Our stay was exceptional.
We chose water villas but also we were able to spend couple of hours in one if the regular villas and I can tell you – search no more! If you want to find tranquililty and at the same time good variety of food and great service in Maldives – that's the place to choose.
Five restaurants gave us all we needed, paratha in the Indian restaurant is to die for. Maldivian, Sri-lankian and Indian cuisines are very fun to explore there. I enjoyed the buffet when wanted something more traditional, also great variety, they even had honey comb there! The chef of the water villa restaurant was very attentive and knowledgeable. Homemade ice cream made on the island...you can't even imagine...
The home reef is rich with sea life. It's an incredible feeling when every morning you can jump off of the steps of your house into the perfect clear water and snorkel. Over the days I've learned at which part of the reef which fish hangs out – so they became my friends and now I miss them! Huge jelly fish, reef sharks, rays, crabs, lizards, sweet little bats, heron, wild parakeets...
Adam - our buttler, provided us with an excellent service. Things were so much easier with him, so now we miss him as well)) The water villa manager Bharth went out of his way for us to remember this vacation forever. The bar is so high! We felt loved and taken care of. We felt like home. This is not what you usually experience during vacation. Here it felt like we have NOTHING to worry about, almost like back in the childhood, when you know that parents will take care of you one way or another))
The spa...spa...again, you do not usually expect high quality massages from the resort spas. But here..it was at a different level. Their stuff definitely know what they're doing.
I can not recommend this place enough. I know you'll enjoy it as much as we did. Be ready for one of the best vacations of your life!
Two different experiences on one island 🏝️- Adaaran Meedhupparu.
Prestige water villas are luxurious houses in the water with separate beach zone, own pool and restaurant, but still can enjoy all the other facilities of Meedhupparu - 3 restaurants and 3 bars, great diving and water sports center. The best in-house reef with such an amazing and colourful water world - for snorkelling and diving - time is always not enough.
Swimming with mantas, turtles, endless number of fishes 🐠, meetings with dolphins 🐬 and also with sharks 🦈😉😎!
Beautiful romantic location, great service, and a wonderful range of food and drink available at the various restaurants and bars. Sunset cruise and seeing dolphins included! Special mention to all staff at the Sunset Bar, and Hasitha who looked after our room... you all made our stay ever more special!
We stayed at Adaaran Meedhupparu Prestige Water Villas for our honeymoon and overall had an amazing experience. The villa, views, and food were all exceptional, and the island itself is absolutely beautiful.
A special mention to Nihad (waiter) and Moosa (room attendant), who were both fantastic—friendly, attentive, and really helped make our stay enjoyable.
Unfortunately, our butler Addhu did not meet expectations. Most interactions felt focused on upselling rather than providing personalised service or enhancing our honeymoon experience, which was a bit disappointing.
That said, we still had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend the resort.
Myself and Louise have just returned from Adaaran Prestige Water Vilas, and from the out-set of our arrival to the beautiful island it was perfect in every way. The food was fantastic with a great selection each day, the service from the waiters, house-keeping, bar-staff and reception was perfect and always polite. A special thank-you to our Butler Addhu he was amazing and ensured any needs we had was met with professionalism, diligent and excellent service nothing was too much trouble. Our water villa was kept super clean this also included a bed turn-down service each evening, the attention to detail was perfect. We have already booked to return next January 2027 to this special island that holds so many great memories for us. If you are thinking of visiting the Maldives we would highly recommend this fantastic island you will not be disappointed.
