Asma is incredible! She has so much knowledge and love for the city. I learned a lot about Rabat and got to see the city through a local’s eyes. I would highly recommend this tour! It was perfect for me as a solo female traveler.
Asma is a warm, friendly, and knowledgeable guide and this tour is a excellent introduction to Rabat and to Morocco.
It was an outstanding tour with a wonderful knowledgeable guide. Very interesting insights into the city. Can’t recommend it more highly.
We had a super tour with Asma. It was so interesting and she was so lovely and welcoming. Highly recommend.
My guide was amazing. She was so knowledgeable and she shared not only historical and architectural information but a lot of cultural information as well. It was packed with information.
Excellent, enjoyable, informative. Asmaa is a great guide. Very friendly and knowledgeable. A lovely way to get to know Rabat, both its sites and its history.
An excellent review of the city and kingdom’s history and very insightful tidbits about the architecture of the city.
Brilliant tour, super Guide. Very friendly with great local knowledge. Highly recommend. Really good intro to Rabat.
Excellent tour: erudite, professional, accurate, and engaging. Would recommend to all traveling in Rabat.
I thoroughly enjoyed the Rabat visit with Asmaa. She has had interesting life experience that adds to her perceptions of life in Morocco. She gave excellent shopping advice. Her English is very good, like a native speaker.
We had a tour with Asma and it was unforgettable. We walked for about two hours, over about 5km. The tour started at the local train station, and ended up high on a hill where we could see our starting location. Throughout the tour, Asma was welcoming, open, educational, and funny! Asma was very knowledgeable about history. We gained a whole new appreciation for Morocco's transitions between french, spanish, and self governance. She regularly pointed out buildings on our walk and gave us a wide range of context, including construction details, local customs, art history, and politics. She also gave us insights into modern culture. She was extremely open about what it's like living in Rabat, and Morocco more generally today. That's a big reason we travel, and she did not disappoint. She knew so much about local politics and customs that we just would not have been exposed to without this tour. Throughout the tour, she showed us places we hadn't seen, even after being here for a couple months. We scored a recommendation for a hammam that we're excited about, and there's a spot we're eager to check out for coffee too! Definitely book a tour with Asma. The rest of your visit to Rabat will be deeply enriched.
The guide was really great and had huge knowledge about history, architecture. Excellent! I would recommand this tour to everyone.
The 3 hour Rabat walking tour with our female guide (Asmaan?) was great! She gave us historic background information throughout the whole tour, very witty, funny, charming, enthusiastically. We got a good understanding of the city which helped us to move around throughout the entire week we stayed in there. I loved the Rabat very much because of her introduction. We loved the authenticity of the friendly people with not too many tourists visiting and we were able to move around the inner city very comfortably because of all the information she gave us on our very first day in Rabat.
We came from lebanon to visit rabat for the very first time it was a smooth easy nice trip with Asmaa she took really good care of us she showed us the whole city in a nice program, she is very friendly, helpful
Asmaa was an amazing tour guide! As women traveling solo we felt more comfortable with a female tour guide. No upselling or side arrangements, just a lovely tour and LOTS of history and information. Would recommend 100%
We had the best tour guide. She was amazing, funny and passionate. We truly enjoyed the tour. Great experience!!!
Asmaa is an excellent guide and deeply knowledgeable and my family had a wonderful time exploring Rabat with her. We met in front of the train station and received a detailed exploration of the architecture, fascinating history and current events of Rabat/Morocco. Her love for her country is deep and it was a pleasure to listen to her observations. Lastly Asmaa is warm and thoughtful and we benefited from her local knowledge, taking a row boat back to our hotel (delightful!). If you are in Rabat, do yourself a favor and set some time aside to explore the area with Asmaa.
Asmaa is a wonderful guide and person to learn from. She shared lots of historical knowledge and stories of the culture. She had funny jokes to share and made the tour very enjoyable and memorable. She offered lots of information and was open to questions the whole way. I had such a great time and definitely recommend this tour, and Rabat! Stunningly beautiful and rich in history. Thank you Asmaa!
Loved the tour. The guide is a very positive and cheerful person. She takes you around Rabat and shows notable places in about 3 hours. I say the price is still a bit too high. Also note that when you go into the booking page on Tripadvisor on your phone and click the location, it shows you the wrong place in your maps app. The meeting point is the train station, not next to Medina.
Comprehensive & insightful tour of Rabat’s monuments ancient & modern by an enthusiastic guide who too k the greatest care over every member of the group & every detail.
Great walking tour of Rabat! Highly recommended. Covered a lot of the central historic area on foot. Very informative, lots of history and good exploration of the city.
It was a fantastic tour, so informative. I learnt a great deal. The guide was so kind and helpful. We covered a lot of ground and saw all of the main sights and some beautiful views of the coast. It couldn’t have been better.
Excellent tour with an outstanding local guide. From the very first moment, you know you’re in for a great experience. Asmaa is incredibly knowledgeable, funny, and always smiling. The 3 hours flew by—we barely noticed the time because she made the walk so engaging and enjoyable. Asmaa is a licensed guide and a true professional. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone—families, friends, couples, everyone.
The tour guide was excellent. We walked all around the city center including the old city, the Jewish quarter, and the French quarter. We also went into the famous mausoleum and saw the new, tallest building in Morocco. She knew about changes in the country including the upcoming Africa Cup and World Cup 2030. A great value.
The best tour from our (Dutch and South African) first trip to Morocco. Our guide was knowledgeable, prepared, friendly, considerate and funny! You set the high standards!! Do yourself a favour and book this tour - you will be delighted you did!
Very well done. The tour was well-organized -- Asmaa used various stops not just as historical places but also as ways to gain insight into culture and history, e.g. using a building that showed different signs to illustrate the changing role of languages. Very intelligently done.
Tour guide Asma was very good. Learnt a lot about Morocco’s history. Would recommend this tour to other visitors
She was absolutely wonderful and very knowledgeable. I learned so much about Rabat, and I had a great tour. I wish it had been a little longer and included access to the museum in the Andalusian gardens, but I absolutely would book this tour again.
It was amazing. Friendly, professional, knowledgeable about the site and the history of not only Rabat but Morocco. Esme (please forgive my spelling) is a genuine and beautiful example of the people and country.
Very nice walking tour as a small group with a lovely guide Asmaa. She is very knowledgeable and fun and the tour was very nice including the main highlights of the city of Rabat. The cathedral, Tour Hassan, Oudayas and Medina. Highly recommended if you are on a short stopover or short visit to Rabat.
Good tour of Rabat highlights. Tour guide was knowledgeable and very welcoming. Would recommend. Only negative was no stop at oldest coffee shop for coffee and Moroccan treat as advertised, which was disappointing as a coffee connoisseur.
Great tour great guide and great city.asma was informative went the extra mile to explain everything little thing about rabat.
The tour guide was on time and spoke excellent English. The sights visited were great and provided excellent photo opportunities. The guide provided information at all the stops. The stop at Café des Oudayas for mint tea and local cookies was a chance to sit down and chat with the group.
The tour guide was on time and was patient enough to wait 10 minutes for 4 people who were late. The sites we visited were very interesting and provided excellent photo opportunities. The stop at Café des Oudayas was timely for a mint tea and local cookies. The tour guide spoke excellent English and provided great explanations at each stop.
Aasmah was an excellent guide. Very informative and interesting tour. Learned quite a bit in a few hours walking in beautiful Rabat.
Aasma was a wonderful guide and we learned a lot about the city of Rabat. She went above and beyond - communication before, during and after the tour. She made the day fun and enjoyable. Highly recommend this walking tour!
Titi is one of the best guides I've ever met on my visits. She knows enormously lot, she's very informative and interesting, entertaining all the time during the tour. I can only warmly recommend her to everyone who wants to know more about Marocco and Rabat 👍
Great overview of Rabat, Titi was very knowledgeable and went out of her way to help. Would highly recommend the tour. I asked for help in recharging my phone and buying lunch after the tour had finished and she was more than happy to happy to help.
Don’t hesitate to book Titi, she is knowledgeable, lively and friendly, I had a good time walking around Rabat. Thank you Titi
Really excellent tour. Asmaa, my tour guide was a really friendly, fun and engaging guide. Covered all the main sites and gave a good insight into Moroccos history and culture. Highly recommend
A spot on walking tour with an enthusiastic guide who genuinely seems to love Rabat, is full of knowledge and definitely not working from a script. Be aware you will do about 10, 000 steps, but if you're happy with that you'll see the main sights and learn plenty about Rabat. Our tour lasted nearly 3 hours, our questions were answered and we had a lot of fun between our small group.
An informative tour of Rabat given by an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide. got beyond the history and presented some of the social conventions in Morocco. the tour does cover a lot of ground, a bit more than I anticipated. The guide provided ideas of where to eat and shop. Generally a good introduction to Rabat and Morocco
Meeting Asmaa in front of Rabat Ville train station was easy enough, even for us lodging in tranquil Salé. Asmaa is a young female guide with international experience and perfect command of English. That helped putting things in a more cosmopolitan perspective. Her bubbly personality together with a mix of historic information, anecdotes and contemporary lifestyle information made time fly by. Rain made us stop for some time – she filled it with interesting stories and a refreshing openness for all our questions. She extended tour-time for the rain-stop and shared excellent suggestions for our extra time in Rabat. She is from the rare new breed of well-educated young Moroccan women willing and able to share her love for her home country with us strangers. May there be many replicas!
I have been on many tours in cities around the world and Titi was one of the best city guides I have had. She was great at relating the history and culture of Rabat and of Morocco. She gave me new perspective on how the French influenced Morocco and how Morocco regained their freedom. She shared interesting details about the places we visited and answered so many questions. She is naturally curious and continues to expand her knowledge by researching topics that interest her. Her mastery of English was superb, making the conversation very natural and easy. I highly recommend any tour with her. She is excellent!
I went on the walking tour in the first week of October as part of my stay with Ilyana Surf House. Asmaa was an amazing guide - she's super knowledgeable, not only with Rabat but the surrounding history and culture. The tour takes you through all the corners of Rabat, with my personal highlights being the Mausoleum and the Kasbah des Oudaias (and the botanical garden!). Asmaa was a pleasure to spend the afternoon with and I would recommend to anyone looking for a reliable guide in Rabat. Being one of the few female guides in the city is an additional bonus - girl power!
Esme is a fantastic guide. I learned so much about Rabat and its history. She has a delightful manner. Fun to share 3 hours with her. Thank you
Our guide was very friendly and informative. She had a great personality and made the trip enjoyable. She paced the tour well as we covered a lot of ground, yet spent enough time at each site to learn about it and enjoy the scenes. This tour is well worth it. The is a good amount of walking, so bring good shoes. Each site is well-worth seeing.
Asmaa was wonderful! Encompasses all the qualities- punctual, incredibly knowledgeable, interesting, funny, and good storyteller. One of best tours we’ve had… and we’ve had a few! Thank you, Asmaa!
Asmaa was really nice , welcoming and super knowledgeable, we visited all the main see sights of Rabat city, we really enjoyed it and we totally recommand it
