From visiting picturesque Domaines to exquisite tastings and a beautiful lunch. The day was perfectly balanced and informative. We truly appreciated Gwendal's knowledge, passion, and warm hospitality, making it a highlight of our trip.

Our host, Mr. Gwendale, went above and beyond and truly delivers a 5 star service. We went on several tours throughout our time in Europe and no one exceeded our expectations with the exception of Mr. Gwendale. A+. This tour was one of the highlights of our trip to France. Highly recommend.

We visited our favorite Champagne winery. Veuve Clicquot. Our driver was amazing he drove us around the city and was very knowledgeable about its history….

Need to correct this listing…it is a driver who takes you safely from place to place in a tidy, comfortable vehicle. The company picks the champagne houses and sets up the appointments. The driver takes you there. The driver does not provide any type of tour or conversation in English. He’s quite nice though. And we loved our tastings. Was just surprised there was no further tour or information between appointments.

Gwendal was an amazing, knowledgeable and very patient guide. He coped well with our family getting excited in the Moet shop, taking photos of bumble bees and asking for an extra tasting ticket for a Demi Sec style champagne. Pommery exceeded expectations and the art was beautiful and unexpected. The smaller champagne house was really lovely and interesting esp being closer to the process and the WW2 history.

Booked this tour for my birthday and it was a first class experience. The day was seamless and our guide, Gwendal, was a true professional, knowledgeable and a kind soul. If I could give this day and experience more than five stars, I would. We took a morning SNCF train into Champagne, which was really easy to navigate, and took the train back into town in the evening. I can't wait to return and bring my whole family this time. Thank you, Gwendal and Royal Journey France, for making my birthday extra special.

We had a wonderful time in Champagne. Gwendal our guide, was amazing. He talked to us so much about the history of the region and the art of champagne making. We have visited our favorite champagne house Veuve Clicquot, visit of champagne houses was amazing , and lunch at Bellevue was absolutely excellent, the view was amazing. It was the best part of our trip in France, we had the best service.Gwen prepared a surprise sabrage champagne for my mother's birthday and we visited our favorite champagne house Veuve Clicquot. We had lunch in the restaurant Bellevue, it's a excellent choice to enjoy the wonderful view of Epernay.He would be our choice for our next tour and we wish all tour guides were as well educated and communicative.

This tour by Gwendal was easily the highlight of our 5 day trip to France!!! He picked us up directly at the train station in the morning, and then guided us through the champagne region with great knowledge and kindness! He also always offered to take pictures for our group and was super accommodating to any requests. At the end of our day, we wanted to go walk around town and have dinner, which isn’t included in the tour, and he offered to hold onto the champagne bottles we bought and meet us at the train station that night. He was an incredible tour guide and we learned so much! Both champagne cave tours were chosen by him and they were great choices. We already hope to come back and do another tour with Gwendal!

We had an amazing week in Champagne with Gwendal. He has vast knowledge about the world history, the Region and the Champagne industry. We visited large and smaller Champagne houses and lovely lunches along the way. We could enjoy the tours and tastings with no worries about driving. The best tour if you want the VIP treatment! We had an amazing experience with Gwendal at the helm! Lots of history and champagne packed into this journey. Gwendal lead the charge during our visit to Notre Dame, answered any question thrown his way! We ventured next to Pommery Champagne house with a private tour conducted by Laura* - it was a beautiful champagne house with spectacular caves, and wonderful champagne. We had a scrumptious lunch at Le Jourdin that was dazzling as it was delicious! Then we visited a smaller family champagne operation, Philippe Martin. While the facilities were down due to the fermentation process and the gases that were being released. However, we got an exclusive tour of their museum. If you’re given the opportunity, do not pass up their charcuterie board! It made me wish purse meat was an accepted concept. Philippe Martin’s champagne was not disappointing and many bottle were procured! Gwendal rounded out our tour with a visit to Dom Perignon’s tomb and champagne road. Amazing door to door service that couldn’t have been beat! Highly recommend and would do it again! *Some names might have been changed to protect their identity and I can’t remember.

Gwendal was a phenomenal tour guide throughout the region, from the time he picked us up at our hotel in Paris until he dropped us back off. Each stop was filled with engaging knowledgeable people. The champagne wineries were wonderful the tour of Notre Dame in Reims and the Abbey where Dom Perignon was laid to rest so interesting The tour guide at Veuve Clicquot was exquisite, delightful. Lunch at the Royal Champagne Hotel was delicious, beautiful view. It was a wonderful tour, I recommend it.

We were with a group of 7 girls and had an amazing experience! Gwendal, the driver, was very nice and showed us around in Reims-city. He made sure we were always on time but without pressuring or stressing us. The whole day was planned into detail and it was very nice to know we did not have to think about anything. Gwendal picked us up at 9.15 AM at our appartment and we were dropped off at the end of the day at 6 PM. We loved our experience!

Superb day with visit to Reims Cathedral. Visits to exceptional cellars to finish at the sources of champagne the habaye d'Hautvillers, without forgetting a refined meal. My English friends were delighted with their stay. Thanks to Gwendal who accompanied us.
