had a tremendous experience and gained knowledge about the region, the people and production of champagne. We also sampled divine bubbles. 🥂

Very informative and well-paced. Susana has amazing local knowledge and explained the whole process of grape growing and champagne making very clearly.
Hi was a great tour. Et at Gare de Reims and left promptly. The tour guide, Tomas was a great driver and answered all our questions. We had an interesting group from the US and the UK. Visited a church dedicated to Dom Perignon. Visited two champagne houses with a short tour and good samples/tastings (Veueve Maitre Geoffrey and Picart-Thiout). And I made it back with time to spare for my train to Paris. Good times. One thing I wish we had was some small plates of food.
Loved our day in the champagne region. The area is beautiful and having a guided tour was a great way to see so much.
It’s a nice shorter trip to discover local family vineyards. A great opportunity to be in a small group with a knowledgeable guide. We got to try 3 types in both places. Really good prices to buy what you’ve tried too!
AMAZING to see the small growers, see the beautiful scenery while learning so much about the region, its history and how much labor goes into a bottle of champagne
Suzanne was the perfect guide.
Took a side trip to Reims for two days to enjoy some champagne. The itinerary was altered due to a 5k/10k run in Reims that same day however it did not take away from the fun. Tour guide was awesome I wish i could recall her name, Janice possibly. Small group of 8 made for a more intimate and relaxed tour. Champagne and the views were incredible
Our guide Emilie was very knowledgeable about champagne, the process and the area. Very enjoyable experience.
Lovely afternoon visiting 2 small growers. Thomas was a great driver and guide. Communication from Trip Advisor was good.
It was a wonderful afternoon. Great champagne and all around a fun day! We enjoyed the other guests on the tour.
Excellent (even in the rain). Zoe (sp?)was welcoming and knowledgeable! Lovely afternoon. :) Would definitely recommend!
We thoroughly enjoyed this experience and would highly recommend it to anyone! We had Marcainne as our tour guide and he was brilliant, very knowledgeable and made the experience more fun. The tastings were very enjoyable and going to family owned vineyards which were beautiful made it just that more personal. We bought a bottle at both vineyards but there was no pressure to do this from Marcainne or those working at the Vineyards. A very pleasant way to spend an afternoon, and would love to do it all over again!
Excellent tour. We visted two vineyards and tasted 6 champagne - 3 at each. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable. Driving was excellent. Would recommend this 4.5 hour tour.
The family vineyards were nice, we liked both vineyards I expected more of a known vineyard The woman talked and I didn’t listened to her because she was driving and I was on the back of the van
Zoe was an excellent tour guide, knowledgeable and everything went like clockwork. A relaxed tour, 2 lovely houses with informed and generous tasting. It was just as we had imagined it would be. Thank you for lovely and memorable afternoon.
Wonderful experience and learned a lot! The town was beautiful and the drive was beautiful as well. Our leader was very informative and kind
We had a wonderful afternoon with Ava. Appreciated her knowledge and professionalism. Great tour of the French countryside.
Very nice introduction to Champagne growers. Guide was pleasant and knowledgeable. Would certainly recommend.
After taking a similar tour in Tuscany earlier this year, my expectations were higher, especially considering the price of this tour. Pros * The tour departed on time, despite one attendee not showing up on time. * The size of the group and the quality of the transportation, including the driver/guide’s microphone, which allowed everyone to hear everything clearly. * The guide’s proficiency in English. * The opportunity to get out of the city and visit the surrounding area. * Reasonable Champagne prices at the wineries. Cons * The guide’s jokes felt forced and rehearsed. * The atmosphere at the second winery was disappointing. Nobody welcomed us, so our only point of contact was the guide. We were seated at a small table in the courtyard/parking area, squeezed between a rubbish skip and the building. My review probably wouldn’t be so critical if we hadn’t visited small wineries in Tuscany and, the following day, one of the major Champagne houses in the city. The cellar tour at the latter cost about one-third of the family-grower tour, so if you want to get better value for your money, I would recommend booking tours at two of the major Champagne houses instead. You’ll save some money and, in my opinion, have a better overall experience of visiting Champagne houses and tasting Champagne.
Pleasant afternoon drive in the champagne region visiting two wineries. Three decent size tastings at each winery and there was no pressure to purchase.
Our driver and your leader was very well informed and a pleasure to be with. The samplings were great but this much alcohol deserves a bit of food to partner with. Lacked bread and cheese.
Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and so friendly! He truly made our experience wonderful. 10/10!
Jane, our guide, she is sooo nice! With music on the way to producer, introduction of champagne, from grape to bottle. Fully recommend!
We had a great tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable both about the history of champagne, Reims and French world history
Thomas is a wonderful tour guide! He’s very knowledgeable about the champagne process as well as friendly and personable.
The tour was misleading. The tour was not of Reims or Epernay. We drove a distance to a smaller champagne house, maneuvered around narrow staircase , walked thru backyards. I didn’t enjoy the selections of growers. The visit to Dom Perignon gravesite was ok. I suggest selecting a champagne house in Reims and tour and taste there.
While the spots our guide took us were decent, it felt very slow moving and our guide was not as enthusiastic as others we’ve had during our time in France.
This tour was great fun! We enjoyed the company of two other small groups. The guide Marcainne was excellent, he was knowledgeable and made the experience i terse to g and entertaining, we would recommend this tour!
The tour takes you to independent Champagne houses. You will try single grape varieties of Champagne. Incredibly knowledgeable tour guides, Emily was fantastic, I learnt so much and tasted some great champagnes.
This was a fantastic experience, from the history to the process and of course the tastings! Chloe was our guide and she made the experience wonderful as well, sharing her knowledge and making us laugh - I would recommend this experience!
Jerome was awesome! We had a great time! We learned a lot about champagne making and the region. Thank you!
We had an amazing time with Chloe during our tour! She gave the perfect amount of information and made it fun. Being able to see the smaller producers was definitely a highlight and something we would have not been able to do on our own. The only word of caution- you do spend about half the time of the tour in the car traveling from place to place. We didn’t expect that - it still was a lovely experience but just something to know before booking.
Very enjoyable afternoon. Our guide Susanne was friendly and professional and had a great knowledge of the champagne region and making of champagne. We learned a lot!
McCain...our guide was great, friendly easy going and knowledgeable who made the whole tour enjoyable. I would recommend it if you want a bit of history, some rounds of champagne, scenic drives, vantage points, and great way to experience the origins of Champagne.
A great day out visiting two small champagne producers and learning about how champagne is made and the strong characters behind its history. Chloe was very well informed, friendly and welcoming and was able to answer any questions. The producers were located in lovely villages and were very friendly and helpful despite being busy with production and they were rightly proud of their champagne which we all enjoyed! Highly recommended
Fabulous experience. Chloe our guide was knowledgeable and instructive. Her understanding of the champagne process was extensive. Sux tastings and we were glad she was driving. Great small group and perfectly co ordinated.
Excellent tour guide, Zoe. Very knowledgeable and enthusiastic and was very informative about champagne production. The two estates we visited were very different and gave us a good understanding of the production process.
Great afternoon with Suzzane, she is very knowledgeable about champagne. She is friendly, explains the process well and history of Reims
Wonderful tour to learn about champagne from the vine to the bottle. We enjoyed the down to earth experience and the family owned and operated champagne houses.
A wonderful afternoon with a delightful and well informed host. Suzanne shared her love of champagne and willingly answered all our questions. Highly recommended !
Thomas is an outstanding guide. Pick up at the train station was straight-forward. We stopped at Hautvilliers, a gorgeous viewpoint, and visited 2 independent champagne makers. We saw the chalky soil where the vines grow. We learned about the champagne making process including seeing a cave. Harvest was occurring, so we saw people in the fields working hard to collect the grapes. The villages and vines of the reason are gorgeous. This tour is well worth your time and money. Don’t miss this opportunity.
Great guide - Chloe. The only issue was that this was an English speaking tour and 2 of the guest were not too fluent so the 3rd on their party did a lot of translating while Chloe was speaking - a little distracting
We had an awesome experience. Would highly recommend
The tour guide Zoe was fabulous. She was very knowledgeable, experienced, friendly and generous with her time. She knew all about the champagnes and production process. She was also a good driver. It was a nice experience with the 4 stops which included 2 champagne growers.
Emily was so knowledgeable about the history and making of wine. So friendly and accommodating. We saw other sights/places besides the 2 estates where we had lovely tastings. A really great way to spend an afternoon in Champagne
We really enjoyed this full afternoon tour with our excellent & knowledgable guide Jerome. We visited 2 family-run wineries, learned all about champagne - history and production - and sampled chilled glasses of the different varieties. There was the opportunity to purchase bottles too. A visit to a local church (burial place of Dom Perignon), views of the local countryside and vineyards, as well as great conversation with Jerome all enhanced the trip - thank you!
It was great. The tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. The samples of champagne were amazing with and option to but straight from the vinyards.
Anne was a great host. Loved the vineyards we visited. Thanks so much!
Thomas was our guide. He was extremely knowledgeable and personable. He was able to answer any question and even shared his own list of favorite champagnes. One of the best excursions we have had in a long time. Great Day!!!
