We had the best time in Alila for our first leg of the honeymoon - special thanks for Yoonus and the Mirus bar staff who were always attentive and hospitable during our six night stay. The island is perfect for taking a stroll every morning and the breakfast spread is amazing for the price and there is plenty to do in terms of activities. The Euro Diver boats and facilities are all very clean and organized. Time flew by just lounging by the beach, the amazing spa and walking around the island. The beach is exquisite and the natural greenery makes you feel like you are walking in a remote jungle one moment with a beach front the next. Everything is very well maintained and you feel very much well cared for the entirety of your stay here.
Our stay at this resort was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and professionalism. The reception team made us feel at home from the very beginning, and every detail throughout our stay exceeded our expectations.
The Water Pool Villa was absolutely stunning—beautiful, private, luxurious, and perfectly maintained. The restaurants were fantastic, offering delicious food and a wonderful atmosphere every day. Even our farewell was thoughtful and heartwarming, making it difficult to leave.
A very special thank you to Sandip from Mirus Bar. He was always smiling, incredibly friendly, and went above and beyond to help us throughout our stay. His kindness and positive attitude made every visit to the bar even more enjoyable.
I would also like to sincerely thank Titana, who drove us around the resort every day with the golf cart. She was always calm, kind, professional, and made getting around the island so easy and comfortable. We truly appreciated her warm hospitality.
A huge and heartfelt thank you to the amazing Egyptian chefs—Chef Ahmed, Chef Moataz, and Chef Sayed. They prepared some of the most delicious dishes we had during our stay and always made us feel at home. Their passion and hospitality made every meal special.
We also experienced the Royal Pamper massage package, and it was one of the best spa experiences we’ve ever had. It was incredibly relaxing, professionally done, and left us feeling completely refreshed. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting the resort.

We had a really enjoyable stay at Alila Kothaifaru. It was the perfect place for our honeymoon. We stayed in the Ocean Villa, which was beautiful, and the views from the room were absolutely stunning. Waking up to the sea right outside was definitely a highlight. The island itself is also beautiful, with white sandy beaches and beautiful clear water.
The staff and service were excellent throughout our stay. Everyone was very friendly, welcoming and professional, and they always made an effort to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The manager and the whole team were very kind and accommodating throughout our stay.
Overall, we had a great experience at Alila Kothaifaru and really enjoyed our time there. The combination of the beautiful island, the villa and, the staff made it a very enjoyable stay. We would definitely come back.

We had the most incredible time at Alila, we truly didn't want to leave. All the public areas were amazingly clean and inviting. We had wonderful service by the pool from Amrit every day. We thoroughly enjoyed all the restaurants, and the breakfast was fantastic. All the staff we encountered were fantastic, Sadha gave us an amazing tour of the island, Joy was super welcoming in the spa, we had a lovely time with Salam at the cocktail hour. Our overwater villa was fantastic and our host Syn was very attentive. The housekeeping every day was wonderfully timed and the room was never lacking anything. The water was incredily clear and no foliage in the water, we were able to snorkel straight of the beach and see plenty of coral and fish. The only thing we regret is not going to the Sundowner on the Shack! I would 10000% recommend a trip to Alila.
Our stay at this hotel was absolutely wonderful. The entire resort is stunning, the beaches are incredibly clean, with soft white sand and crystal-clear water. The underwater world is breathtaking, and snorkeling here is simply amazing. I stayed in a water villa right on the house reef, and it truly felt like a dream. We even saw baby sharks directly by the beach, which was an unforgettable experience.
The food is of very high quality, and the all-inclusive option is definitely worth booking.
A special thank you goes to Sally from the Umami restaurant, who took such great care of us. She is very attentive, always smiling, and highly professional. Another big compliment to Peggy from the Seasalt restaurant, she is a very pleasant person, easy to talk to, and also extremely professional.
All the staff provide their service with genuine care, you can really feel that they love what they do.
