Golden Tulip Farah Rabat

After two weeks of luxurious Riad stays all over Morocco, I booked the last night at a “conventional” hotel for the ease of getting to my early morning flight. The check in process was ludicrous. I arrived exactly on time but waited 40 minutes to get into my room. I’d hoped a “real” hotel could book me a reasonable ride to the airport, instead I paid the ludicrous 250 DH for a grand taxi to take me on the 10 minute trip. The room was very Premiere Inn or Motel 6. No towels in the room. AC was useless. The bathroom was in shabby condition for the price. No reason to stay here other than it’s easy to find and walking distance to most things. Book a room in any of the dozen nearby riads and skip the Borj.

Room was clean and quite spacious, no noise although the building itself is a bit outdated. Swimming pool with a good view. Good position in general to stroll around. As for the service, people are kind and very helpful, especially the staff in charge of the breakfast!

I had a great stay at Hotel Borj Rabat – A member of Barcelo Hotel Group. The hotel was clean, peaceful, and very comfy. The staff were welcoming and made me feel at home, and I really enjoyed the food and overall vibe during my stay.

I'm writing this on my second day here. So far it's going pretty good. The receptionist is a nice gentleman. The room is big and cozy. The restaurant has a pretty Moroccan touch to it. Also, the waiters are very friendly and at your service, especially the ones in the morning shift.
