This is a story of 2 parts. The stroll through the Medina and up to the mausoleum and ultimately the gardens was very good. Our guide was detailed with history, explaining aspects of the different religions and their impact on architecture. We went through the various quarters at a nice pace. The mausoleum was closed due to the kings visit but that was outside anyone’s control. Our guide bought us mint tea and Moroccan pastries at the gardens. The second part was unfortunate. Our guide was 20 mins late due to accident with his ride to our starting point, although he did message. He took numerous calls during our walk (he said due to important personal matters). We did end at the assigned end time (meaning our tour was short by 20 mins) but were not taken back at the starting point per the booking, but rather an hours walk away with no instruction on how to get back until we asked. We were told to take a blue taxi and it should cost about 20 MAD. We had to argue with the driver to start the meter and then watched in horror as our driver added to distance and time through detours based our viewing of Google Maps. It was unsettling.

No Show of Tour guide even after 30min oder Meeting time. No contact Option. Absolutely unacceptable.
The meeting point was too vague. We had no cell number to contact the guide plus we walked all around for 1.5 hrs to find the guide but never did so we left
Very nice tour strongly recommend to have a detailed information about Arabic history. Badr was super nice and very helpful.
Great tour! Mix-up fixed fast. Knowledgeable guide, but rushed stops and uneven organization.
We had a great time walking about Rabat with Ayoub! He was knowledgeable about the history of Rabat and tailored the tour to our interests. He also spent more time with us than expected. We would definitely recommend him again to anyone visiting Morocco!
Ayoub is a fantastic guide for a walking tour. He has extensive knowledge of the social, cultural and political history of Morocco and specifically Rabat. He gave a really interesting and thorough introduction to the city and country. A perfect way to start my trip to Morocco!
Good guide. Very knowledgeable. Answered all questions in an unrushed way. We wouldn’t have been able to appreciate Rabat properly without all the information he gave us.
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. He provided great insight into the history and current environment of Rabat.
We booked and paid for a walking tour in Rabat. Spent extra money to get there on time only to have the guide not show up. Very disappointed in Viatour.
Asmma was very friendly and knowledgeable, this is a great way to see and learn about this history of Rabat!
The guide Badr is a lovely young man and Rabat native. He answered our questions and allowed time for shopping. He made frequent stops to make sure we were following and no one in the group was left behind. I had previously stayed in Rabat, but every place we visited was new to me. He truly gave an insider's view of the city.
We had a brilliant and informative walking tour of Rabat with Asmaa. She was extremely knowledgable and friendly, and brought us to a lot of very interesting places. I would highly recommend taking this tour on your first day visiting this interesting city! Thank you to Asmaa for giving us such a lovely tour!
Badr, our guide gave us an excellent tour of Rabat and was very informative about Moroccan history and culture. Thanks very much.
A good way to start a weekend in Rabat.
This was an exceptionally good walking tour led by a very friendly & capable guide Badr, a young man & native of Rabat. His knowledge of his City was exceptional. His English was perfect and easily understood. His blend of sharing knowledge of areas of interest, blended with information of history, tradition and even culinary experience added to my enjoyment. I was part of a small group tour, and my time was further enhanced by the interaction shared with Badr & two other Europeans. I totally recommend this tour, and Badr , which has giving lasting good memories. Shukran

Great tour guiding, saw beautiful areas of Rabat and Salé, and learned so much about the area. Our guide was super informative and friendly and kept in good contact before/after the tour. 5/5 stars would recommend!
We really enjoyed our walking tour with Badr. He showed us around all the local spots, and gave us excellent recommendations for food and shopping. Would highly recommend.
I booked the tour by myself and also was the only person attending. Badr was a good guide, talked about a lot of interesting things about the culture and history and answered all of my many questions very well and in depth. I would not suggest to book the tour on a Friday, especially not Friday morning, because it’s a rest day and most of the shops are closed. This, and the fact that I was the only person attending, were the reasons, that the tour went by a little bit quicker than 2 hours. I took one star off because there were passages where nothing was said, that probably could’ve been filled a bit more. Overall it was a very good experience
We had a wonderful walk around the city with Badr. He is native to Rabat and shows his love and knowledge of the city, its history, and its culture. He was also very good at making each person in the group feel important. Highly recommended!
The Kasbah Oudaya tour was a wonderful experience. It wasn’t just about walking through the site, but really understanding its history and atmosphere. The stories were told with so much passion and feeling that the Kasbah and its past truly came to life. The explanations were clear, engaging, and full of interesting details, which helped create a real sense of what life inside this beautiful fortress must have been like. It felt immersive and meaningful, not rushed or superficial. Overall, it was a memorable and enriching experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to truly appreciate the history and charm of Kasbah Oudaya.
The Hidden Gems tour was something that exceeded my expectations! Badr is the best guide, he really let you dive into the city, its history and its culture. The tour is perfect to combine the most important places (must-see) and the ones you would never discover, by walking on your own. He is very passionate during the explaining of the tour, and tries to convey all his love for the country and its traditions. I could never have a better start than this to get to know Rabat. Absolutely recommended!
took this tour with my husband and we absolutely loved it. Badr shared so much interesting information and showed us many wonderful places. It was a great experience, and we highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to explore Rabat. 100/100
We enjoyed our tour with BADR very much, Would definitely repeat, he went out of his way to make us comfortable and tried to help us with any and every question we asked him. super hospitable and 10 as a guide. I highly recommend him.
Very good experience. Small group walking tour of Rabat. Excellent guide. We've learned a lot that we wouldn't have seen alone. Recommended.
Great experience, Badr proved very prepared and answered all our curiosities and questions. Visiting a city with a competent guide allows you to grasp aspects that would normally be omitted.
Amazing! The guide is a person who taught us Rabat in the best possible way. Thank you very much for the experience and the treatment.
Badr was an excellent guide, kind and helpful, he was able to manage the tour despite the rain. Also good communication in English. We recommend it
